Nice, relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere with nice outdoor play area. Food was tasty and reasonably priced.

Not a bad place to get a bite to eat. The wait staff are great. Food is good and it's great for kids! Plus, they have chickens running around. What a treat.

I took my son to Lisa's Restaurant on a very windy day. He couldn't play much outside, even though he really wanted to. The kids play area is neat and well kept. It is safe for all toddlers. And, oh my! The food is AMAZING! The BEST chicken burger I have ever had. I will definitely be visiting again.

Lisa was really helpful and polite, personally helped an elderly person get from the car into the restaurant. Her chicken curry was really good, and it was nice to be able to sit outside in the patio, eat, relax and watch the birds. Very peaceful environment.

The restaurant has reasonably priced items. The outdoor playground is fun for the kids. They have a trampoline, jumping castle, see-saws, and more than one jungle gym.

Awesome place to take the kids! Great food and a super large outdoor play area for the kids. Menu is well priced and guaranteed the kids will love the time spent there!

Great place to bring kids to. The service is painfully slow and it was not even a busy day. The food is nothing special but it is well prepared and tasty. Will definitely come here again.

It's an Awesome place to eat at as it's in the plant Nursery behind the Paddocks shoping centre so you can do all you shopping in one place & they also allow you to take your small dogs with you & sit at the tables outside the restaurant so you can enjoy your meal. As an extra bonus this place has WIFI so you can use that aswell & the food is Delicious. I hope you enjoy!

Definitely a great place for breakfast! When you visit Stodels nursery pop in for a brekkies and coffee! They have a beautiful playground for your kids too so it's a win win!

Lovely place for lunch or even just coffee and delicious cake. Great service. Massive play area for kids in a safe environment

Lisa's is the restaurant at Stodels. It has amazing staff and a lovely setting an ambience, but it could be so much more. Today I ordered a combination of foods not on the menu and they happily made it, but in the past service has generally been slow, even when the restaurant wasn't full. There are so many restaurants in the vacinity that I'm sure Lisa's could do more and we could go there more often

Great outdoor play area for kids (not much shade). Coffee and cakes are great. Love the kiddies milkshakes in jars.

Fantastic food, fantastic service and easy to book. I attended a friend"s birthday here on 31 December 2018. I tried to organise my own party for 24/02 , had to pay a deposit of R500 for 12 people or more. I had to cancel unfortunately and Steve got back to me ASAP to aquire my banking details for a refund. Incredible and sad I couldnt get 12 or more friends to attend in the end as I was looking forward to the fab time Steve promised as well as the fab food. Vegetarian options even and the best onion rings ever. Karin Moore

Stodel’s was on the shopping list of Paternoster friends with whom we were meeting up and the obvious choice – and the right one, as it turned out.<br/><br/>Toasted saamies, a chicken salad (loads of meat), a ‘burger and for me a Vooma (V) were the selection and Cristina made sure the cappuccinos were piping hot (so many outlets can’t get this spot-on).<br/><br/>My “two slices of 100% rye bread, greens, cocktail tomatoes, Halloumi, basil pesto and two poached eggs” came exactly as described. Owner Ryan (see pic of him holding up a quirky squeeze bottle of peri-peri sauce) came round to enquire “Was everything OK?” and when I mentioned my eggs weren’t soft as ordered he promptly wanted to remove my place and replace, but I assured him my comment wasn’t criticism per se and thanked him for his quick intervention. So often one gets a wishy-washy, disinterested reaction.<br/><br/>Talking of wishy-washy: a bonus to a good outing was a sudden, albeit short, downpour.<br/><br/>With free WiFi I was able to catch up on social gossip in between appointments.<br/><br/>Definitely an excellent halfway meeting up point with friends.

Popped in for a coffee and chilled on the couches in the corner on a gloomy Saturday morning. Our waitress was friendly and the atmosphere relaxing. There are a few tables inside and a huge play area outside which is great for the kiddies.

Very quiet restaurant. The food was okay...loved the coffee. Overall average experience of the restaurant. Staff was okay as well. I think I'd only go back for the serenity.

This little restaurant inside the garden center is a lovely place to stop and grab a sweet treat and a cup of coffee or a decent meal for that matter. Expect generous portions of homemade easily prepared meals. The cool little twist I think is how they serve their side salad ... come and see for yourself. My favorite so far is their chicken salad.

