This was a Monday special burger night - buy either a beef or chicken burger - and get one free. The order was very quickly delivered to the table, and mine was a beef burger, which in all truth was delicious. It was served with chips and onion rings. The atmosphere in the place was pleasantly tangible. The price of the evening was undoubtedly great value. The staff were very warm and welcoming. The take away burger arrived swiftly and with happiness at the conclusion of the meal. A very pleasant evening. Parking is available and car guards are in attendance. Well done Mike's Kitchen.
We are on ex-pats, on holiday from UK and didn't know where to go. We were driving through Milnerton and spotted Mike's Kitchen and remembered them from when we were living here so thought why not.
Well... We were greeted at the door and introduced to our waiter Simba. He seated us promptly and was very helpful, offering advice on what to order.
His service was 11/10! I can see why he gets mentioned so much in reviews. He is lovely! Wish we could take him back to England with us and teach the waiters there what fantastic service looks like!
The food... Perfect! I am a big steak fan and had the fillet cooked medium and it came exactly how I asked. The chips were beautiful! Had the perppermint crisp jar for dessert and it was lovely!
Really really enjoyed our meal tonight and so happy we chose to go to MK! Can't praise Simba enough!
Food and service was excellent. Huge portions and real value for money. Will definitley be going to this venue again. Keep it up guys. Awesome date night with hubby.
Nice place with a good vibe. Service was fast and friendly. Burgers tasted great, nicely packaged for take-away's. They could give a bit more sauce with their take-away's. Milkshakes are also very good. Will try them again.

Went to Mike’s Kitchen for their birthday steak special and it was amazing. Great value for money, delish onion rings and lekker chips. We also had the garlic cheesy bread for a starter and it was absolutely lip-smackingly scrumptious. What’s more, the service and staff are friendly and so polite. We cannot wait to go back!
Excellent service from a group of very friendly staff. Wide selection from the menu for various tastes with a supporting good vegetarian offering. Food was prepared and presented quickly and beautifully. The food was very well made and seasoned well. I will definitely be eating here again.
Great family style restaurant. Service was very good, had a misunderstanding with the starter we ordered and the manager came over to apologize and fix it up. Staff is very friendly. My partner and I both had the steaks for our main and we both left very satisfied. Will highly recommend this place for a good meal and awesome service.

Sometimes I'm not all about the formal dining, I like to go to places where I can feel as ease and be myself. Looking at the menu I was so confused between a burger or getting my hands real dirty with a ladies ribs. I ended up with the ladies ribs, and it was to die for. The environment at Mikes Kitchen is so relaxed. Definitely a place I'd visit again to try their burgers.
We went here in December 2016 to celebrate and they didn't disappoint. My husband took on the challenge of eating their biggest burger and got a jawbreaker cutting board as a momento. The food was delicious, the portion size was generous, it was cooked to our specs and the service was super efficient and friendly. They go that extra mile further than the standard typical family restaurant. We will definitely be going back.

A nice quiet dinner on a Sunday evening at Mikes Kitchen Milnerton. Excellent service and food. Finally found good Eisbein and calamari.Also recommend the cheesecake for dessert and milkshakes are AWESOMEWe will definitely be back for more. Also nice to park so close to the entrance so that when I overeat I can just fall into the car :)Well done guys.
Always come here for a quick bite to eat while. The food has always been consistent and there breakfast is very good. Its a great little restaurant that has been around for year and it's popular among the locals in Milnerton.
This has become our go to place, we have had the privilege to have Grace as our waitress, she goes above and beyond for the customers, as my daughter said, she loved our waitress. Thank you Grace.

Ample parking available,our seating had to be moved to a different side in the restaurant,but I didn't mind as the lady phoned me prior to us arriving to the restaurant.Absolutely great service, amazing atmosphere,and the one thing that stood out for me,is that my children had free access to the playground and the play area☺️☺️. Definitely the place to go.Food portioning is absolutely great,texture of food is perfect.Thank you for your service.
We were at Mikes Kitchen Milnerton this afternoon, We spent a few hours there, feeling at home. Grace our waitress was absolutely helpful and on the ball. We were welcomed as usual by the manageress Donna, who also kept checking up on us. :) Thank you Donna and Grace you guys are stars. We will be back soon!

This is surely one of the most kid-friendly restaurants in Cape Town as it offers two amazing play areas inside and outside where the kids can keep themselves busy.
The outside area is equipped with a huge jungle gym that features 3 slides. There is also a trampoline and space to run around.
The indoor playground has a little crafting table, a couple of machines and computer games. So it's perfect for kids of all ages and they surely won't get bored.
The menu is quite extensive and you'll basically find everything on there. Salads, steaks, burgers, light meals, kiddies options...you name it.
The staff was also super friendly and helped me out with 2x R10 notes so that the kids could try the claw machine. The best part: every game is a winner - so you'll definitely get something out and your money is not wasted!

Birthday special value for money. Service slow. Nobody at reception upon arrival. Waited at least 10 minutes to be served (had to call a waiter). Had to ask for cutlery when the food arrived. Some of waiters not friendly. It seemed that they were unhappy to be there. Perhaps more hospitality training by management. Great, revamped venue with lots of free parking. A wonderful place to have a meal with your partner, friend(s) and relatives. Good venue also for small functions. Went there with my fam and had a great experience. Now I'm addicted...the staff is lovely and is swift in giving you attention. Special thanks to Grace, who always makes us feel great...would recommend it to everyone any day any time. I love coming to eat breakfast at Mike's Kitchen, the waiters always take care of you they are professional and nice no fake smiles plus manager is funny and sweet really a people's person and the food is just really mouthful, it's so satisfying. I had the Roustic porch breakfast abd thoroughly enjoyed it cause it has my fav cheese griller 😋😀
After so many years later dining at Mike's Kitchen was a absolute delight. Food was delicious. Mother inlaw was happy with her meal. Will definitely visiting again. Pity we dont have one closer to Simon's Town
