Review Dukes Burgers - Melville

Really love the vibe and atmosphere. Beautifully designed with great music. Great service from staff 👌🏾 Great variety of burger offering in all meat options. Generous portions and so much chips. The patties are quality meat compared to many burgers in most restaurants. The only fault I found was with the chips, which seemed to be fried in old oil. Otherwise, we all really enjoyed our burgers.

I got the New Yorker with no bbq baste. I throughly enjoyed my burger even though it was slightly over cooked. I also loved the chocolate chip cookie milkshake! I wish I lived nearby so I could eat there more often.

I took the stickers fingers (chicken wings) with plains BBQ sauce and it was delicious! The best BBQ sauce I ever tasted! And the only real chips / fries of our 3 weeks trip in South Africa! My husband took the Jalapeño Burger and it seems that it was also very good !

Juicy burgers with a nice portion of chips😅I love their 12 to 7 special on cocktails. Outdoor seating is very beautiful. Relaxing and very welcoming atmosphere.

The food has always been amazing, even since they were in greenside. If you're going to order milkshakes, first double check if they have enough of the right ice cream - twice I visited and they ran out mid order (leaving some people without), or had to use a weird flavor instead. If you go at a quite time, don't expect them to bother turning on the heater/AC for you, or the music.

My favorite burger joint in Jozi! Fresh and sumptious burgers and they have a gluten free bun too! Best fries ever!! Great and relaxed ambience. Worth it:)

The brisket burger is honestly the best burger I have ever had, amazing prices especially considering the huge portion of chips i received 💯✨ the staff was great and the vaibe was refreshingly homely. See U next week! ❤️

Fantastic as always! It's always wonderful when a restaurant can maintain such a high quality no matter when you eat there or what you have. Great atmosphere, awesome food and very friendly staff. PS. The grown-up milkshakes make life better any day!!

My wife and I have a once a month burger date at Dukes. We absolutely LOVE it! This past Friday, we went for dinner and we had the most wonderful experience! The cocktails were impeccable (We had the Old fashioned and a Long island) really delicious and not watered down at all! The burgers were amazing and delicious as always, but the fries stole the show. They were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The music was also really lovely, laid back, chilled and had us bopping our heads. Truly a wonderful experience. Another thing we noticed is that there is not a high staff turn over, we are greeted by Mary at the door (she has been our waiter every time) and that indicates to me that the staff are treated well. Its a great place, go eat there!

Best burger patties in South Africa and great cocktails

The food was great, I'm only subtracting 1 star because of the behavior of the waitress after me and my friends had finished eating. The total on our bill was R493 and we decided to pay R500. Did the waitress not tell us to pay the R493 that's due instead of R500 because R7 is too little for her? Mind you we are students, we don't work and we told her that but she said she doesn't want our R7 and we should rather pay the R493.

I'm so full!!!! Food was delicious, ambiance was lovely, facilities were clean. However, where the restaurant shines is in its service. Our waiter was an absolute gem and very easy going. Shout out to Keisha. Looking forward to coming back again. P.S. brisket burger is really good! #best_brisket_burger
