I just came here to pass time and I received such good service from Thando. She's friendly & always smiling. I had a starter meal of calamari, rice & a few drinks & it was delicious. Thank you for a great experience

Best sushi bar in Nelspruit. Love the diffrent options and how stylish they present the food. Staff was lovely and helpful. Waiteress was checking up on us all the time and helped us with a rewards card. Great service 😊

Dear John Dory's Team Herman, Xolilè , Precious & The Chef I would like to give my compliments to all your staffs at John Dorys Riverside , Nelspruit. Everything was really kicked up a notch. Our Server , Xolile , was without a doubt, the most amazing server I have ever met, or ever had . She was attentive but not overbearing.  Quick, but not too quick that we ever felt rushed.  And, most importantly, she was incredibly kind and courteous. Xolile , and Manager Precious made us feel right at home. They clearly have a passion for what they do.  Both of them are of great assets to the company and hope they can be treasured and groomed well in the future. Please convey my thanks and appreciation to these wonderfull ladies! The food was spectacular and superd . Truly Magnificent! The Chef prepared our dinner to perfection!!! The Sushi is the best in the area and the rest of the menu is outstanding.!!! For making a Lasting Impact for me and my family, I would like to thank , Herman, and the entire staff at John Dorys Nelspruit. Went there and the fish and chips was to die for. Prudence whom waited on us mus get a special mention as i left my wallet on the table. She ran behind us to call us back to collect the wallet. 10 out of 10

Pretty amazing seafood and grill for a franchise of that inclination. Wide, bright space with an ectensive children's play area. Really good. 👌🏽

Enjoyed the food. Offers relatively quiet but 'fun' dining. Its pocket friendly as well. Definitely a good place for dining while at riverside mall

This is now the second John Dory's we have visited and we cannot find any complaints about it. It has now become my wife's favorite place especially on a Wednesday with the half price Sushi special. The waitress we had was so friendly and the food was devine.

Ate there 27 Jan 2023, really no complaints. The food was excellent- Phumla and Sipho were our waiters (Great service). Vibe was good, food was amazing, service was quick 👍🏼

Grand daughter's birthday - enjoyed the Captain's platter, really delicious. Have to commend Joyce for service excellence. Very enjoyable night out!

Very great staff, friendly and welcoming. Our waiter was really patient and helpful we just forgot to ask her name, but she is light skinned, fully figured pretty lady had a curly Brazilian weave. She was really friendly and welcoming. Please show her this review, we are definitely coming back.

No one makes better Sushi than John Dory's. If I could afford to be there every Wednesday for half price sushi I'd always be there. The staff is so friendly and very caring. My daughter loves the play area and there's always someone to look after her, even when she's the only child there. It's really appreciated cause it gives me time to have my wine and sushi in peace. ☺️
