Review Lagerchinos - Muizenberg

Went for burger and chips. The meat patty was really thick and tasty and great home made cut chips. The inside decor is not appealing so we opted for take out.

A great place with a relaxed casual atmosphere, good service and good food and lots of parking nearby. Their pizzas are excellent - one of the best thin pizza bases I've come across. The decor is a bit dated and washed out but otherwise highly recommended. Oh and it's pet friendly.

Food is good! Quick service and nice staff. It's a neighborhood pub with a great pizza oven.

Friendly staff, Easy going, good chat, old friends, New meeting New Pam's Sauce, has finally a label. Wow, gjrl you go. Love the taste of Organic.

A little hidden gem. A casual and relaxed atmosphere. Pizzas are nice and greasy. Menu is the pub styled and filled with juicy meaty comfort foods. * outdoor seating * Bar * kid friendly * inside seating with the view of a pizza oven (lekker warm in winter) Meal service is GREAT!!

Great place to have a bite when you visit Muizenberg beach. Person favourite for me is their Full portion nachos with bacon

Awesome food. Had Nacho's and the Rob's pizza... Both were AMAZING!!! Very tasty, very good portions and very well priced. Our waiter was also great, friendly and professional, he made sure we were happy with food and drinks, left, and only came back when he saw our table could do with some clearing (I'm not a fan of waiters constantly checking up on me and having to try and answer with a mouthful of food 😂) Not quite the place for a romantic dinner or a first date but heck, if you are hungry and just need a chilled vibe..... Then this is the place 😎

Friendly, laid-back stop to relax after a busy week. Small play set for little kids, and well priced good food.

I love the pizzas so thats my reason for definitely not skipping this piece of heaven. The staff are super friendly, they have an outside garden to chill. The owner Rob is always around and a really hands on boss with a smile. Atmosphere is great.

Lovely place, nice owners, nice workers. Lovy garden area, one of the. One of the more well priced places. Nice outside area.. I would use it yo do nice braai platters or make it more African style food... Our Xhosa style street food.. Chalaka, pap, meat... It doesn't have to be fancy, but would attract the crowds... We need it, be the one to do it... But try them out and see what you think...

Had a 3 day craving for Nachos, and honestly think I found the best to fulfill that need! Had the HUGE starter portion (could not finish it!) which was baked in the pizza oven and was simply delicious. Will definitely be back, perhaps to try a pizza. Loved the vibey music too.

Excellent pizzas and burgers which we had. From my kids and myself pizzas were the best. Very nice place and good service. Cold beer. Came from the northern suburbs and very happy we did. Will go there again. Loved it.

I have lived in Cape Town for 23 years and it's the first time going here. Awesome indeed. Great food at great prices with awesome service. JP was our guy and he surely delivered great service. Will definitely be back.

This place is amazing ! The food is delicious , this bacon and chicken wrap I ordered was massive I literally almost fell off the bench 😐 I couldn’t believe the size of it. And it was absolutely delicious!!! Our waiter was JP and his service was absolutely excellent! Will definitely be going to this lovely place again.

Nice outdoor setting. Staff very friendly and food good. Reasonable prices. Just be careful peri peri chicken livers very hot😅. Amazing wood fried oven pizza as well🍕

This is not your typical pizza joint but the Pizza and Nacho's are definitely worth the visit!! A day on the beach or a game of putt putt @ Muizenberg topped off with a late lunch at Lagerchino's will be a good day!

This place is laid back with a cool garden setting for friday afternoon drinks. The pizza is Ok - maybe too many toppings which weigh it down but its tasty!! The Schnitzel was nice but felt a bit sick afterwards. I would say stick with a simple pizza and your good to go!!!

Food is absolutely pathetic. Service is friendly. Garden location is pleasant and kid friendly, but decor, and everything else is horrible..

Friendly staff & good service<br/><br/>Tasty food & great value for your money!!  We ordered Nachos to share and were totally surprised by the LARGE portion we received.  <br/><br/>Lekker laid back vibe.

Opposite the Muizenberg pool complex are a few unassuming eateries, one of which is Lagerchinos, presumably a reference to beer and coffee.<br/><br/>The down to earth vibe is matched by the friendly greeting at the​ door and the laid-back decor of checkered tablecloths matched by the fat black cat who promptly jumped onto the table as we sat down. He soon tired of our company (apparently he'll sip your beer when you aren't looking) and left us for more catlike pursuits.<br/><br/>The beers (and refills) arrived on cue and the pizzas were large, stuffed with toppings and too much to finish. At R98 each, we thought it worthwhile. In fact, we could've shared and been satisfied.<br/><br/>We liked it so much that we returned the day after, but the kitchen had already closed (at 21h30 on a week day). We'll try again.

LOVE this place, the staff are laid back, and friendly.  By visit 3 they remembered our choice of beers, and hot sauce, and our kid just LOVES the play area.The most divine pizza made in a real pizza oven.Clean.  Nice vibe.Even comes with a built-in fat cat to make you feel at home.

Usually a good spot for pizzas but this time it was awful. Pizzas(usually light and crispy based) doughy and heavy. The desert a huge flapjack with ice cream was a heavy doughy blob with the ice cream completely melted. Worst was the waitress who we never saw or heard from once the food was delivered. The other waiter eventually helped us out. I refused to pay for the desert and for the first time in my life did not leave a tip. Not going back in a hurry. Approach with caution!

Me and my wife went there for lunch, had the sea food platter and what a meal cooked to perfection. I would go there again and what value for money

The Pizza here is great lots of toppings and a crispy thin base worth giving a shot although a bit pricy <br/><br/>The one hot chocolate we received was horable and watery but they exchanged it quickly and the 2nd one was fine<br/><br/>Good overall service and atmosphere<br/>

We really enjoyed our pizzas here! This is my #1 pizza place in Cape Town. I had the vegetarian with pineapple :). <br/>Very relaxed atmosphere and setting .. inside and outdoor seating. Seems like the local hang out :)
