Took the family for a breakfast. Our waiter Lungi was very friendly and gave us excellent service! The food was delicious, the coffee was spot on! Afterwards, we went on the 2,5km walk and thoroughly enjoyed it. Amazing view from the top. Will definitely come back.

This place was recommended for us by the Carol Tree Guesthouse, just a few minutes away from it, and we are thankful for the recommendation because it was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting in Mbombela🤞🏾

Took my family for the first time, we enjoyed and had fun. It was perfect and a waitress by the name of Promise Ngobeni gave us the best service.

The food was amazing , the service was great. The things they only have dry wine and my friends are not so much as wine people as I am so couldn't have that. Had to settle for cocktail which were great in taste not so much for the quantity. Overall the place is beautiful and would go back .

Delicious food and great location right on the river! We tried the blue cheese and beef salad and the burger, both were exceptional. Service was great. The food is a bit pricey but most dishes have expensive ingredients and the portions were generous.

Wonderful, peaceful location on the banks of the Croc River. Dogs are more than welcome! Kids have great fun here playing with Sam the Golden retriever, using the swings and exploring the river. Food is very good and service very friendly. The owners are extremely nice people who are happy to sit down and have a chat with you while you wait for your meal. They run a really good operation!

Absolutely loved it here. Nice out of the way restaurant which makes for a great family outing. The food is excellent, well worth the price. The waiting staff is awesome, excellent customer service. My advice is call ahead to make a reservation because it does get busy. I will definitely be coming back for seconds😊

Great service, lovely outside area. Dogs went for a nice swim a made friends with the resident dog Sam. A great selection of vegetarian food. Very yummy.

Lovely outing for family and friends and for ones 4 legged babies. That was a plus point. Spent half a day there. Enjoyed the market as well.

When we first arrived at the restaurant, there was a server who greeted us with a big smile on her face and offered to try and find us a table though the restaurant was packed and quite a few reservations had been made. A woman whom I assume was the hostess (blonde hair, blue eyes, short) walked up to her and asked if we had a reservation, the server told her no we didn't and she immediately went "No, no, no, all the tables are reserved" with such an appallingly dismissive attitude and I was immediately put off from there. They eventually found us a table and we were served by the most amazing waiter. She was quick, friendly and and so helpful! Everybody enjoyed their food and I highly recommend the condensed milk coffee. I really didn't mind that there was no space in the restaurant and reservations had been made but that hostesses attitude was beyond disgusting. Only forces beyond human control can understand why she's in the service industry. And she also watched us like a hawk while we were there. Such a shame cause their establishment is lovely, their food is delicious and the rest of their staff is great.

Friends is a beautiful place. A rustic setting with great views of nature yalong the river make for a relaxing atmosphere. Food is excellent, service is great. Not many vegan options unfortunately. Definitely worth a visit!
