Unbelievable views, food took alittle time to be prepared but the restuarant was at full capacity, waiter was nice and friendly, food was just as good as any other mugg and bean, the view is the cherry on the top of the cake, make the experience even more memorable
There is a Mug & Been at the Lower Sabie Rest Camp just past the general store. They have a small coffee shop style area as well as a large outdoor restaurant area with seating overlooking the Lower Sabie River. Opening hours are 7am to 9pm daily.

We arrived as the sun was setting to the west and the moon was rising in the east. It was spectacular. The deck at Mugg & Bean has the best restaurant view that we experienced in Kruger. A wonderful place for a restaurant, near the river with a lot of wildlife. Food was delicious, especially dinner! We thought it was, because Located in Kruger Park, pretty basic but it was the opposite. Breakfast was a bit simple but that’s probably because of the cheaper meal we had.
