Review Tindlovu Berg En Dal - Malelane

Stayed here both in March and October with my parents, my parents wished to take me back after our last visit in 2013, when I was only young, as they wanted me to experience it when I was older, and it lived to the expectations, by far. The hotel had been improved by a lot, and it had even changed significantly (for the better) since our visit in March, the hotel is constantly improving and everywhere you go are friendly faces, the staff are very friendly, the cooks are very professional, very skilled and friendly, the pool maintenance team are excellent! The pool is always perfect, very clean. The rooms were always spotless and the grounds were well looked after, I could go on about how wonderful our stay was, our goodbyes were emotional but we will be back soon.

After a recent stay, rooms were fantastic, everything from service to food is exceptional, but most of all the staff were absolutely amazing. All super professional, helpful, friendly, can't wait for the day we return. They treat us like we are family.

Great views. Food is standard however they can work a bit more on the meat quality. The cost of the rooms are really expensive and it is almost cheaper to stay in the Kruger Park.

If you want a true Kruger Experience then this your place . Situated right at the entrance of Kruger NP , but will a direct side access and view of the Park , direct view of Crocodile River , with a number of resident Hippos in front of the pool . When I stayed we sighted , Giraffe , Water bucks , plains game , cros to name a few . The staff there , will make sure you feel at home , and if it means doing what's not there for you ,they will . The food , wow , the buffet service , you will eat all your life out , experience the best organic meals , organic meat and steak . Child friendly ,for families , the Spa , being refurbished, will be a good hot in Kruger too . Have so much to share , bit you wont regret your stay.

Great location, so close to the Malelane gate. Friendly staff and well manicured gardens. Food choices are good.

Stayed here many times, staff very pleasant and always strive to please, cannot do enough for you. The premises is clean and tidy the pool is lovely.

Very good and complete accommodation service, close to one of the main Krugerpark entrances.

Magical place close to Krugar park gate, on top of a rivere with lots of nature and happy crew. Since we are in the nature, sometime power or water failure are expected. The electric here needs adapter sinc dockets are the old 3 hole.

A beautiful place! You get to see the wildlife while you dinning, a plus for me!

We stayed here one night after we visited tje krugerpark, the sundeck and view is amazing. Rooms are OK as well!

Beautiful location on the river. Only 3 minute drive to Kruger park gate. Grounds are lovely and well maintained. The cabins are rustic, but have everything you need - decent bathrooms with plenty of hot water. Good air conditioning. Best of all was the service. Staff was always very helpful. Dinner on the outside deck at sunset is a beautiful experience. (Wear insect repellent, this is the African bush.)

The staff is friendly the gentleman who checked us in on Saturday he gave us a warm welcome. The Place is clean and the food is delicious by the way it was my second time at the Lodge first time it was on business in 2016, this year I chose to celebrate my birthday there with my husband thank you for making it special by not disappointing me. I would not mind coming for the third time.

Second time visiting the lodge, first was in Sept 2020 and last week. The service is amazing, delicious food and friendly staff, always going an extra mile to assist and make you feel welcome. The outside areas are well kept, clean and gives you an impression of a team that pays close attention to details. The pool area is immaculate. The rooms however, from previous experience seems to be deteriorating in standard. From old leaky toilet, uncomfortable bed, towels are abit old. Please also place warning signs that unaware visitors shouldn’t drink the tap water, similar signs to the one for the Aircon. Other than that, the family thoroughly enjoyed their stay and would definitely visit the lodge again.
