A lovely small family-owned shop by the beach - very generous portions of their snack boxes and cheap eats. Iconic heaping creamy ice cream. Cash or snapscan only although they have an ATM machine for cash withdrawals in-store.

I've grown up having Majestic ice cream as a treat whenever we went to the beach, now I have kept that tradition with my kids. Serving the best ice cream as far as I'm concerned. 🥲😁

Amazing shop, oldest shop in Muizenburg, super friendly owners, Portuguese Fish and Chips, ice cream cones, just like in Portugal. Wonderful collection of vintage tins and Coke memorabilia. Rare beach front gem. Right on the beach, loads of parking.

Best soft serve ice cream I've tasted in Cape Town

Amazing local businesses. Great prices for great portions of food. The staff are super friendly and generous. My go to is the chicken snack box and it never fails to surprise me. The food is absolutely incredible, so much flavour and it’s definitely made fresh and with love.

The best ice cream cones in Cape Town! Sea food take out menu tasty too. Calamari exceptionally well prepared . All portions generous too. Coupled with good food and value for money is the customer centricity of the Management. Well done!! You are truly an icon in Muizenberg

I had an amazing Fish and Chips takeaway. It was fresh, tasty and about the size of Everest. Good for two people to share. I followed that with an amazing soft-serve ice cream. The creamiest one I have ever had. P.S I could not finish the fish and chips due to its size. But it was yummy.

This place is just amazing. Great food for you buck. The consistency never disappoints! If you're hungry, Majestic Café is the place to go!

On top of the beach's most famous soft serve ice cream, they offer a proper cup of coffee from good bean. The wizard at the coffee machine crafts an affogato: forget ice coffee and coffee milkshakes, _this_ is how to drink a cold coffee! No suger needed, rich espresso melting a generous swirl of the best soft serve... heavenly!

Undoubtedly the best softserve ice-cream in the country!!! And they do great toasted sarmies as well!

Majestic Cafe's food is always very delicious, freshly prepared and the portion sizes are very generous! The staff are always super helpful/friendly and if one has space after their meal, definitely get an ice cream (sugar cone with a flake for the win). I've been going there for years and will continue to go, as it's definitely a favourite of the locals (you just can't beat their chips as well).

Even when we can't move down here in Muizenberg, with all the people, the owners are sticking to the Covid rules and really glad that they are strict about them. There are so many people that are coming down to Muizenberg that do not follow the rules and regulations. Thanks everyone for the fantastic food as always!

I have not tasted the food here, BUT, I had had the ice cream (Soft Serve) This is a BIG must! Their ice cream is really good! Give it a try next time you are in the area. Nothing nice than licking one of these babies (with a chocolate flake in a sugar cone) on a hot day.