Not much on the menu for Vegan/Vegetarian! -- kids love the trampoline but was out  of order the day we went... all went OK  until we got the bill and discovered the waitron snuk in a gratuity and left the gratuity section open without informing us that gratuity was already added :( <br/>-- we were 3 adults and 2 kids --- we dine a lot and this is the first time we felt crooked!!

This cute little café is the perfect spot for those looking for a quiet weekend lunch with friends or family. We tend to eat here every time we visit Stodels Nursery - which is often - and we have never had a bad meal. It's such a lovely spot to sit outside in the sun surrounded by greenery sipping on something cold and indulging in one of their meals. I have had everything from soup to their fish and a number of other dishes and they were all equally tasty.<br/><br/>What's more, Lisa's Restaurant expanded recently with a whole amazingly fun section with a fully kitted out jungle gym in a safe area for the little ones, making it ideal for families and birthday parties.

I'm a huge fan of Lisa's. It's great having a delicious little spot like this right up the street and having the Stodel's as the backdrop is great too. The food is delicious, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed. My husband and I often make this our morning breakfast spot on the weekend.

Visited Lisa's for a one year old party. They seemed very accommodating to any party needs. There is a huge area for kids. We ordered toasted sandwiches and chips (chicken mayo, BLT and bacon and egg). I enjoyed my chicken mayo and tasted some of my daughters bacon and egg. The bacon on her bacon and egg was a bit too crispy but they are generous with the amount of bacon and egg. <br/><br/>Service overall was good.

As a keen lover of nurseries l stumbled upon Lisas as a cappuccino for my spouse and a Chai latte for me are always welcome. <br/>A real family restaurant that really caters for kids. The menu is varied and the prices average.<br/>My spouse had the home made chicken pie with a wonderful pastry. She said it was delicious. <br/>I had a beef wrap that was meant to have come with tzatziki.<br/>The beef was tough and the tzatziki was by no means tzatziki.<br/>The food did not all come out at the same time.<br/>I would stop in to grab a bite if l was at the nursery but otherwise not. <br/>I would notgo directly to the restaurant and possibly pop into the nursery.<br/>Really no big draw card to attract me back.

The waitress did not bother greeting us, merely threw menus down on table & walked away. After 15 minutes no one bothered to even take a drinks order so we walked out. Will not be back.

Have been meaning to visit Lisa's for ages and finally did for a late Saturday breakfast. We were served by head waiter, Tomas who was really friendly and attentive. Our breakfasts were both generous in helpings and tasty - great bacon portion! ;) The menu is extensive and well-priced -- definitely a good lunch spot after your shopping at the Stodels garden centre where the restaurant leads in to.<br/>Being a Saturday there were also a few kiddies parties in swing. With the spacious outdoor play area and decked seating area, plus catered party food, Lisa's is an obvious choice for birthdays!

Have been before and the food was convenient but generally underwhelming.<br/><br/>The waitress was friendly, but the service was slow. Very slow even though the place was really empty. <br/><br/>We ordered a chai tea and apparently got a vanilla latte which then turned out to be the chai tea? We had ordered chai here before and it didn't taste the same and sent it back because it tasted bad, but the manager said that they were charging us anyway because they can't reuse the latte/chai tea. We were happy to hear that they didn't reuse returned food though, although I suspect the garnish was second had or just old and bedraggled.<br/><br/>The Aubergine and mozzarella was tasty and they were generous with the cheese. <br/><br/>The chicken wrap was tasty and filling, but nothing special.<br/><br/>Chips were soggy and cold, sandwich was average despite getting the "gourmet."<br/><br/>Overall average, a mixed bag of service and food.

Fantastic family restaurant for any day of the week. Love the fact that they have a different special for every day of the week:) Would recommend this highly, food is delicious and the staff are delightful. Keep up the good work Lisa, we'll be coming by a lot more with the wonderful menu and superb atmosphere that you have at the restaurant.

Really awesome restaurant just outside the City. Great food, friendly staff, worth while .., And there's plenty of space for the kids to play in the outside play park.

Great place if you're looking for a family friendly restaurant. The food is tasty and affordable but ive found on several occasions tgat some items on the menu are "sold out" or temporarily unavailable! Service needs a shake up but overall its a fantastic pkace to relax and let the kids run wild!

Had quite a relaxing morning here with my wife and my toddler malakai ? food wasn't bad, atmosphere was relaxing and dessert was awesome. Even bought some herbs at Stodels on the way out. All round nice place. Especially for kids. Lots of animals to see as well.
