Food was ok,not much variety though. No cocktail at the restaurant, they had to get me one from Cafe Vigour(thank goodness to our waiter😅)and it tasted lovely. Not much desert options either.

First came here for a buffet experience and it was perfect. It was not full at all and the food was good. There is quite space for breathing and the staff gets the job done . Definitely prefer this Billy G's than the one in Gold reef city

If you are looking for a home style meal, nothing fancy and a great atmosphere, then Billy G Silverstar is a place to be... the variety is great, and there's plenty of healthy options if you are closely monitoring your diet...

Their Sunday buffets are really the best it does get full bit there's plenty of space to sit. Their food is really nice so be sure to grab their dessert before it runs out. Price for buffet is R210 per person (adults) not sure how much it is for kids

It was a really nice atmosphere. The meals were well made with a wide variety for every palate and preference. It would have been nice if a one drink limit was included in the buffet. However, the staff were quite helpful.

Its a nice place, the food is woww from starters to dessert everthing is perfect. I really enjoyed the buffet sevices the ribs and the liver was to die for, definatly going back for more. Very friendly waiters always asking au okay, do u need something making you feel at home

If you like buffet dinners this is what Billy G is about, lovely variety of puddings, not really any starters other than sushi and some food was enjoyable such as ribs but the beef was tough and dry, same with the potatoes served on the side. Value for money, maybe for some but definitely not the best memorable dining experience at Silverstar Casino

Meh, listen if you like buffets and can chuck down allot of really dry mostly tasteless food, then this is for you. Expect more quantity over quality. It's a buffet, there is a ok variety, veggie options pretty limited, and starters are ok. I guess I'm a food snob and prever quality. But I you want to eat like a king this is for you.

The worst buffet restaurant in gauteng by far!! Bookings are messed up, the food is old, cold and tasteless. Not understaffed but yet no waiter is available to serve. This is without a doubt the worst restauranting experience I have ever had. Not worth the money or the drive. One cant help but wonder how this place is still in operation.

Firstly, service was dismal. After payment was done we waited to be seated until we decided to seat ourselves. Had to ask the manager to get us someone to take our drinks order (that was the only time the waiter came to our table)<br/><br/>Secondly, the food lacks variety. The only great tasting thing was the ribs *sigh* even the jelly tasted bad.<br/><br/>Lastly, I would definitely not recommend using your hard earned money to visit this restaurant rather stay home and have some beans on toast.

It's a buffet restaurant so the early bird catches the early worm, if you know what i mean. Overall experience is good, the salad bar is nice and the variety of meals differs.

Firstly , the staff rarely greeted us. They made us very uncomfortable as they clearly gossiped and made snarky comments about us. No one explained the procedures to us. When we went to dish up our food , everything was nearly finished and cold. The food that we were able to dish up was old and tasteless. Also , might I add that the plates were dirty. I definitely would not visit them as it was a total waste of money.

The worst buffet I have ever had. Very little variety! There are like 7 starches(serious? 7 starches, do you worry that customer don't have food to eat?), 4 meat and 3 hot vegetables and that's about it. The sushi is loosely constructed and overall the presentation of food is unappealing(some of them look like dogs breakfast!) The beef and chicken stews are overcooked and dry. I don't think I will come again for this disappointing buffet restaurant.

Fine! I'm not really into buffets, just find them quite sloppy Billy G wasn't different, the food was just fine, could've just stayed home to be fair. Though the service was fair, one could tell that the waiters & hostess weren't prepared for the pressure & lastly they could do with some music in the background.

Terrible terrible terrible!!!<br/>We came here Saturday night for dinner and it was a disaster!<br/>Firstly the tables were dirty and when we went to dish at the buffet there was hardly anything left, the chefs took there time to refill the various dishes. <br/>I managed to get a piece of chicken (which was dry) and a slice of beef ( which was cold and difficult to cut through) the vegetables were okay but also cold.<br/>For dessert i dished the malva pudding which was dry aswell as cold. <br/>The service is pathetic and very disorganised, this place won't see me again!

Service was not so good. We waited a long time for our drinks to be served. The food was above average . Ribs and praws was excellent. Do not excpect to get real sushi, as their sushi is made from carrot and cucumber.

Had the worst experience of my life at this shithole. Food is served ice cold mushrooms was off. The waiters did not know what to do or where to go. Upon arival my booking witch I made wednesday and confirmed on friday was somehow "lost". My booking was made for 12:00 I was only seated with my people at 12:15. The hostess and manager plumps around like a bunch of headless chickens. The food was not only cold but tasteless and in some cases UNEATABLE. We where a table of 8 guests and not one of us was happy at all infact this was not even a meal fit for a homeless man. Dissapointing dont know how these guys are still running that clownshow<br/>

I absolutely love a buffet, so obviously very excited to try this restaurant out. Hostess at the door was very friendly, but the service was terrible. We waited for cutlery. The restaurant and layout is great nothing wrong there. The food wasn't up to standard, and they ran out of food, I mean seriously for the price you pay HOW do they run out of Food. Pizza was dry, and sushi definitely not fresh.

Service is useless, reception staff are so useless its amazing that this restaurant is still running. Make sure you have loads of time when you come here. Patience is also key

Great staff. Great food. Beautiful beautiful resturant. Catered my huge family on NYE of all days with a smile and with brilliant service. Definitely worth the money.

The food was delicious and the setting was amazing although it did not accommodate a huge family. All in all it was a fun experience and the service was great

The following needs mention: the lady at reception was extremely friendly and welcoming, the rest of the personnel need a bit more enthusiasm. <br/>The table was sticky from previous clientele and no matter how hard you rub, it stayed sticky. The drinks was delivered in average time. The food is edible and that is about the total sum of it. <br/>Would really not recommend or make use of the establishment again.

Let me break it down for you...<br/><br/>The entire experience was appalling. It's 37 degrees and the waiter took nearly 30 minutes to take our order. <br/><br/>The food was average and they only serve buffet which, if you are not a big meat eater, you're restricted to hake. The sushi is terrible- the rice was hard and consisted of crab sticks *horror*.<br/><br/>This place has so much potential but let down by terrible decor, poor service and mediocre food. <br/><br/>Never, ever again.

Food was great, dessert not the best Ive had, but ok. Service for drinks can be better. Overall a very nice family day out and very tasty homemade meals.

Honesty the worst restaurant i have ever been to service is pathetic waiters all look lost.As far as the food goes even worse spinach with sand in, burnt rice,dry chicken,raw and overcooked roast,very nasty sweet potato and not to mention half the food is always finish only scraps left didnt know what to tell my wife was so embarrassed . bad bad bad

The food is good but very simple. What you see is what you get. There is a great variety of choices and their cocktails are amazing! Ask to see what food they have on offer before committing :-)

I wish I had read the reviews before entering Billy G! From the moment we walked in there, the service was appalling, the food sub-standard, veggies undercooked, meat very dry, and burnt malva pudding... Never again!
