The best weekend away we ever had... disappointed we couldn't use the pool because of cold weather
Monzi Safari Lodge has been a lovely experience. It's tucked away on a beautiful estate, surrounded by nature. The cabins are great, inside and out. The pool and wooden deck are a lovely bonus, and each cabin is extremely neat and well kept. I would definitely stay here again. Be sure to bring enough snacks, though, as there aren't many shops in the surrounding area.
Beautifull hidden retreat, less than an hour from Richardsbay. Peacefull and quiet surroundings. The effecient and professional staff are an asset to to the establishment.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a beautiful cabin that felt like a treehouse, immersed in beautiful surroundings. Very clean with all the facilities needed to have a comfortable stay. The pool and braai area are awesome after a day of adventuring.
Once you get past the difficulties of actually trying to find the entrance, this place was great. Some proper signposting would be helpful!
On the upside, our lodge was absolutely immaculate (it was spotlessly clean) and fully equipped. However, the true selling point for me was the extraordinarily good customer service; our satellite TV wasn't working the first night, and a man came out within 10 minutes to try and fix it. He couldn't, but promised that someone would be around the following morning to sort things out. At 9 the following morning, a couple of guys turned up to change the satellite dish. An hour later, the telly was working! Just insanely good customer service, that well and truly deserves 5 stars.

Always an amazing stay. I don’t think you will get better self catering accommodation near or in St Lucia
The reception was top class especially the receptionists were professionals. The rooms were spotless clean. I can't talk about the braii area, state of the art. I will definitely recommend this place to other people.
Hidden gem near St Lucia. Cabins are amazing. Kids will love the small private pool that comes with each unit.
Everything is in working oder...the aircon...the swimmingpool...the shower...everything !!! It's green and one hear the birdsong always. Staff friendly and cleaning was done everyday. So private, yet part of nature. We love the place.
A beautiful gem in St Lucia. Stayed in a very comfortable accomodation akin to a tree house and loved every minute of being there. DSTV and your own plunge pool available, with wildebeest roaming freely around the lodge. Cellphone reception is poor but forces the kids to abandon their devices and explore their surroundings. Many attractions nearby to the lodge, including game drives, hippo/croc cruise and horse riding on the beach or in a game reserve...all exciting and unforgettable. The staff at Monzi are friendly and very helpful, especially Yvette and Nosipho, who were always willing to go the extra mile. I definitely recommend Monzi as a stunning getaway for the family.
Very peaceful staff are very friendly. Just sad the weather did not hold out for us. Loved the animals. And the prompt service in fixing the Tv. Thank you
Lovely to regroup or align, away from all the noise and stress of the city life. Definitely be coming next year for a slightly longer stay

Well-priced, beautifully kept lodge in the middle of a working litchi farm. Really decent amenities that won't break the bank.
