Review Vida E Caffe - Lanseria

A pleasure to pop in before a flight and unwind from the bustle of getting to the airport, finding parking and checking bags. Always such super friendly service and great coffee!

I just loooove Vida e Caffe!!!! Yesterday we drove to Lanseria Airport for a meeting. I knew I was going to Vida e Caffe, but Hein said when you reach the top of the escalators, both Vida and Kauai usually shouts out and tempt you to buy from them. With my Vitality points I ordered the Peanut Forca smoothie (peanut butter, banana, honey and frozen yoghurt.) Absolutely delicious! Saw the Croburger ... a combo of croissant and bun topped with chicken. Their sandwiches looked fresh and inviting. Individual packets of oat cookies, choc peanuts, snapsticks and almonds also for sale. Friendly staff - fabulous menu - scrumptious to enjoy!

Good experience. Staff are super friendly and lively! Coffee and food is great. Wall plugs available at the smaller tables near the wall for your laptop. Spicy chorizo sandwich is Recommend. A little slow to serve, but worth it.

Food is excellent. Coffee is fantastic. The staff are enthusiastic, and although a bit distracting, calling you over as you get upstairs to give them a try, is commendable. They're driving business for the brand.

I love Vida. Always pop in to grab a snack and a cappuchino. This one being at Lanseria is awesome to fill that hole in your stomach before jumping on the plane. Variety of hot and cold drinks and quick bytes. I had a croissant - was not dissapointed. The cappuchino is also on par with any decent coffee shop. I recommend.

Coffee and service was great. The taste and quality of the muffins do not justify the price charged.

Great service and lots of lovely food items to choose from.

Efficient and friendly staff. The coffee is up to Vida's usual good standards. There is also nice food available here.

Good coffee, croissant was fine. Nothing out of this world/ Got what was expected.

Cafe chain inspired by European street culture, for own-brand coffee, snacks and sweet baked items and always great coffee.

Coffee and food is prepared fresh as per Vida standards, however they seem to be a little under staffed and take long to deliver in orders

Nice fresh bits and delicious sandwiches. Their coffee is the best.

Very friendly staff for 7:30 in the morning! Neo took my order and she was bubbly. The barista and Neo worked together nicely to get orders through quickly. It was packed but they managed the crowds well!

Really disappointed, they forgot to make a third of my order and then used plain milk when I ordered soy. The guys were unhelpful and not friendly.

Got some coffee and hot chocolate at the airport, and tried to include a tip on the credit card, but the gent at the counter informed me that management do not allow waiters to be tipped on credit cards. Presumably this is because there's a card fee. So @ Vida management. This is really unfair to your staff. I'm not sure I can support these sort of business practices.

First time at this establishment/Franchise.

I like this place! Super friendly and enthusiastic staff, cool vibes, and cooler coffee.

Place got full pretty quickly and still maintained it's good mood.

FOOD - nothing to sing home about , but then again it's not their speciality.

Since this was a chance meeting - I'm sure to visit other branches.

Not many good coffee shops around Lanseria area, so Vida at the airport seemed like a spot for great coffee.
The usual shouting and fanfare as with any Vida order is always followed by amazing coffee.
I did not eat as historically vidas food has always been very average and more of the snack variety for me.
Literally had the worst food experience of my life here this morning. It is extremely expensive (I get it, it's at the airport) and the food is terrible.

I ordered a toasted ham, tomato and mozzarella sandwich on wholewheat bread. I received a semi-toasted sandwich which had limp lettuce and cold cheddar cheese, tomato and a tiny sub-par piece of ham on it. This excuse of a toasted sandwich cost me R25-00.

Also order a tiny bacon and cheese quiche which was watery, filled with more spring onions than egg and like a quarter of a strip of bacon on top. This beaut cost R30-00. It was literally smaller than the palm of your hand.

On a positive note, the coffee was good.

If I ever come back to Lanseria to fly somewhere, I would rather starve than eat at this place ever again.

As there aren't many places to go in Lanseria airport while waiting to board, I opted for the first coffee shop I found and I definitely made the right choice. The staff were very friendly and fast. Their cafe mocha was great and the panini wasn't bad either.

While I appreciate the need for speed at an airport restaurant of any kind, my experience here was sub optimal. First off, the place smells like the inside of my nose.

Having ordered a toasted bacon, cheese and egg sandwich and a cafe mocha, the egg was cold & sandwich not toasted.

The coffee however was excellent, let down only by the annoyance of the noise planes landing ever few minutes.
