I orderedthe special for 139....but they brought the starter and the main together.My son odered a dessert... But they didnt bring my own ...i had to ask for it,even though when i sat down i asked for the special which comes with one.The waiter acted suprised like they did not know im supposes to get a dessert.The food was amazing though

Lady Gaga was my waitress, I dined alone and she consistently checked on me and made small talk. The food was RocoLicious as usual! I was disappointed that they had changed the way they served the nachos as I was craving that cheesy gooey sauce however Lady Gaga suggested the feta bombs on the side and it totally hit the spot! Thank you Lady Gaga for being incredibly friendly!

Enjoyed nice diner Kids enjoyed like anything. Why can't we get s customised sauce as all brands of Nandos. Think about it .

Nice place - Nice waitress- lunchtime not busy. But Burger was only semi warm at best. Disappointed normally good- According To waitress, she hadn’t left it too long after cooking. To bring to me semi warm is how it’s cooked!! 😂

I wish there was a half point option... It's more than a 3 but not quite 4, its generally very busy and loud at times making the waiting time for a table and food a bit long. The food is on par and what you have come to expect from the Rocomammas brand.

Chicken wings were literally straight out the fridge and cold. The manager brought out replacements and said simply “now they are warmer...” <br/>I will never return to this restaurant. <br/>

Yes a new kid on the block is making noice. The place is swamped with millennials and they surely know how to cater to them - by providing your own selfie stick ! Their cheese fries are delicious and their burgers and ribs are to die for! Shame I don’t have a pic of the ribs but I must’ve ordered them every time I’ve been there. Their candyliscious is a drink that is a dessert on its own. Love this place and highly recommend to go there.

I liked creating my own burger, It's really popular so it gets very crowded, loved the (not oily) fries. Their wings are kind of still hot even served mild, still maybe some of the best I've had. Service not that quick.

All I can say is FOODGASM!!!! We waited a long time for the waffle but when it came it was super fresh and warm, drenched in chocolate and more Choc chips inside!! Because we waited so long - it was free! So thank you to the manager and waiter who apologised and checked up on us frequently 👍

What happened to rocomamas? It got shit thats what happened.<br/>They just sloppy. Its like they don't care about the food anymore, theres no more passion that i used to feel when going to the one in fourways.<br/>Slapped together without a care. I'm not impressed.<br/>The service is fine though. The staff is friendly enough and the mgr offered me a free burger because mine was disappointing, but why would i want another disappointing burger?

Had a great time here last night. Overcommitted on many levels but I had ample help in finishing my food. We ordered the chicken wings (peri peri and the mofo versions). The latter is not for the faint hearted. Had a downsized (100g) beef burger with cheese (Emmental) and chilli. It was delicious. The waffles were really good:) Food took a while to get to us but it was worth it.

I'm willing to put my head on a block right now and say that Rocomamas have some of the best fries in town. <br/>This time around I opted for the Cheese and Bacon Burger. <br/><br/>My only gripe with this place is that orders often take forever

RocoMamas is my favourite fast food burger joint. The BCG is a wonderful combo. The service at the mall of africa branch has been excellent.

Nachos are delicious. Friendly staff. The menu is difficult to read and the music they play is loud. However if it's for you, you will definitely enjoy the atmosphere. It's so energetic, and isn't like your usual fast food outlets. I'd definitely come back for the food.

It's difficult to find a place that makes better french fries than Rocomamas...add some cheese and it's awesome; adding chili is just the cherry on top. I also had their Buffalo chicken wings with blue cheese dip...I really enjoy the hot flavour.

Went here for a quick catchup with a friend. Was a good vibe with friendly service.<br/><br/>I had the special 3 which was a cheddar, salsa and nacho burger. Really enjoyed it overall. Also had the wings with flavour X which was a sweet chilli fire sauce. Definitely not for the faint of heart. The most amazing thing was the cheesy fries, it was the highlight of my night and it's really addictive.

