Review Hyto Tyto - Olifantsfontein

What an absolute gem of a place! There are lots and lots to do for the kids (indoors and outdoors) and great food for adults and kids alike. You can enjoy your coffee with peace of mind knowing your child will not be bored. We can not wait to visit again. You only pay an entrance fee for the children (we paid R110 on a Saturday morning). Don't miss out on this one!!

Indoor and outdoor play park for children 1 to 13 years. So much to do. Restaurant area very comfortable and waffles were great. Good for birthday parties and family groups. Security and staff watching in play area were fantastic. They even have a tractor with trailer to drive the children around in.

Lots of activities for children of all ages, very well thought out set up also accommodates adults and always for a good blend of hands-off supervision. Menu is very kid friendly but has some good options all around. It does get busy and it's worth phoning ahead

Really amazing place for kids, lots of fun activities and things to do. Will keep the little ones busy while mom and dad take a breather. The service could be better. They do take really long with their serving times, which was the only downfall. Would definitely be back, though, as my kid loved it.

It's was child friendly and the food was great. I think my baby had a great time. It was oversold though. It's a great place to take your child out on a regular outing but I wouldn't have chosen it for her birthday if u had been there before.

Wonderful place for toddlers and small children to explore and play! The waiters are all hard working and super friendly. Book in advance especially over school holidays as it gets very busy.

Excellent place for kids! The food and drinks are very pricey. But kids had great fun and slept for days afterwards :D

Great place for us with children. The place caters for birthday parties and actually meant to be child friendly so you can have some time drinking and eating while your child have some fun. Food is rather limited but overall a nice experience!

By far the best kiddies restaurant I've been to in a while. Kids were safe, pizza's great, everybody had fun without breaking the bank. Kids pay entry fee and no walk-ins, by reservation only.

Kids loved it. Nice indoor and outdoor play areas. Food is a bit of a swing and a miss. Some food was okay and others were just poor. Croissant in particular was flat and chewy. If you can do it well rather leave it off the menu. I ordered the bacon wrapped Mozzarella sticks and it was cold and unappetizing. Coffee was very good.

If ever there was a perfect place, then this is it. They just tick all the boxes for an outing. If you want to celebrate a party, go out with the family, or just have fun, this is where you go. Entrance fee is R75 and you get access to everything they have. And they have everything from a bicycle track to go carts to a zipline; there are hidden magical spots where you can can imagine you're a character in a fairy tale having a tea party with your favourite characters. There's outdoor and indoor seating and their menu offers variety without I've you. And if course, they do serve alcohol. Just keep in mind that you can't bring your own food. You can only buy inside. You can have coffee for R35, a milkshake for R30, and a really big bowl of chips to feed about four people for R55. You can also buy the cutest soft toys starting from ranging from R100 to R220. The staff is super amazing and just awesome with the kids. Yes, they have child minders who have the world's patience with the chidren. They make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The vibe, the decor, the activities, the energy; everything ticks the absolute right boxes. Hyto Tyto offers so much that I couldn't cover everything in this review. You have to go and see for yourself. If you're looking for a place where you can unwind, knowing that your child is safe, have good food and be revived, this is your place. I love it!

Great place for the little ones. Lots of activities that can keep them busy the whole day. The atmosphere is very chilled for adults as well, with no noise. There's room for improvement on the food. The service was also great.

What can i say this place ticks all the boxes. It's got so much space inside and outside to sit down and eat and the different party venues and play areas inside and outside is incredible πŸ™Œ you don't pay per hour at this place you pay one's and enjoy the day with your family. The food and drinks are tasty and worth πŸ˜‹ from fary gardens to train rides and water fun , peddle cars and so much more. The place is clean and the atmosphere is amazing πŸ‘

Love everything about this place. Needs a booking to be made before hand, but the playgrounds, indoors and outdoor, are fantastic. There is so much to do and the menu with food and drinks are also very exciting for both young and old. If you need a place to tire out your bundles of energy, this place is a must try.
