A really good food-stop on the N4 - a nice change from the usual fast food outlets. Plenty of trout-based options on the menu with some classic and vegetarian options too. Really nice views over the trout lake. Service was prompt, food presented nicely and tasty! Would highly recommend.

I had the trout pie which was absolutely delicious and the Berry cheesecake that I literally have not stopped thinking about, it was absolutely marvellous! We got our food very quickly and our waiter was OK but seemed a bit busy and distracted. I love the farm stall on the side as it has got all sorts of confections and the workers there were lovely. All in all, I would highly recommend!

I loved the roosterkoek with salmon and cream cheese. Really tasty. The coffee milkshake was excellent. Restuarant was very busy, but we did not have to wait long for our table. The frontline waiter was an excellent host while we waited. Our waitress was great too. The padstall has a huge variety of gifts and delicious jams etc to buy. So much to choose, range for all ages and preferences.

Great place to stop for a quiet but delicious meal. The staff is a mixed bag, some really quite friendly, others a little indifferent. Can get pretty full on busy weekends, but the trout pie and the berry cheesecake are worth the wait! Pro tip: ask for the specials.

Visiting Milly's is always a must when we in the area or passing through and they do not disappoint. Food was amazing as always and the star dish remains the trout pie.

Can't complain. A must stop on the way to the Kruger. The trout pie is a must. So relaxing to look out onto the dam and see the fish jumping and nature at it's best. Wide variety of food to choose from and lovely coffee to have with big mugs!

Very clean with a great service culture. We stopped to eat something and had a wonderful experience. The facilities are clean and with so many tour groups stopping the focus on clear and respectful service is lovely to see. It was safe and a lovely stop on our road trip. Would recommend anytime!

Food was so so, the trout pie wasn't that great but the vegan food was apparently good. Coffee was bad so I'd refer the nearby coffee shop instead. Service was also so so with a wrong order but corrected quickly. The vibe of the place is very nice with a trout dam surrounding the restaurant and you can apparently buy food for them.

Lovely scenic place to stop off to break the journey. Some special treats in the shop. Loved the trout pie and their coffee. On return journey to JHB was very busy and coffee shop coffee machine was not working. However lovely place by the lake will definitely stop there again

We have stopped here many times on the way to the Lowveld, or the way home. We both had the specialty from the region: trout pancake and trout pie. Both dishes were delicious! The salad choice that came with it, unfortunately did not have a dressing, which is why we gave Milly’s 4 stars this time. The craft beer was also very special and priced well.

The food was fresh and delicious. We tried a local dish Bobotie for the first time. It was yam! The waitress was super friendly and polite. Highly recommend.

Do your part in curbing motor vehicle accidents. Make a pit stop at Millys N4 and refresh yourself whilst you fill up your car. Grab a quick bite, a burger and coffee on the go whilst at it. Or better yet, have a nice relaxed meal whilst overlooking the lake, who knows maybe the fisherman spirit in you will be awakened. If you have 5 minutes to spare, walk barefoot on the lush green lawns and be one with nature at any time of the day. Watch the sun set over the hills or feel the gentle cool morning breeze.