The chips were soggy on 2 out of 3 of the meals, the burgers were all perfect. They got the one order of wine was incorrect. The village salad came very late. Luckily Tumi, the manager was very good. Unfortunately he is leaving to go back to another branch.

Wow what a delightfull experience....the choices are vast with nothing they are not willing to do for you.<br/><br/>Friendly advice is to have the coctail menu available for customers as as newcommers we did not know it was available.<br/><br/>Well long story short the food was great and the vibe wow.

Not being a huge fan of their smashburgers, we decided to try out some other menu items..and I must say I really enjoyed our meal!! We had peri peri chicken wings with a blue cheese dip, some pork ribs, shoestring fries and a really good spicy coleslaw with bacon bits.

I was here with my brother and we received good service. The food was really good and I'll definitely be back. Rocomamas is always my first pick when it comes to burgers.

Our next burger quest to finding the best burgers! Hubby had the cheese bacon burger and I had the cheese and mushroom burger! Store was full and we sat at the benches! Awesome vibe! Burger were a good size and very tasty! Ordered nachos classic and was very nice! Overall a good experience and one of the places that we would come back ! Well done guys! Service was also quick with friendly and wide awake waiter.

Roco mamas is never a bad idea. I always order the wings with blue cheese dip - amaze balls. Tried the burger with a salsa filling for he first time, it was quite nice.

Rocomamas are hard to rate - to me they fall into a grey area between the fast food burger outlets (e.g. Steers) and burger restaurants (e.g. Hudsons). They do a lot quite well - like milkshakes and toppings and the size of their chip portions - and are good value for money, but ultimately their burger just isn't that good in my opinion. So, if you want the best fast-food burger, definitely pick Rocomamas. If you want a burger restaurant, I'm not sure that they'll hit the spot. Their consistency, however, should be applauded as I have had the same standard of food across three different branches, so they deliver reliability.

Excellent food (if you're into burgers and wings), excellent craft beer, service was quite prompt despite the fact that it was a busy time, all in all a very positive experience! Only problem my colleague wished the MoFo wing sauce was hotter.... :)

This was quite a disappointment. I thought all the branches would be similar. But I would say hands down the Centurion lifestyle Mall branch is the best with Irene a close second. Avoid this one.

Till date the best burgers I have ever had is in rocomammas centurion lifestyle center. So expected the same with other places but it is not the same. Rocomamas , mall of Africa turned really bad choice for me. The burgers were cold and no taste and the patty was not tasty. Had a bad experience.

Had the chicken burger was good but sadly could not taste the chicken, hot wings are divine though. On the down side waiters are to busy chasing their tales and forget the orders.

My dad always says if you go to a steak place eat steak ... and in this case I think its true. Rocomamas has added alot of other items onto the menu since the days of their flag ship store. We have visited a few other branches and while the ribs and wings and hit and miss the burgers are consistently great. Our table decided to order the ribs, wings, nachos and a burger. Nachos came to the table burnt so I sent it back and I really dont think they remade it, I think that they just replaced the burnt nachos reheated everything which is why my avo was warm and cream cheese was melted. We tried the wings with the jack daniels dressing and while there was nothing wrong with them I just didnt enjoy anything about them. Very few places serve beef ribs and the fiance is a huge fan of them so when ever we see them on a menu I know thats what he will be ordering. Rocos ribs are abit pricey for the kind of place it is. R270 for a full rack of ribs. Everything except the burgers were disappointing and in future I will be sticking to the burgers. <br/>...

If what you want is a juicy burger, you've come to the right place.  Their burgers are consistent to the other branches, however it is always packed.<br/>The food does not disappoint, however the service is poor.  Last night we took our newphews for a movie and dinner at Rocommamas. We were asked to move tables 3 times so that they could accommodate other guests, and we were seated at a dirty table.  We were promised a free beer, but got charged for all.  We specifically asked if the salsa burger had peppers in it, Tina Turner (our not so simply the best waitress) advised that it most definitely did not, however it did. One of the managers came to ask us what's wrong, but he didn't even apologise or hear us out.  A much friendlier manager came through, she was friendly, but damage was done, apology accepted of course, but i wouldn't think twice of going there again when the place is so full.

