Review Some Like It Spicy - Milnerton

Food that tastes like home. Well-balanced flavour, good portion size, packaging that makes it easy to eat out of or dish into a plate. They have a sit-down area in their shop, and also sell spices, frozen samosa par, patha, sausage, fresh chicken, they also sell a selection of sweets, biscuits, pickles and fresh veg. Really just such a treat!

You want a spicy Durban curry then look no further. Just had the mutton quarter bunny chow which was absolutely delicious and reminded me of my Durban years. Next time it will be the chicken bunny. Well done guys

After new management took over the food and customer service has been great, it's the proper Durban food.

Just had a fantastic, proper bunny and it is great! Definitely my new Indian place now. Good, legit Durban indian food here. Not a bad menu, and a nice sit down place as well. And you can buy all you curry spices here, have it mixed as well. Great little place to visit and know!

The best Durban curry in Cape Town is The Burner in Bellville. Big portions with lots of meat and gravy at a reasonable price (R65 for mutton bunny at the moment). They opening another store in Century City on the 1st May 2019.

They make very good curry and a nice variety of samoosas. The manager Michelle who maintains a good standard is on leave at present and the stand in manager has now clue of standards. The kitchen staff are burning food items like toasted sandwiches and samoosas, deep fryer oil is excessively hot. This over fries samoosas and makes the fillings dry and the purr bitter.

Food is really good but you need to watch the prices as they overcharge on items from what they advertise. I got charged R1 extra on every samosa.

Authentic indian cuisine and spice shop. For those of you that want a proper durban curry try this place out. Friendly staff, neat and clean environment and great tasting food! Open 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 4pm on Saturdays

Pretty authentic durban Indian food for Cape town. I would go back. Ordered a biryani once which was okay, and a beans roti the other time which was good.

In my opinion, this is the only place in Cape town that sells authentic Durban curry. The food is really flavourful and I love that they don't compromise on the heat, which most places in Cape Town do. The place is clean and neat and I've only received friendly, accommodating service thus far.

Had the mutton bunny chow which I shared with my dad. A quarter bunny chow is definitely enough to share between two people. The taste was definitely authentic Durban curry. The food came quickly and piping hot. Would go back
