I always enjoy going to the Noordhoekcafe. They make the best Red Cappuccino's in the South and the staff are really very friendly. The chicken pie – always a favourite – is a real treat and you never have to wonder "where's the chicken?" We go there regularly for the relaxed atmosphere, amazing location and lovely Sunday roast. My hubby swears by the Thai fish cakes.

The BEST coffee served with a friendly smile. Also good homemade pastries. And other goodies. So a good place to stop by on your Peninsula tour.

A Noordhoek establishment that has certainly used the the deli space creatively. Fresh baked goods, amazing coffee. This place is well stocked with useful and fresh foods. The fresh mushrooms are worth buying. Pair it with a good bottle of wine from their selection. I chatted to a "regular" client of theirs who had wonderful things to say of his experiences here. . Lovely spot.

My partner and I went for dinner last night at the Food Barn. It was an absolutely incredible evening. We were greeted by a lovely hostess as we walked in and got a beautiful table near the window. We order different dishes so we could taste more of the food. Every single dish was so beautifully presented and the quality and flavor of the dish was impeccable. The staff were so professional and friendly and made the whole experience even better. On a side note, the decor of the restaurant is lovely and every few months the paintings change. Therefore the restaurant doesn't always look exactly the same which is very cool. It was one of the best dining experience I've had in a while - definitely worth a visit. Thank you Foodbarn for a lovely evening!

Got a takeaway portion of the tripe they made. OMG, fantastic. Not many places that still cook and sell real food. Cheesecake was also amazing. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Thanks guys.

Excellent food and service! We tried 6 different tapas between the two of us and they were all amazing in quality, taste and presentation. Prices are very reasonable and we got a free dessert because we had 3 tapas each. Highly recommended.

Awesome father's day breakfast, I had the Whole Goose and my wife had the Le Petite breakfasts. Which both were sumptuous and there was no way you left hungry. The Le Petite was definitely not small. My daughter had the granola with yogurt, honey and piles of fresh fruit.

Had the most divine calamari salad for ĺunch and great tapas one evening. Will definitely go back. U fortunately tapas are only in evenings - not every evening. I think from Tuesday to Saturday.
