Had lunch today at this place. Soup was delicious. The service was very good. The place is very cozy. Beautiful building and nicely decorated. The owner has beautiful gifts on display. Well organized.

We had the best chocolate and cheese cake at this restaurant. It's a very nice place stop for coffee on your to Cape Town. The service was excellent.
This beautiful restaurant has an arty and nostalgic feel to it. It is situated in the beautiful centre of Montagu in a historic building. The food like smoked springbok carpaccio and grilled aubergine was excellent. It combined many flavours to make for a delightful experience. Moreover, the super friendly owner and his cat made us feel very welcome in this village where the people are incredibly helpful and kind.
Good for a quick stop, a bite and something to drink. Friendly service. The food was good, but some issues with the foam for the coffees.
Welcoming personnel led us to the shady quite yard. Tables inside or at street side would have been an option, too. The menu offers a variety of meat and vegetarian meals. Quality of products and way of cooking/ serving reached our full satisfaction!
Only minus - only one sort of wine (red/ white) can be ordered by glass (generous portion)

Food is excellent, staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is nice. My wife and I were passing through Montagu on our way back to Cape Town, and our meal here was a definite highlight!
As a chef myself I am critical of the food and service when visiting a new resturant. MonTQ food was fantastic and the service very professional. My visit to MonTQ was the highlight on the holiday and I would strongly recommend this resturant as a must visit.

Food was great, we had our annual shoe club there and the interior was beautiful,staff also very friendly,walking distance from centre of town