I love rocomammas! This branch is always busy. The line winds around the store.<br/>I love their juicy flavourful burgers and their crispy thin chips.<br/>Their beer selection is also a wonderful pairing to their food.<br/>I've increased my rating to 3.5 because of the great service I received. Great service will keep me going back to a spot, not even the food, since great service is so hard to find. <br/>Having worked in hospitality and restuarant industries, I have a habit of spotting out a good or badly run restuarant and who is not doing their job. its a hard habit to kick.<br/>I immediately spotted rocomamas stood out for all the right reasons!<br/><br/>The staff worked like well oiled machines! Everyone knew what they were supposed to do and where to be. The managers were on the ball and visible. No1 was confused or scurrying around. This place ran like clockwork! Food came off quick. One  manager controlled the grill whilst the other tended to guests.<br/>It's rare to see hands on management in the trenches these days as opposed to delegation. The floor manager was on the ball, checking up on guests, clearing ,sweeping etc.<br/>Guests were ushered in  quickly and attended to after being seated.<br/> no matter what.<br/><br/>This place operationally stands out for me. Well done. <br/><br/>Foodwise we had wings, burgers and cheesy chips. All yummy. <br/>The roco sauce (bbq+jack Daniels ) on the wings, I enjoyed. Burgers were great as always, I tried the cheese bomb 1.<br/> I didn't have the courage to try their amazing milkshakes in case I didn't finish my meal , but I'd love to try it another time, they looked great . As well as the chilli con carne (I'm a sucker for Mexican food! )

Fresh, delicious food with impeccable service - this busy restaurant is fun and fab! The chicken wings are always delicious (yummy BBQ sauce basting a must) and salad is fresh and bursting with Greek flavours - franchise is willing to go the extra mile for special requests. The only thing KevFabFood missed was the delicious bourbon sauce - not sure why it's off the menu.

I still love the delicious fries, the great service and now the new range of scrumptious milkshakes on offer. Peanut butter, death by chocolate and candy flavours offer something amazing in the line of milkshakes. Don't tackle these shakes unless you're starving. They're also not diet-friendly.

Again a fantastic Roco's experience:<br/><br/>Never in my life have I been to a restaurant that's filled to capacity (with a 15 minutes waiting list) that is as friendly, where service is near-perfect, where the food arrives in record time and is that fresh and hot. Some say that Roco's is far from the best burger because they're overpriced, the burgers are small, etc. In my honest opinion - it definitely is, so much so that it's in my top 5, here's why; 10/10 times you get exactly what you expect (regardless of branch), the staff are always friendly and that burger has so much of flavour. The one criticism I have is that there's only one (unisex) restroom. Apart from that - an amazing experience - AGAIN!

We went for lunch a couple of weeks ago. The food at this Rocomamas is so great! The service is friendly and lively. A really beautiful setting in the Mall of Africa. <br/><br/>My personal favourites are the mushroom swizz burger and the BBQ chicken wings. Both great. <br/><br/>This branch certainly lives up to my expectations of what Rocomamas is all about. 🍟🍔

If you're fan of spice then try Chilly bomb its awesome. Its with nice spices with many add ons in it. You can also make your own burger..I recommend Rocomamas.<br/>

Well. Everybody is talking about Rocomamas. . So we set out to have a look see. After a bacon cheese guac burger. And wow. Smashed burger was heaven in a bun. Really a choice of chicken and beef was tops. Yes I had both. Very tender and rich in flavour. A thumbs up to the chef. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Well done team. Good job on making a name for yourselves..

