Review Tashas Canal Walk - Milnerton

The food preparation and presentation at Tashas was good, but the service from Claude was better and he really lifted the experience. It was a busy Saturday, but the service was sharp and we had a lovely table in the sun (though the restaurant is inside the mall). The ambience was relaxed despite the number of people in the mall and we never felt rushed. The restaurant caters for groups as well as people dining alone without it looking incongruous.

Pink drinks anyone? Tasha has a divine Turkish delight cocktail which for me is such a winner! Thank you for the great food and service every time we have visited.

Great spot well done fam. Canal walk has great Wi-Fi. It’s not kid friendly or dog friendly. Customer service was awesome. Food was yummy. The potatoes rosti was soggy.

Cosy boutique style setting with beautiful decor. Unique dishes to choose from for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Non alcoholic drinks and cocktails available . Try their rose granita as well as the cucumber and mint granita. Delicious!! Very popular place to dine. There was a queue for people to be seated the entire time I was present. Had the prego steak roll with fries, nice and spicy. Great service from staff, very attentive and quick as well, even on their busier days. Will definitely return.

The experience was great. The red velvet cake was delicious and moist. The facility is very comfortable and staff are very helpful.

Very wide menu, quick service, and friendly staff. I enjoyed a thick, delicious strawberry milkshake and a tasty juicy beef burger (I asked for the patty to be medium-rare, and they delivered). I also ordered a carrot cake to-go, and I absolutely enjoyed it at home. Will definitely return :).

Food and service is always on point at the Tashas at Canal Walk. We had Hummus on Otast and Liver on toast which were both delicious with decent sized portions. Coffee is perfectly made and the service is excellent. The screaming babies and kids running around ruined the atmosphere as this isn’t a Spur.

Used to frequent most of the Tashas in Joburg and can say that this one is my favourite. Love the plush velvet couches, the service is always great and the food served up beautifully and portions large. In a mall, but feels like it isn't. Neen a few times in the last few weeks and makes the trek to Canal Walk more pleasant. No need to explain the dishes they look and taste amazing. *The chicken dish (Rodeo Drive) usually comes on health bread, I opted for ciabatta which was huge so portion looks a bit spread out but it is huge portion.

The food was deliciously to die for! Wow! The food is of an exceptionally high quality. The service was out of this world! The ambiance is great. The wait staff has clearly received outstanding training and they also get treated well. It certainly reflects in their conduct. I can not compliment Tasha's Canal Walk any more because it would become ridiculous. Do yourself a favor, get there and see for yourself. ☆☆☆☆☆

I forgot how good their Prego steak is …. And they happy to make it without the bun so you can cut down in the carbs !!! And Oh Lordy that brioche French toast… Both to die for… Wonderful service from Lucky…. And the rest of the team… Was a great stop for brunch to kick off the new year And of course the decor is as always on point!

Amazing food, professional yet friendly waiters, the bar is set very high ito customer service. An award winning experience every time. Recommended if you love good food and a vibey atmosphere.

Go here often after a run or to grab some breakfast. Staff are attentive and friendly, coffee is nice and their breakfasts are good and reasonably priced. Their Canal Walk specific menu has some lovely food options and I especially love the chili eggs. Poached eggs were perfectly soft and the added avo gave some lovely flavour. Will go again.

Always love the food and the service here. Disappointed that the Lindt hot chocolate was taken off the menu. Definitely a place to pop in and have a meal. Marginally on the expensive side but great quality food, cooked perfectly.

Your decor is lovely but your food is not. I recently ate at your establishment for the first time and ordered an omelette with tomato, bacon, cheese and mushroom filling. How disappointing to receive an omelette full of mostly cold chopped tomatoe, two over cooked hard pieces of bacon, burnt mushrooms and a little bit of melted cheese somewhere in between ; a bland expensive meal of R90+. I doubt I'll recommend you nor return.

Although the service was good and the Granitas was delicious (and relatively well priced), the food we order and received was shockingly overpriced. Very poor value for money for food that is no more than ordinary. A small salmon and avocado bagel for R138 and a small chicken sloppy joe (chicken and coleslaw mainly) for R90. These prices exclude any side dish. There prices are really ridiculous, will not recommend this place to anyone.

Surely Tasha’s Canal Walk was making good profits, since it’s almost always full? So some management guru decided that the best way to improve business would be to reduce the menu items by half, and then to skimp on the trimmings of the remaining items. For example, a “salad” extra is now one or two pieces of lettuce, 5 thinly-sliced pieces of cucumber, 3 thin slivers of avo, and no tomato. My beef burger, which used to include a small bowl of tsatziki, which actually made the dish, now has the latter removed. The reason given: “the menu has changed”! Needless to say, the price hasn’t decreased. Just out of principle, we will not be going back.

This is my favourite restaurant in the whole of the western cape! The food is amazing and the service is honestly the best I have ever experienced. I never review anything but I feel compelled to review this Tasha's specifically as they are just amazing! I come here all the time and the service and food is always excellent. They are never off their game. All the waiting staff deserve a pat on the back and hopefully generous tips from the patrons as well!

Love the chili 🌶 eggs with extra bacon 🥓 the biggest problem with the place is I never get to experience other dishes on the menu because weather it’s breakfast or lunch I keep going to my go to dishes they divine. Service is excellent many places get that wrong too.!
