Family friendly, polite service, excellent homestyle cooked meals, kids friendly, value for money, opens 7 days a week, R160 Sunday lunch buffet was fantastic with a local touch! Definitely, must eat in when in Oudtshoorn. Will definitely be back!

Lovely place for a quick lunch stop. Cocktails and milkshakes are yum! They are very kid-friendly, however the burgers for them are rather bland. The sushi is really good and well priced. Friendly waiters and prompt service. We haven't tried the rest of the menu yet, but we will definitely be back.
Karoopot Restaurant is where you'll find the true humility of the Karoo. Every meal seems homemade with love and care and the wait staff are very attentive. The seafood is immaculate - fresh, crispy and perfectly seasoned. The desserts are simple but scrumptious especially the delicious Lemon Mering

Family of six went for lunch all the way from the Eastern Cape and Gauteng and WOW, the food (and the strawberry milkshakes) were beyond great. Thank you for great food, drinks and service. We loved our time there
Karoopot Restaurant, the place has a colonial feel. It is like you have moved back in time. Their food is generous and nicely prepared and served by great staff. Great prices also

Perhaps not fine dining but certainly good old fashioned good food!!! Had the ostrich burger, muscle pan and schnitzel. All well prepared and with fresh ingredients

Good variety on the menu.. pleasant atmosphere and small dog friendly. Had Ostrich steak which was well prepared a tasty. Sundays have a buffet lunch which seems popular with locals.
