Review Die Strandloper - Langebaan

We didn't quite know what to expect but this was such a unique experience! It's no fine dining experience, very chilled, eat when they tell you it's ready. Eat a lot! You can take your own drinks, watch them cook and get some braai tips. Well worth the trip to Langebaan and very well priced! (P.S. If you don't like fish, don't go! Also don't fill up on bread and jam in the beginning. Also go with an empty bladder, the bathrooms aren't amazing)

Lovely experience on the beach u watch food get cooked . Was abit windy that's the only damper and then the sand does blow all over ,not the restaurant fault all left to mother nature. But just carry a jacket or jersey and be warned . 10 courses in 4 hrs , I have never eaten so much . Plenty of food great helpings ,friendly staff . Sitting outside amongst other people and enjoying the view and food . You can take your own alcohol with and no corkage fee . They Even supply you with glasses for it . There is also a cash bar on site with limited variety .r370 per person for 10 courses of seafood .note it is cash or eft only no credit facilities . Bookings are a must as they fill up fast with only limited amount of seats available. Lovely experience

I visited Die Strandloper with my girl on my birthday 10/06/23. The experience was very great. We paid R370 for a 10 course meal that was very delicious. The food was very great and I enjoyed the fish and crayfish the most. There was a guy playing guitar and singing for people also. Oh yeah, we had to use mussel shells as cutlery😅. All in all I give it 5 stars. The experience was great

Was fun being able to tick something off my bucket list. There was a great assortment of food, beautiful view and lovely staff! Can recommend for a true West Coast experience.

The experience, atmosphere and food were absolutely amazing!! The hosts are out of this world and Martin is an absolute gem in his guitar.

Local is lekker... From the greeting to the goodbye this place gets it right. With amazing Weskus seafood to views for days and Martin on the vocals you enjoy every moment.

Amazing food, location and people. 10 course fish, seafood, meat. (For only 18€) Every course freshly cooked in front of you. Cash bar with drinks but you can also bring your own drinks. Everybody there is friendly and helpful for them eating there the first time. Great place! One of our favorite stops in South Africa. But please make a reservation! Almost no chance for walk in.
