Perfect pitstop on the N1. Fresh and delicious food. Super juicy chicken in wrap and salad. Hot coffee. Friendly service. Super clean restaurant and restrooms. What more do you need? We stopped here twice in 2 months and both times exceeded expectations.

Like many South Africans, we have all grown up with Wimpy as the easy eat-out standard. I have had about 40 years worth of all types of meals from Wimpy. Today, on our work trip from Cape Town, I had a Fully Loaded Dagwood at the Laingsburg Wimpy, at the Engen One Stop. This has been the NICEST meal I have ever had at Wimpy, PERIOD. Compliments to the chef, the waitron and facility management. Bloody well done!
The food quality was really good. Ivy is an exceptional good waiter. She needs to show some restaurants in Cape Town what GREAT service is all about. 10 Stars for her.

Got the rib burger and it was delicious! Chips were crispy and tasty. Coke zero was great and our waitress Johrene was fast and very kind, fantastic waitress. Hangover = cured !!

We ordered breakfast and cappuccinos from Wimpy. We took take-aways because we had a puppy travel companion. The service was good and we waited about 20 minutes. The food was warm and overall a good experience! Yoh, yoh, yoh! Thank you!
