I order something new every time I try their food🙃 I like trying new flavours but I haven't found the one that I'm going to stick too just yet🥢 But all in all the food has some tasty flavours 👌 which number to try next🤔😁

Canal Walk, Century City. This branch is always very busy. But they are very fast and efficient and the food is always amazing so you don’t mind waiting.

This must be one of my absokute favourite, food is delectable, portion sizes are great, but pricey but one pay for quality I suppose. Our branch closed down recently and now I have to travel to Somerset West or Century. Overall the best expetience.

Best Asian dish I've enjoyed in many years. Amazing service and really appreciated the advice and suggestions from the staff. Bravo 🎉

Always tasty! Fresh ingredients! Burst of flavours! Waiting time can be worked on but I'll always say it's worth the wait. Love the packaging- helps food stays warmer for longer. This branch in particular is my absolute favorite! Definitely a taste of Asian cuisine.

Quite fast service, never waited to long for my food. Friendly staff. Really enjoyed my dinner. The portions are huge! I ate half of my food for lunch today. The Mall wasn't busy last night and we easily found a seat in the eating area.

I love Simply Asia's food their service is a bit slow but one can understand that it takes time to make good food

I had the chicken cashew noodle dish and it was yummy. What I love about this store is that you can watch the kitchen staff prepare your meal.

Order often with Mr Delivery. Always enjoy the spicy 514. Sometimes there is a little more oil at the bottom than at other times, which can be off putting to some, but for me, the flavor is always there.

Love love the flavors of Simply Asia! Just a pity when we order here we do have to wait quite a while, even when they aren't so busy.

Picked up quite some take aways here and love watching my food being prepared and the dishes are always the same quality you expect from a Simply Asia. Really no complaints at all I like their food.

Simply Awful. Both my and my husband’s meals were abysmal. Really one of the worst Pad Thai’s I’ve ever had (and I’ve had many). We will never return.

Ordered a Mr D delivery from here and tried to be adventurous by ordering dishes I’ve never had before. First was the spinach garlic chive dumplings. These are not your typical dumplings but are still quite tasty especially when dipped in the chilli sauce that accompanied it. It had a creamy filling and was crispy on the outside. Reminded me of a spinach and feta pie. Next was the Phuket noodles (614) which attracted me cos it has the same sauce as 514. This was definitely an under-whelming dish. Everything seemed to mush together and had a bland texture. I’ll be sticking to my 514 🍜🥡

Simply Asia got really pricey in a short period of time, regardless their food is amazing and worth every penny, I still complain but I still buy it anyway. Theo green curry is delicious I always ask for fresh chilies to give it tat extra kick, and their rice are always cooked to perfection.

This branch is a bit far out for me so I don't visit it as often as the Claremont one. However, despite being tucked away in the mall this place really does the franchise justice. Favourite starters to order include the corn fritters, spring rolls (both chicken and vegetable) and chicken satay. The green and red curries are both great. My favourite noodles are 514, 505 soy noodles, peanut sauce noodles and 523 curry noodles.

So pricey, but yet so tasty. I usually order via one of the delivery apps and so far had no disappointment. I get everyone’s favorite 514 aka cashew chicken and I’ve tried it in two variants- hot and mild. The portion is actually quite filling and the container is so cute.

Hygiene is a huge issue for the Thai Café, the "chef" was coughing and sneezing openly in the food whilst she was busy preparing. this is absolutely disgusting- health inspectors need to see what's happening in that kitchen

This Simply Asia recently rebranded to a Thai Café. Unfortunately my experience wasn't great.

I ordered the Phad Thai with noodles which was tasty, but the prawns were so raw they were still transparent. What a waste.

At first glanced Simply Asia seems expensive but the portion size is enough to make you feel full. I like the fresh flavors and the few option that I did try were great and packed that Asian punch in flavor. I quite liked the tofu option in most dishes to be honest. Overall it's quick simple food - just maybe a bit too oily at times but that's what sir frying is all about. This particular outlet based in a mall doesn't quite have the same restaurant feeling as some other outlets but being wedged between the fast food places it's expected you are not sitting for long.

I waited 45 minutes for my food each time I ordered, with a few being only the 2nd person ordering. The rice was pre-cooked and reheated in the microwave; so I don't understand what took so long. Staff are all standing around talking rather than finishing off customers meals. Not impressed by the service I've received, the food however wasn't bad at all. But not great enough to overlook the long wait.

So we had a 45 minute wait for one take away dish at Simply Asia Canal Walk this evening. Lots of people complaining about long waiting period. After one man threw his toys they added a second cook.

Ordered the Tom Yum prawn dish (622), it was really delicious but at 100 rand for a portion it's quite small. But portion size is a problem I have at all Simply Asia branches.

I'm terribly frustrated by this branch. Usually I don't have a lot of time so I like to call ahead and make an order, so I don't have to wait. The problem is they never answer the phone. Ever..

I asked the "supervisor" - she said that customers need to be served before they answer the phone. This is fair enough BUT - this wasn't peak time (from 4-6pm there are very few customers there) - out of a staff of about 10, she said she was the only one that is able to answer the phone. I stood there, calling on my cellphone, and watched as the phone was being ignored. People just hovering around, not doing anything! It's weird.

I suggest that, out of everyone that works there, you need at least 1 more person that can answer the phone.

Saying that she is the only one able to answer the phone is also an insult to the rest of the people's intelligence. Anyone can answer a phone and take an order. It's not that difficult.

Other than that, the food is quite good, I must say. I'm rating 1 however because the supervisor did not seem to care about what I had to say.

Was in the mood for a healthier take away so opted for Simply Asia. I had the 505 with chicken en yellow noodles, which I always have. Delicious every time.

Not the best i have ever had from this chain, but still pretty good. Had good service and affordable prices. Yummy but not spicy enough. Prefer the tyger valley location.

Always consistent and never have a problem. Their quality is always the same. Like I mean the same. The same. Never changes always the same.

It's noodles people. I mean it's not organic, free range chicken or vegetables hand picked from a farmer named Wilbur. But they are good and I can't complain. If I want a quick take away I'll go here.

Worst simply Asia experience ever. The flavours were off and when it comes to a popular Asian dish like tom yum soup it's important to get that balance. I'm really disappointed as the chain is usually known for its consistency
Jake
Worst service I have ever experienced and food was burnt. Will not recommended nor be a return customer. Waited at least 45 minutes for my food
Stephanie Venter
Can't fault their food quality as it is definitely on par with other Simply Asia branches, but their turnaround time is atrocious. Have waited at leat 40 mins the last 2 times I've ordered take-aways (never big or out-of-the-ordinary orders either). Please work on this because I'm a big Simply Asia fan.
Jade
This is by far my favourite Simply Asia outlet to visit! Their meals are always delicious and we enjoy watching the chef's cooking as we wait. Sometimes we end up waiting a bit long but it has always been worth it. My favourite dishes a are 314 and 514.
Faeema Sader
You are always in for a long wait at this branch on a weekend. I always end up waiting around 45 minutes for my food which is not ideal but is purely because they are just THAT busy. Not a fan of their dim sum, it is pretty flavourless but of course the 514 is always a winner.
