Love this place. Friendly service, excellent food, warm welcome and electrifying atmosphere! Persioners discount on a Wednesday, fish and calamari with chips, rice or salad.
Went there for the pensioners special...!? Wife had the special: Hake, chips & white wine. I had to try the beef burger (double of course) and what a surprise! 500gr of pure beef ground patties! The service was excellent! Well done!
We popped in on our way back from the beachfront. The vibe is good and the gravel floor gives the place a unique feel and atmosphere. It probably gets hot there in the summer because it was a sunny winters day and it was hot inside. The drinks are very well priced compared to other places. The food was awesome. We ordered a bucket to share and that was more than enough for us. The only downside and the loss of a star, is the time it took for our order to arrive. We waited quite long when the place was not really packed. I liked the braai taste of the meat though.
In the 8 years I've been here, in the Garden Route, I've never had such excellent fish. The fish was prepared over the open fire in front of me. Very rustic but relaxing. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I struggled to push a wheelchair.
I had the tastiest Kabeljou and chips and my friend had snoek and chips which she enjoyed very much. Raymond's service was excellent. Friendly and very professional. Lovely ambience with a "beach feel".
Food was delicious and the service was very good. Will definitely recommend this place.
Very rustic ambiance, some rough customers, excellent food.
Very rustic but nice Good atmosphere and friendly staff and the food is of high quality at very reasonable prices Massive portions
Was surprised with portion size of calamari burger great value. Seafood pizza was the best one I ever ordered. Add anchovies for full sea experience.
Vrry relaxed the best pizza so far
Good old fashioned "fish and chips" at very good prices. General menu also good and very affordable. Lovely sea and mountain views
Best pensioners deal on Wednesdays. Fresh hake, chips and a glass of wine for R65.
A great, relaxed place to hang out and grab something to eat. The setting is very informal, with wooden benches and numerous firepits. It has an old boat for youngsters to play on, while parents watch. It is open-air, or rather open wall so on chilli days make sure you take an extra jacket and try to snag a spot close to the firepit or to one of the furnaces.
They have a nice selection of wines and I recommend you try the housewine. They also have a large selection of beers, ciders and shots and then of course your regular hot/cold drinks.
Prices are average and compares to franchises like Spur, Panos, etc. The ambience though cannot be matched.
Not too wheelchair friendly - there are no steps but the floor is small gravel stones and the tables wooden benches, so maybe call ahead and check with them first.
We had the 'braaied' dorado fish (shared a plate as their portions are big) woth chips amd veggies and it was very tasty. I recommend this place.
Great spot and very relaxed atmosphere. lots to choose from on the menu. Massive helpings (as you can see from the attached picture) served by very friendly staff. Entertainment at weekends which we enjoyed. Can easily recommend.
Absolutely unique place. Friendly service and the best fish braai! A must visit when in Mosselbay. Looks like quite the party place too!
Great food but...some unfriendly staff...a smile does the trick! Good over all vibe but the fact that the smoking area is bigger than the rest of the place...? ... make no sense. If you like seefood...this is a place to go!
