Review Mai Thai Sushi - Lakeside

Delicious 😋 Food is incredible. Will def go back to try something new each time I go. Fast, fresh and they deliver. I added some broccoli🥦and cauliflower to them and mixed it all together. Great combo 👌

Great sushi nice and fresh but I'm giving 4 stars because I felt the cashier was rushing me through the purchase.

I have been very sick this week. I have ordered two meals in this last week. Absolute soul food, ❤ fresh, and delicious. Thank you for that. I've been a customer for around 3 years off and on. I've never been let down.

The sushi is excellent. Very good quality for the amount of money. Most of the guests order for take away. We were the only guests inside. But absolutly fine.

Great food nice dining area service is the only downfall but still 10/10 overall

This is an amazing place to eat sushi. The sushi is high quality and is affordable. Most guests choose to get takeaway, but if you choose to dine in the setting is beautiful and quite calming to the eyes with a warm feel. Definitely a place to eat with a loved one or your best bud. I've always come to expect the same good quality of sushi and I've never been disappointed by the service or the food.

Sushi is of the highest quality and super fresh. The wasabi tastes genuine and is not watered down, it's excellent. Love the crispy chicken too, and the curries taste very authentically Thai. We've had a few dishes from here, and they're always made with care and taste amazing. Fantastic value for money. Will go back again for more!

Wow, we were so undecided of where to go for dinner. We almost drove all the way to town for something different. Instead, this place offered us a fantastic platter of sushi. So fresh and tasty. At R220 for the Lakeside platter, it filled the both of us up(Added the menu to the photos). The waitrons were friendly and came at just the right time. The place has a nice, cosy atmosphere. The price for the sushi platter, for what we got, was worth it. Definitely recommended. Stay local! They even do take-away. We'll see you again soon :)

Every time I am in town from the US I always stop by Mai Thai! Great sushi, always fresh. Highly recommend. Friendly staff! Can't go wrong! Enjoy

Hidden GEM in Lake Side (South of Cape Town). Surprisingly super well decorated and very very comfortable to eat in. Take aways are also a great option.I had the Tom Yum soup with Prawns 5/5 absolutely delicious AND my favourite dish of all time Green Chicken Curry whick was the BEST I have ever had 10/10, It was delicious. Basically it's a must to grab a takeaway or eat in Asian chow ✅✅✅✅✅

Addicted to Mai Thai! The sushi and Phad Thai are the best. However, Google as well as the sign on the door say they are open until 10pm but on a few occasions I've driven there, tried called or ordering on UberEats and found the place closed (lights off, doors closed) from 9:30pm. At least accept takeaway orders.

Love this place - excellent value sushi and delicious mains. Great service in a chilled, cosy atmosphere.

Awesome sushi. Always had to go all the way to Blue Route but now I can order and collect closer to home.