You know what you are getting when you go to Rocomamas. An amazing burger with a world of toppings at your beck and call. For a change, I went to this outlet for breakfast. The hot drinks are pretty average. The breakfast options have 3 choices and the husband and I went with The Hangover and The Hobo. Breakfast was slow to arrive to our table - long after my hot chocolate was finished and I am a slow drinker. But it was delicious. You can't go wrong with a portion of crispy chips alongside your breakfast. The location sucks for winter. You aren't going to find a warm spot so be prepared to deal with the chill even indoors.

Great service and friendly staff. Meals are always fresh and tasty from the burgers, wings, ribs to the spicy fries, love the addition of a breakfast menu perfect for a hangover cure. Bonus: Lavazza coffee.

The best Rocomamas burger I have yet to have devoured I enjoy at Rocomamas, Mall of Africa! Rocomamas, Mall of Africa sports a great view of the outside deck and of the music, water fountain and lights show which begins at 7pm daily. I have created a variety of my own burgers at many of their branches but have to concede defeat to the Rockstar burger.<br/>Service and prices are not bad and a small portion of curly fires is big enough to share if you're both eating mains. <br/>Rocomamas is well worth a visit.

The pictures are blurry because I was tooo hungry to focus! <br/><br/>Rocomama's is like a cross between fast food and a family restaurant with menus where you order your own meals (tick carefully and be careful because if you cross something out because it seems they often still see it as ticked). The burger variety is massive with everything from beef to chicken with various toppings or a build-your-own option. There are different sizes of burgers as well and a few running specials on the big boards. <br/><br/>We were a large group so tried just about everything on the menu. The spicy chicken wings were craaaazy hot, not a joke. The chips have a nice spice unique to the franchise and markedly unlike Steers or other franchise spices. <br/>The burgers are very good indeed, I had a chicken but most people opted for beef. In my opinion if there's anything to complain about it's the "smashed" patties that Rocomama's prides itself on. The smashed patties is probably fantastic for beef but it made the chicken quite stringy and dry. I also wondered for quite a time how it's smashed. A meat hammer? Hands? A spatula? Is it sliced after cooking and then put back together? Doesn't matter really. But next time I'll rather go for the beef. <br/><br/>All in all a very decently priced meal, with a very chilled vibe suitable for kids and adults. Service was fast enough and the food was tasty. The milkshakes are really nice as well. Décor is vibrant and lively, go early on the weekends. <br/>

You can always rely on Rocomamas for a good experience, provided you can get seating. I was fortunate to go a they slowest time on a Monday afternoon. The service was great and the food was to my expectations. It is quite a chilled environment.

Finally braving the Mall of Africa, it's easy to work up a hunger. Visiting this new branch which has a lovely large layout with both indoor and covered outside sections to choose from. The kitchen is open so you can catch all the action, and there is lots of it. It's noisy but personally I like that. The staff are incredible! Managerial and waitron staff are efficient, friendly and really on the ball. They also know the menu well. Try their current specials, good value and you won't be disappointed. I had the no 2: Wild Bill or you can build your own burger. Side orders are generous. A nice oasis as you carry on your shopping journey. RocoMamas

Good service and good food! The food arrived really promptly. My husband really enjoyed the ribs. I had not wins and they delivered on their promise of being extra effing hot!

This branch is located in the food court of the new Mall of Africa, and it is considerably larger than the other branches I have been to before! <br/><br/>Service was really good as we were constantly being attended to even with the super busy, super packed day it was. <br/><br/>To eat we had the trusted Mushroom Swizz, the Empire State burger-which is on promotion at the moment- and spicy coleslaw on the side. I've tried the Mushroom Swizz at two other branches and it was not nearly up to par in comparison. The burger was really dry and didn't have much flavour to it at all. But the Empire State on the other hand was absolutely delicious. <br/><br/>We also got the Nutella and Milkybar flapjacks to go, which I didn't have myself but was told they were too sweet and just mediocre. <br/><br/>All in all, it was a good meal, just some kinks to fix here and there
