Review Caffe Villagio - Milnerton

All I can say is WOW!!!. This place really blew our mind. The service is so amazing. The food tasted great. The portion sizes are so huge. The presentation was on point. For a little restaurant based in a China town, I didn't expect much. But they proved us wrong. It's definitely better than most restuarnatswe visited whilst in Cape Town. Would highly recommend them. Great job guys.

Very delish and fresh food. Toastie on Rye Bread was lovely. Pricing a bit high, but ultimately worth its value.

So I turned the big 6–0. and boy was I afraid of the unknown! but to my surprise, caffe Villagio made the transitioning into the seniors club, such a breeze. with just two short phone calls and a few correspondence via WhatsApp, My celebration; an ultimate dream come true. professional service, The most beautiful decor and the yummiest food ever. My guess and I were so impressed by the weigh everything came together. we had so much fun. thank you for giving me a day that I can cherish for the rest of my life. We attended a 21st birthday party here and the venue was great. It was fabulous spending time with family and catching up with friends that we haven't seen in a while. The service was good. I enjoyed the creamy prawns and vegetarian lasagne.

This is only a review of the vegan burger I ordered through Orderin. Quite surprisingly one of the best I've had - and such a huge portion! Easily 2 meals. I'll be doing this again.

My favorite place to take a break from work, catch up with friends and have business meetings. The owners and staff are always wonderful and have great suggestions on what to eat. The best macchiato's, cheese cake and pita gyros you'll find.

Ordered two breakfasts - they arrived ice cold, with the exception of one pork sausage (instead of the two as per the menu) which was the only hot item. Clearly the breakfasts were made and left to stand while the one item was organised. Ordered the salted caramel cheesecake, which tasted so strongly of margarine I couldn't eat a bite. And found a hair in the bottom of the coffee cup. The owner was bitterly angry that we were not happy with the food and violently grabbled our plates off the table instead of dealing with the complaint. No apologies for the hair, or the cold food, and frankly that is just unforgiveable. Absolutely shocking. I've been cured of going out to eat altogether.

Definitely 1 of my fav in Milnerton!! Since highschool I used to study there, while having a yummy cuppa coffee or lunch. Been my mom and my spot for years now! The service is always top-notch and the staffs are truly amazing always have a smile on their faces! Their good food stand the test of time.

Arranged a bridal shower at Cafe Villagio. The owner was very friendly and helpful in arranging the function. The value for money was fantastic. The food was well presented and tasted great. The little extras such as serviettes and menus etc were stunning. Definitely would recommend hosting a function here.

The couple who owns this is amazing, so welcoming, helpful and friendly and their breakfasts are great - so are other things, once got catering here which was ACTUALLY PHENOMENAL! ASK ABOUT THEIR CATERING

Went to Cafe Villagio today for the breakfast special. Food was good, although can't really understand why it is needed to pay R5 extra for 50% rye bread.. nevertheless it was very good bread and the breakfast was "clean" on the plate (not oily) which is a big bonus. Chips were fresh, eggs perfectly poached, bacon enough (portion good) and butter of good quality 👍🏻 Coffee had a nice creamy layer which is testament of good coffee. My spoon was however VERY dirty (had hard chocolate on the bottom), but the waitress replaced it with a clean one immediately. Red cappuccino also the best price I've seen in Cape Town at R19. Very friendly staff, although perhaps they could do with one more waitress as they were running around a bit and the place wasn't that full. <br/><br/>All in all, value for money for sure! And a good stop for breakfast or lunch (big menu with lots of options at reasonable prices)

Every Friday we have a team breakfast get-together before work, so this time around we decided to try out Caffe Villagio. <br/><br/>Neatly tucked away in the Sable Square shopping centre sometimes referred to as Chinatown with comfortable outdoor and indoor seating. They have an extensive breakfast menu that caters for all tastebuds which also includes paleo-friendly and gluten-free options. <br/><br/>Their hearty breakfast special is really cheap and great value for money which includes eggs - bacon - tomato - fries - toast. You can substitute your fries for mushrooms as well as the toast for rye or gluten-free for a healthier option. <br/><br/>The paleo union option is delightful with poached eggs, beef and/or pork sausages, mushrooms, avo and tomato. <br/><br/>The cheddermelt stacker - scrumptious with a decent portion of fries topped with bacon, melted<br/>cheese, feta and fried eggs. The smoked salmon croissant is fresh and served with eggs, tomatoes, avo and cream cheese for a flavoursome breakfast. <br/><br/>There is nothing like a sweet and savoury breakfast to excite the tastebuds. Some around the table opted for something different. Delicious french toast served with bacon, cheese and maple syrup. Their crumpets are delightful topped with maple syrup, bacon and camembert. The camembert adds a good element to the dish and can be slightly bigger. <br/><br/>Their slogan "Good food made with love" shines through in the excellent taste, presentation of the food as well as their excellent service.

I love the food here. The menu is so varied and there's plenty of guilt free option. It changes from the usually italian/burger/steak/seafood menus all around. A little something different and yummy. Order the platter!

Great place in the middle of Sable Square. <br/><br/>We decided to stop for breakfast and eggs were cooked well and the staff was friendly. Simple food done simply well. <br/><br/>Even the coffee is done well not burnt like I've found some places do. <br/><br/>What I like about Caffe Villagio is that it's not anywhere near Canal Walk and don't have to stress about the masses there. <br/><br/>

Had a lovely afternoon high tea at this cafe <br/>with a great variety of both sweet and savoury treats. <br/>The spanakopita was my favourite followed closely by the honey and pistachio cupcakes. <br/>Lilia made a great effort to make things festive for us and went to a lot of trouble to decorate the table nicely.<br/>A really good cappuccino is always the winner for me and this it was.<br/>The only down side is the bathrooms are not on the premises.

Good traditional Greek food, great breakfasts, strong coffee and friendly staff. Worth a visit for brunch on Saturday. Try the omelettes! Something for Banters and the health conscious too

We had my wife's baby shower at Caffe Vilagio. From planning with the owners to execution on the day it was the perfect experience. Guests had pastries and coffee and tea on arrival. Later they had a traditional breakfast.<br/><br/>The quality of the food was outstanding. The pastries were delicious. But what makes this place truly amazing are the owners and staff. Without a doubt the best service in Cape Town.

This past weekend i got to meet a friend for a late breakfast at Caffe villagio at Sable Square in Milnerton. They have the most amazing week day specials as well as everyday breakfast specials starting at R24.95 a real steal. You can choose between white , brown or rye toast and the food is always fresh and tasty.<br/><br/>The service is not the fastest but the ladies friendliness makes up for this , many of the waitresses have been their for sometime and in my books that speaks volumes and is great testimony to management.<br/><br/>On this particular day I had the R24.95 breakfast special with a cappuccino and a chocolate brownie which was fresh from the oven and full of heavenly white chocolate chunks (the price was a bit hefty at R35/brownie) but it was moreish none the less.<br/><br/>I will definitely be visiting again as I have before, it's a favorite central meeting spot with the added perk of free parking and China Town.

Caffe Villagio has to feature as one of our all time favorite restaurants, not only is the food top notch with amazing variety and even Paleo friendly options, but it's the atmosphere that brings us back time and time again.
