I was at spur on Sunday for lunch. Was i ever so sorry i went their. The food is not nice. Im done with Spur use to love their ribs but it taste disgusting. The manager was helpful for the matter and ask if i wanted something else but i didnt have an appetite anymore as the 2nd plate taste the very same. I gave the food away when i got home. I was very upset as that plate cost R160
Best service ever my daughter's bday was a blast on Saturday and everyone was helpful to organize everything thank you very much to the whole staff.

I was at the promenade branch Monday with my daughter, it was lovely, the onion rings was perfect, not fatty or over fried, the chips was perfect and topped up! our burgers was succulent, my mushroom sauce was delicious and topped up, my sundae ice cream was creamy and filled up as usual, my daughters kiddie ice-cream was served very melted but okay everything else was great. I love the consistency, every meal that passed by was the same great portions and up to standard, promenade Spur is theee best Spur in Cape Town and the best Spur in M/Plain! Seriously, we have been disappointed by many spurs recently, we regular spur guest so Promenade Spur for the win, please keep it up!! I love Monday special at Promenade Spur, I will be back Monday with 4 more guest because Promenade Spur is keeping up spur standards!! The kitchen staff is doing really well 👏🏼👏🏼 I am very pleased, I love your branch, the ice-cream is always creamy 🙌🏼 I love ordering the mushroom starter to share and I love that it's consistent and topped up! 🎉
Always great. The managers treat you as family. The new menu is awesome. Probably one of the top 3 Spur restaurant in the Cape. My opinion.

I would like to show my gratitude towards one of your franchises.
The particular franchise that I am mentioning is the Promenade Spur.
I had been attracted to the spur by the wonderful waiters, who had been waiting by the entrance when they had just opened. I was shown a wonderful sitting area where I could sit and the hospitality that each waiter had on checking if we were comfortable was top-notch.
The memorable moment of the visit to the spur was when the manager Porcia came to introduce herself and made us feel even more welcomed. Her friendly and positive energy made me understand why the spur had been pleasant to be dining at. Her energy rubs off on her staff causing the atmosphere to be wonderful.
Thank you Abenaki Spur for the wonderful experience.
I rate it 1000 out of 100 and recommend it to everyone.

Had a wonderful experience, awesome waiter even tho he missed the order a bit but was our fault for chatting away with him too. Steak, burger and drinks was fantastic.
The manager Faeka introduced herself to us. Our waitress was Alletta very friendly and helpful.Her service was Excellent. We received a warm welcome from spur employees from the time we entered untill we left. Within record time we were served with our meals which was delicious. I highly recommend your branch. We'll done ✔
Food preparation is good. I enjoyed the Monday burger special. Service is a bit slow, it took 15 minutes to get a waiter, and 25 minutes to get food. Very friendly and nice people serving.
After burgers we ordered another special, waffles, a cherry on top was missing but it’s ok. Overall, it took a little more than 50 minutes to get food from the time we entered. Food was affordable. Music is good, but loud in volume for my liking, Gqom music.
On Friday evening I ordered 2 x 400g ribs with chips and onion rings for takeout. When we got home the food was not up to par. Chips was hard and cold, onion rings was soggy and the ribs had no sauce on and it also tasted abit off. I called the store and spoke to 2 managers, Ashante and Jackie. They immediately tried to rectify the issue and both of them was friendly and helpful. They offered to replace the meals at my earliest convenience. Their main concern was to rectify the situation and as someone that works in the service industry I can surly say it's rare to find such amazing staff. Their customer service was 5 star. Thank you

I feel your pain when regretting this spur is not halal, but unfortunately everyone cannot be pleased as I sit on the other side of the table....I do not eat at halal restaurants as they do not serve what Spur has become so famous for.......the ribs. Thanks Spur. Love eating there.

I always find that when your order is minimal the waiter backs down a bit thinking that you're probably not going to tip them but not the case at all. I believe in always tipping.
Karren provided exceptional service. She always made sure that we were okay and the food was delicious as well😊
