What a great place to relax and break away from the rush of getting to the airport and checking in etc. Food is amazing, facilities are clean and tidy.

Overall my guest and I received great service and food was excellent.
One minor shortfall is that the lounge is a bit smaller than OR Tambo lounge, it get full at peak periods.
Its always a pleasure visiting any SLOW Lounge, and the SLOW Lounge at King Shaka Int Airport is no exception. From the front desk to cleaning staff you are treated to the best service imaginable.
The food is always well prepared and displayed. The beverages are hot and cold to your needs.

I am more excited about spending 90 minutes in a comfortable armchair with delicious snacks, a fresh coffee, and a book than I am about the 55 minute flight to follow.

It’s always great to relax in the slow lounge before a flight. The Durban slow lounge is a bit smaller. The service of the staff at the lounges is always on point!
The best SLOW lounge in the country. About as small as Lanseria but delivers Johannesburg level service, far better than Cape Town. Staff are super friendly and constantly looking for ways to be helpful. Food is better than the other three by far. Menu selection is admirable given the small size and

Highly recommend chilling at the SLOW lounge before your flight. Great variety in food & drinks (also catering for those preferring fresh ingredient options like fruits and salads). Beautiful & clean unisex individual toilets.
