It's easy, their ribs are just simply a mouth orgasm. I'm pretty sure my mouth had an orgasm after their ribs. I haven't had such good ribs at such a low price, EVER. The owners are really fun down to earth people as well. Definitely a place to go to, to get amazing food at a great price. All in all they definitely have the best ribs in town.

You can’t get better value for money when it comes to food than this. And despite the food being so well priced it is great from what I have had.
The atmosphere is great for a bar, maybe not the best for a restaurant but still fun and since a big part of the place is a bar it does fit.
We have had some issues with service, but also only when wanting to pay. We have had to walk up to the front counter to pay after waiting for several minutes. This has happened twice now already. Looking past the waiting times, the staff are very friendly and treats you great. You feel like a valued customer when you eat here.
Except for the service being a bit slow the place is a high recommended place for me and I will go here again without a doubt.

Very nice restaurant if your expecting a Lanie restaurant this is not it. It's a home feeling like visiting ouma and now we're going to eat a good meal. The restaurant was neat and clean (especially the toilets)
The honesty of the waitron/ owner was outstanding he did not have the original size eisbein so dropped the price with R50 on the special with ribs👌When the eisbein came it was still big in my opinion to other restaurants around.... So I can't wait to see the original size to give the award to this restaurant for the Best eisbein in town. The Ribs is the best I've tasted since I was a child at mike's kitchen, and it was an adequate amount. The cutlery was sharp and clean and the plates were big and sturdy to fill the plates. Only thing I can suggest is some traditional sour crout with eisbein and this place will fulfill traditional Eisbein with chips. I did ask friends and family about this place and their remarks were the same as me... Good Service honest info about the food and a good experience. I give this place a 5star
The price in this restaurant is very reasonable in comparison to other similar restaurants for the same amount and quality of food.
As everyone suggested, the Eisbine is the king, 1kg for R120, crispy and crunchy skin. Eisbine lovers couldn't expect any better than this.
The 500g ribs I had is very tasty, but there is a little improvement. I just wish it would be served much hotter.
The calamari dish is very good, well deserved for a second round for its price, I will definitely come for more of this dish.
Besides, the drinks, alcohol or non- alcohol, are all well priced, same price strategy as dishes.
Excellent value for money. Delicious food. Flaky fish, crackling Eisbein ...YUMMY. Calamari is soft, maybe a little too salty for my taste. The ribs were a little dry and had a slightly burnt undertone but were still good. Salad was a good portion size. Friendly and efficient service. This is truly worth it.

What we liked was the simplicity of the place. No frills or over the top glamor and expensive decor. Just fine, to our taste good food, friendliness and prices.
I mean, where can you get a Double Cheese Burger with a juicy, tasteful patty and chips for 49 bucks. Not to mention all those other affordable deals on their manu.

My cuzzie told me about this place. Now I have been n visitor (more of a staple) to Mosselbay for over ten years! And in he pops, visits this gem of a spot - and educates me on the "where to go places" of the town I love!
I am happy to be educated, mind you.
I loved it. My two boys loved it! Great local crowd, really friendly service, and I never expected the absolute Death-Star of a burger when I got the top one off the menu! (Just ask...they'll know the one...). My kids scoffed down their ribs and calamari combos before I even got off the top stack!
Otherwise...a great plate of food for a great price. Go Big Daddys!

All I can say is WOW. Where can you get a 1kg Eisbein and a 1kg ribs for R300. From the ouside the place might look a little dodgy. But I promise you it is amazing.. when the reviews say go hungry.. GO HUNGRY. Portions are HUGE cooked to perfection. I dont think in future when I come to Mossel Bay that I will eat anywhere else.
Very, very good food at incredibly good prices, particularly their regular specials. If you're all for dining in a upmarket, stylishly decorated atmosphere this place is not for you, the fixtures & trappings is a tad on the overly casual backyard side, but the food and homely atmosphere more than makes up for it! Love our regular meals in the outside seating area.
