Review Coffee Exchange - Midrand

I'd much rather grab a coffee here than 98% of the big franchise coffee shops. The "City Blend" packs a punch and has depth of flavour; no bitter after-taste (I took 3 x shots in my small Americano as I like it strong). They are competitively priced. The present venue is a 'coffee cart' sort of vibe, they have a table and a few chairs but not meant for a lengthy sit down. Milk Box in fourways mall also utilize their coffee beans; no other known spots that currently use their beans.

Such friendly and attentive staff, seriously good coffee, WiFi. one of my favorite coffices.

Lovely coffee shop to get some coffee for now as well as for home. They also have quite a few lunch type items on their menu that sounds amazing, but in my opinion it is more of a grab a go kind of coffee shop. They also grind packets of coffee purchased there on your request at no extra charge, which is hard to find. Staff is extremely friendly.

Friendly staff, coffee is not bad, prefer more variety in the house blend. They offer both medium and dark roast and also have a kitchen for Breakfast and lunch/snacks to go with their coffee.

I liked every minute of my coffee stay.. Had a lit of paperwork to do and was entertained by coolness of the place. Clean and hygienic..

Great coffee. Probably best in the area. Little pricey. But they also have some good specials. Highly recommended.

Great coffee especially the Espresso & Americano in a comfortable set up while enjoying the free WiFi and sport on the TV screen. Friendly staff. The area of Parkmore waited long for an authentic coffee shop like this one.

Done right as we always do, the results is a concert of not more than 30 mls of pure sensorial pleasure.

I usually buy sandwiches at the Coffee Exchange in Kyalami and they always taste good. I unfortunately  have a problem with the hygiene factor of the store. The waitresses use their hands to make the food without wearing any gloves. They serve customers and then go back without washing their hands and continue making food without gloves. One of the managers who looked very sick sat in the kitchen without any gloves or mask and this is very unhygienic as well.

Have not eaten here, but always buy my coffee beans and morning coffees here. Excellent selection of beans that one could purchase and it’s freshly ground in the shop per your requirements. Always enjoy the South American and African options. Friendly staff, always ready to help with a very homely feel. Luv this store.

The Coffee Exchange serves the hugest sit down grande cappuccino i have seen in my life. I swear it was almost a litre. Plus it was good coffee plus it was only R33. Crazy value for money. I am impressed. The music is chilled, the decor is a nice simple coffee shop style and the staff are friendly. Why oh why do i live so far away? I would conduct all my business meetings here if it was closer.

Coffee exchange breakfasts aren't bad. In fact, most items are good. But given value for money, the portion size and quality gone into preparing the food leaves much to be desired. If you're looking for a breakfast meal I'd recommend the Spanish omelette but you're not missing much.

Amazing coffee shop! Had a great time drinking my coffee while enjoying the aesthetics of my surrounding. Highly recommend this place for an excellent cup of classic brewed coffee!

Nice stop for a quick warm drink. I have only tried their chai latte - which they make with an actual blend of chai tea, and not flavored syrup, like some establishments. Their usually have a sweet tart, or pastry of the day. Both which I've eaten were delicious (a slice of pecan pie and a square of a rich chocolate deliciousness). <br/>They could be friendlier....

Wow, roasting your coffee in house truly makes a difference. The depth of flavour in the dark roast coffee is unbelievable. <br/><br/>To all coffee lovers this is definitely a place you must try whether you live nearby or just passing by.<br/><br/>The house blend metropolitan is top of my list and will have me going back to buy more and more.<br/><br/>Finally while location may not be ideal the batista make the atmosphere warm and welcoming a great experience for a great coffee

The coffee is disappointing because it tastes burnt, I personally think that a lighter roast should be made available. The coffee comes standard as a double shot which doesn't suit my taste.

Great coffee but that's it. Reception from the owner/manager could have been a lil more warm and welcoming considering we were the only people in the place at 9am on Saturday morning. There is a very limited selection of baked confectionery and foods. I'd probably be back for a take-away coffee if I was in the centre but wouldn't go out of my way if I was on the hunt for a great coffee shop.

Really really good quality coffee. And the crunchy was yum. Cappuccino's are always a win and the team are very friendly. Keep it up - hopefully my new daily fix spot
