Cup of hot chocolate before the flight to JHB! Service was nice and quick, drink & bill came within minutes - ordered a coconut mocha crunch! Was divine. Will definitely go to other fegos in the future for this drink.

Great service even though they were busy. .requested to sit by a table where I could charge my laptop and they accommodated me on that..my coffee came in less than 5 minutes WOW..great spot to grab a good coffee before ur flight
The breakfast was good. It took a little long but the waiter kept checking on us and giving us an update on the approximate time that our order will be ready. Overall experience was good.
The food was good and arrived relatively fast. Good amount of seats available.
The waiter was friendly and prompt, however, I only saw one waiter so if the cafe gets busy, the service is likely to be slow.
Had an hour and a half before I had to board when I ordered a breakfast and a platter. Food arrived with enough time for me to eat at a somewhat leisurely pace. Portion sizes are generous. Waiter is attentive and friendly. As a reviewer mentioned there is only one waiter - when I was there the restaurant was roughly 40% full but the waiter managed to be attentive to everyone. He has a good system in place. I would not go if the restaurant passes the 50% mark.

I'm at the international departure side of the airport and they didn't have the Mozart cake (which is the best Mozart cake in the world), so they asked the domestic side's Fego to bring a slice. The cake is super fresh, soft and fluffy. Thank you for making my traveling experience so much better! ♡
The menu was standard but included everything you might need. The service was efficient and friendly. Definitely would visit again.
I enjoy a cup of coffee before my flights. Go sit inside at the back and you can charge your phone while you have something to eat. Their toasties and baskets a good choice but depends on how hungry you are. Have been coming to Fego for as long as they are open. Same staff for a long time. Never had any problems with food or service.
I was thrilled to find a Fego Caffe since my nearest branch closed down. The staff here gives speedy and efficient service. The food and beverages are delicious. There is also a screen with flight information which I found helpful.
Fego Caffe has become a preferred pop-in on-route home from business trips in KZN. It is conveniently located to most boarding gate in the domestic departures terminal at King Shaka Airport.
They offer a range of light meals, beverages and cakes. The staff are always welcoming and provides a friendly service. They are used to tight deadlines as many passengers have only a few minutes to grab something to eat before boarding flights.
On a recent trip, I misplaced my phone and accidentally left it behind. When I arrived back in Johannesburg, I called the Caffe and Sameer informed me he found the phone! He went above and beyond to get the phone back to me. He is a honest and kind person!
I will continue to frequent Fego Caffe!
Was a great experience with family. It was clean and food came quickly. Service was kind and efficient. Food was tasty and all of the drinks menu looked very appetising. They are Halal and when the lounges were closed it was a perfect place to have breakfast before a flight.

A small group of us were leaving Durban to return to Australia. We had breakfast at Fego Caffe, King Shaka International Airport,
Shop DDR 07, Domestic Departures, Durban 4029. The food was good and the service was prompt and efficient.
Unknown to me, an iPad was left behind.
2 weeks later I contacted Fego and discovered Sameer had my iPad in safe keeping.
Wow, what can I say!
It's now on it's way back to Australia.
Sameer - thanks again; my holiday safari memories are coming back to me.

Got in and had about 10 minutes to boarding time. The friendly staff got my food ready and packed to go so quickly. Then found flight was delayed. Came back and ordered some tea and a sandwich which came quickly and it was delicious. Fego at King Shaka never disappoints in a crisis. The service is always excellent and the staff is friendly and really efficient. the food is always good too. And it's halaal. You can also charge your phone and computer here if you need to. Very happy and relieved for this place at the airport in Durban.
Service is on the ball and all staff are super friendly, coffee is sooo good, they're super close to the toilets, you have a pretty good view of the runway, you can see your gate.... AND they also have free WiFi!
It doesn't really get much better than this...
Definitely recommend chilling here for a while if you're waiting for your flight.
