Kliphotel Country Store - Misgund - Photo album

Random spot on the way to Jeffrey's bay. A super friendly couple, who are the new owners, welcomed us. It's a restaurant, as well shop and hotel. We saw the rooms briefly which were basic, but clean and antique. We had some snacks which were tasty and we enjoyed the fantastic views on the mountains.
Pulled in from the highway and really enjoyed the toasted sandwiches & milkshakes. Super fast service, play area for kids, little shop, loo facilities, shade-covered parking, no crowds. Win.
Lovely place to stop between Port Elizabeth and George on the alternate route from the N2. There are no toll roads and the scenery is really lovely. The Kliphotel Country Store is a beautiful farm style building with a wholesome menu. There are swings, a small jungle gym and a sand pit for the youn
Take a break from your trip and stop, you will not regret it. Affordable basic items on the menu that taste great. The coffee was superb and the hosts engaging and friendly.
I stayed overnight.. Very clean self catering everything you need... Not a 5 star but very basic... If you tired and need to sleep comfortably then you will enjoy this.. Barry and Elmarie very pleasant owners.. I will use this as my pitstop for coffee when traveling to cape Town and back.
Nice Pit Stop for a cup of coffee or tea and a quick snack. Situated on the boundary between Western and Eastern Cape. Very friendly staff. Shop has a bit of everything and the wife enjoyed browsing.
Realy nice place on the long long way...
Always love stopping here to sit next to the fire and drink some taai koffie
We stopped for lunch en route to Eagle's Fall and needed to be sure there's no sugar or flour in the condiments. Best Mushroom sauce I've had in yonks! Tokara's loss and Route 62's gain! VĂ©ry enjoyable!!
Great place to visit on a fairly desolate road. Very good toasted sandwiches. Lots of jams and pickles on sale.
Absolutely beautiful place with delicious breakfast and lunch. Shop is a little boring though. Coffee is better than Tribeca or Lucky Bread in Pretoria.
What a lovely place to stop on route 62: super friendly people, relaxing atmosphere AND really great food. Enjoyed a tasty omelette and a pot of Earl Grey. Highly recommended
Had a toastie sandwich and it was really good. Great place to stop and pick up a little gift or get something to eat along the route R62.
Wonderfull place to visit. Very friendly owners with a wealth of knowledge about the area
Lovely. Peaceful. Friendly assistance received. Lots of eclectic things for sale. Good prices.
Very glad we stopped here. For a country hotel...we enjoyed it. Very friendly service from Elvidene.
