My first time at Carnivore, definitely won't be my last. The meal started with tomato soup and delicious bread. We were then brought a lazy Susan with a selection of salads and sauces. Our waitron explained which sauces would go best with which meats. Then onto the meats. Crocodile, Zebra, Kudu, Antelope plus pork, beef, pork ribs, sausages, samoosas. I tried a bit of everything, some I loved, some were not to my taste. But what an enjoyable evening, it was topped off by the staff entertaining us, singing traditional African songs, and playing drums! If you haven't been to Carnivore, you really are missing out...
Such a wonderful place, the waiters are friendly, food was delicious, the manager was checking if everything is okay, the music was good everything about it was awesome. I enjoyed my stay yesterday and I would definitely love to go back..

If you are into an exotic meats like ostrich crocodile zebra etc . This is a good place for you to give it a try. But for me who can ate only a pork and a chicken this is not much suitable place to dine for me . The clerk here is very active and let you took a lot of great pictures. Overall a nice experience.

To the Owner of Carnivore, you have the most Decent staff there working at Carnivore Restaurant, we were there last night 03-10-2023 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was amazing and will tell friends and family of the experience we had there...The Food was out of the top hill; The Meat was out of the world! Die Susan, papa...it was turning, daai storie is leka!!!
The Desert was extraordinary, delicious! Before we had our desert the team came to sing for us Shosoloza song but in happy anniversary style, this was ending our night amazingly. it was very funny as well though,
You have the team for customer comfort at Carnivore.
I just want to thank all of them for doing such good customer service,
Also big thanks to Welcome, for being so kind and humble, soft-hearted person, he was there by us to make sure we are satisfied, and we were... i can promise you that. This man came to us to give us each a hug when we left, feels like family there...

Situated within the Misty Hills conference centre. This place is about serving as many types of meat as possible. We had zebra, giraffe, kudu, impala, crocodile, liver, meatballs, sausages etc served. The salads on the table was not enough for our group and it took ages to get more. The bar service was very slow. The decor and atmosphere is excellent. Great place for groups to go. Well worth at least one visit.
Great selection of game meat, eat as much as you can. The dessert is delicious. Definitely going back for more.
Absolutely loved this place. The food was great and it was good to know what we were eating as each food came out. The atmosphere and service is amazing. The decor takes you on an African journey. I'm definitely coming back...

This place is such an awesome idea, so different from anything else I've ever experienced.
The food was delicious, and the presentation was is just fantastic.
It's honestly an experience, not just a meal.
The only complaint I have, which is very situational to my experience, is that the waiters that assisted me all seemed to be very new the restaurant and had little knowledge as well as not being able to speak/understand English properly.
That being said, they were still very helpful and incredibly friendly, not a single staff member had a sour face.
I highly recommend Carnivore to anyone that's a meat lover, will hopefully come back here soon
It was wonderful we enjoyed ourselves though we did not get desert but the overall experience of wildlife meat was nice
It's a beautiful place to enjoy with family and friends,good food/meat and drinks.
I had an amazing time, the meat just kept on coming and the service was immaculate. The staff is really friendly and I would definitely go back again. They get fully booked so make sure you book in time.
However, I was just disappointed that I didn't receive the gift promised for mother's day special that I paid for
The last time I was here was about 9 years ago. As great as it was back then, I can say with certainty that it's even better now! Full selection of meats were available, our waiter (Mandla) was friendly and took care of us.

Place is beautiful and the service is great. Food was also really good but They bring out the meat really really fast not giving you time to breathe. The dessert wasn't good at all and not many sides were put on the table except for salads but Overall we had a great experience.

Whether you are a meat lover or not, when you visit South Africa, don't miss the opportunity to have a wonderful lunch at this carnivore restaurant, feel the exotic atmosphere and environment, and try the unique African cooking taste. Whether we like it or not, whether we have ever been eaten it or not, if we are lucky, we may have the chance to taste some of the world's protected wildlife that we may never have seen or heard of before, such as crocodiles, ostrich, Impala, zebra, wild deer and kudu. This will not let us waste our time here, at least the trip is worth the valuable experience. When dining in the restaurant, we can see with our own eyes a large fire place, in which several animal legs and some what are being roasted. The moment when the restaurant waiter will take a roasted animal leg in his hand and come to us and cut it piece by piece on our plate for us to enjoy, what an exciting feeling it will be, this is a fantastic meal with a special good food experience that we could have had in a real African venue! It really is a memorable lunch in South Africa.
Outside the restaurant around entrance, there is someone showing a traditional African folk dance with full energic in their traditional costume.
On the dining table, we can also see extra-large, round, black, hard bread as big as a medium size rice plate, and we don’t know how to eat it. A few naughty fellow teammates threw it around on the table for fun. This bread may also be a bit like a special symbol of African women, both round and big!🤭
What a wonderful close-up of an African carnivore restaurant ! It is a fantastic, exciting, exotic entertainment and valuable experience for us along in our lives. All in all, this trip is really a wonderful experience of us in South Africa. You may try it yourself! (061222/x)
I had an amazing experience at Carnivore,we received a warm welcome and all the waiters served with kindness and a smile,this was a whole new experience for me and I loved how the buffet was served on our tables,that avoided the up and downs of having to get food. I was tasting the crocodile and Zebra meat for the time and I loved it,thank you to bab Welcome for making us feel at home
An awesome environment to patronize with friends. It is open and allows for free movement it has that rustic feel. A wonderful experience tasting different types of meat from kudu to croc to beef and ostrich. The only downside is that during the festive season it becomes too full such that they become short staffed and run out of sodas.
Otherwise a great place to visit but it normally operates from Wednesday to Sunday only.
We had a project celebration here and from the Event's Co-ordinator, Hennie, to the Head waiter we were allocated, Welcome, to one of the supervisors, Zanele, and to all of our waiters and waitresses, we were taken good care of and enjoyed every aspect of our afternoon there. The ambience is awesome, it is a very happy place I have to say. Not uptight and I think the people going there are also not uptight. The mood was great, we had an opportunity to daaaanncccceee. And I'm still dealing with sore gums from all the lekker meat eating
