Review John Dory's - Middelburg

Moving to Johannesburg, and had to say goodbye to my best friend. Thought we would have lunch at John Dory's. Thank you for the awesome food, and great service. You made the sadness of the day so much more bearable. Nothing like sharing a great meal with a best friend.

I am a frequent traveler and the rule of thumb is that if a place is busy it means that the food and service is good. John Dory's Middelburg is always busy sometimes more than others but it only says one thing the food is always fresh and well prepared.

Well there are a not much to complain about.... Exept the paper straws.... Which most restaurants are using these days. But generally the food is great, with a wide variety of food. Sushi one of my fsvourites are prepaired fresh at Sushi bar. The seafood and red meats are well prepaired. Cold refreshments and good service all round. The restaurant was down sized a while a go, so seating can be limited at times.

Just had a meal at John Dorys, and was not at all impressed. The waitress was very helpful but the chips were soggy and rice tasted stale . Very disappointed �

Food very disappointing two meals arrived way before the other two to start with food was dry and burnt really bad experience
