Hubs and I did a quick pop in, in Lambertsbay, and was looking forward to a lekker breakfast. Needles to say Mad Hatter was an amazing experience. Service and food was top class. I would highly recommend. Whilst we were at it, we decided to order lunch for take out, and it did not dissapointed. The bobotie and cottage pie was absolutely delicious.
This is defnitely a 5 star coffeeshop. Large variety of delicious cakes. Friendly host also. Every time we eat here you feell if you treated yourself. Decor fantastic, toilets very clean and neat. Money well spend.
Great coffee and cakes and amazing service! We stopped when travelling through Lamberts Bay and it was so lovely to chat with Bettina and learn more about the town and area. Will definitely be back next time we are in town!

Bertina and her team made us feel so welcome. It was such a cool experience and the food matched the great attitude of the staff.
Even though they were very busy they were quick with their service and looked after our table well.
The kids enjoyed their milk shakes enormously. The salted caramel milk shakes were a hit. The chips were hot and served with PROPER tomato sauce.

Really cute coffee shop with a variety of food to choose from. Very interesting interiors. A little gem in Lambertsbaai. Stop for coffee and breakfast or lunch. It's worth it.

A visit to Lambert’s Bay is not complete without a visit to the Mad Hatter Coffee Shop. Enjoy local dishes like ‘Vetkoek’ whilst relaxing in the outside seating area. Browse some of the teas and other item on sale. If only passing thru town, make this your halfway stop.

What a wonderful place! A small coffee shop with unique artistic decor that creates a romantic and somewhat theatrical ambience. The coffee was superb (Illy coffee), and the cakes were some of the best, freshly baked on the premises. If you're looking for a coffee shop that stands out above the rest, then this is the place to go. Exceptional quality, friendly service.

When we saw the Illy Coffee sign we had to stop for our favourite coffee. The decor is awesome with niknaks and confectionary on sale. Enjoyed a well prepared breakfast. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Loved the idea of paying it forward by buying a cup of coffee for a stranger.
