Review Mcdonald's - Morningside

Found this branch to be clean, and well setup. I liked the outside seating area, really nice for a quick lunch break, from work. The staff were helpful and went the extra mile for us. I found the food to be fresh and crisp. Good branch 👍🏻 👏🏻 👌🏻

This outlet deserves my 5 star rating for the most outstanding service, for its interior setup and for the spotlessly clean bathroom. I really enjoyed my time spent here.

That place is always busy and the food is always fresh, at times there is a bit of a wait, they have even put a sitting area next to the road which is so nice if you are a person that likes watching what’s happening around you, and if you love cars coz you will see all types of beautiful cars passing on that junction.

I totally loved it. The staff was extremely friendly. One lady was helpful a lot. They should see me again.

Service was excellent, the staff was working quick and asled if i needed anything to make sure I got the order right

I asked for a bbq sauce. The employee reprimanded me, explaining they don’t give free things away like in my country. After realizing he was a bit harsh he gave me a free soda.

They observe social distancing. The ladies there who work by the till are super nice and helpful. My order was done in no time and I was good to go. You get your temperature recorded and record your information when you enter and they do give you sanitizer for your hands. My meal was on point and loved it. I'd rate it more than 5 stars if I could 🙃.

My first time here. We went early in the morning and it was nice and quiet. Food and service was very good.

Fresh food. Quick order processing and multiple access gates. Self service ordering system available and the outlet is open 24hr a day. Very convenient.

Amazing food and staff. Skimpy on the pickles but otherwise very fresh and tasty. Love the location and the vibe in the store. Truly a good place for an affordable deal especially if you have the application.

Woaw this must be the best McDonalds ever. It’s really done up very very well, it’s got all the icon stars from the 50ties, 60ties and 70ties and 80ties it really is the rock and roll cafe. The bathrooms are clean and tidy which is always the first place I check and as always the McDonalds is running like a machine mill. Food well McDonalds Rocks Always and forever.

This franchise sets the pace for the McDonald’s brand. It’s perfect day and night - family best and the ultimate in late night binge!

The experience at this restaurant was okay. Nothing to complain about, except that I was left in the dark a bit when loadshedding kicked in. The food was fine and the service was okay. Overall the establishment is clean, but a bit crowded.

This place is always busy but its worth the wait. This outlet was our life saver during load shedding as this outlet is near my house and they have a good generator backup.My favourite here is Grand chicken spicy. Most of the time I take away from here.

This is my next destination for food if I struggle to get Indian food. As usual they have a global process and the taste of the food is almost the same everywhere. Nice place to get some good food when you are in need ;).

If you’re ever wanting a fast, quick and hunger busting place that will fill your belly... this MAC D never fails. I’m crazy over the Cajun Mac chicken. Burger and nuggets.

One of the better McDs in JHB on my opinion, consistent and friendly service. It is quite popular so the queues mean it does take longer to get served in peak times.

I mean sometimes you just have too....don't judge me. Wine, weekend and then McDonald's happens. It's sometimes inevitable. Not a bad choice on a Sunday evening.

I don't think McDonald's was created to rock your taste buds...it's more about providing quick easy access to food at reasonable prices. Their sausage mcmuffin with a hash brown served this purpose ;-)

Not the first time they didn't get my order right at the drive-through. I ordered chicken nuggets with sweet and sour dip and got jalapeño dip which was way too hot for me to eat. <br/>They now offer toasted sandwiches which I think is a great addition to the menu. But I ordered the toasted cheese and tomato without tomato and guess what? Yip, with tomato. <br/>I always look forward to winter when McDonalds brings back their Cuppacakes. I'm totally addicted to these desserts, but now at R26 a cup, I can't afford to indulge in these a few times a week like I used to. Which is probably a good thing, so thank you McDonalds for hiking the price.

One of the 24 hours place, so gets a lot of people at night, when not many other options around to eat. Besides during night, I do not remember having any food there during day time, so more like a last option place, because the location is quite convenient when you are in sandton area. Staff is quite friendly.

Been here on 3 occasions recently for lunch before an exam. Ate the Grand chicken ranch meal. Food was freshly made and tasty. Very neat and clean. Awesome fast food. Im lovin' it!

Conveniently and inconveniently placed on the corner of rivonia and grayston. It's always busy lunchtime if you want to grab something quick so the queues can be a tad long. If when going to my chiropractor I want something ice cold afterwards I have to go back around the area to drive back in as it's just a few metres from them. Food has always been consistent here luckily.

Breakfast has always been my favorite meal option at McDonalds! Love the Egg McMuffin and of course it can't be complete without the best hash browns!! Consistent meals every time!

Food is standard. Here is a review that is not about the food. But rather the service. <br/><br/>- It's a 24 hour place, and there has never been an issue even when we tried to get food at 5 am in the morning! - It's a drive in place that solves the problem of getting off the car and waiting for food. I've tried a few other drive in places - but this one was decent! Service is quick. It's easy to communicate with the people who take down your answers. And you'll be driving away within minutes if not for a long queue, which often happens. <br/><br/>Bottomline : Drive ins are a boon!

As a Franchise goes... They should all have the same standards. And this McCafé certainly doesn't. Products should look and taste the same. After all, its the exact same ingredients. The only difference is the training.

A rock n roll McDonald's! Service is often slow in the drive through and you need to wait for food. Otherwise it is a great Mac, always have stock of ice cream and never had a problem there. Food of a good standard.

Oh yes. The rock 'n roll Mcdonalds. Probably the flagship McDonalds in South-Africa. The last refuge for the late worker in Sandton, when all other fast-food outlets are closed and you need to finish that report but your tummy keeps growling at you. Oh Yes. Then you head down the yellow brick road to stuff your face with a McFeast Deluxe and a foamy milkshake. This is a McDonalds, yes, and you will hate yourself for going there for the next five days, but this is the best McDonalds in the country. They play oldie music. They have cake and stuff. They are friendly. They are close. Oh Yes.

purchased kiddies meals 1 chicken nuggets and one chicken burger got a cheese burger in place of the chicken disgusted as we do not eat beef my dog was overjoyed as he got a cheeseburger to eat

When in need of a quite bite to eat, McDonald's is my go-to fast food outlet. I love the rock cafe theme as it gives the place more personality than the ordinary McDonald's. There is free wifi so you can catch up on work (or play) whilst eating. <br/><br/>Beware of lunch time rush hour though. It is easily accessible for professionals in Sandton to have lunch there so it gets really busy which means you have to wait in a queue especially if you're driving thru
