Awesome place to have a quick bite. Prices are very reasonable and the menu offers a variety of meals. Food is very tasty and well prepared. I love the atmosphere and you can have a quiet conversation while listening to the German music. Will definitely recommend.

Service was excellent, had watermelon flavoured Gin as a cool down relaxing moment after shopping. It was nicely presented with fresh strawberries that tasted awesome with all the fruity favour's

Quite a surprise. Good quality meat and meat products. The deli part is great, with enough seating inside and out. The menu is extensive and the portions surprisingly big. Good value for money.

My brothers favourite eatery in Wilropark Roodepoort features an extensive range of meats and groceries in the German tradition, some local crafts and sit down meals as well. Despite the German food my brother could get his favorite English Breakfast and as a vegetarian I could get a sandwich and a bucket of chips. Hearty wholesome food. Owners Norman and Gillian are on site assisted by a well trained crew. Service excellence and pricing reasonable with generous portions.

Really nice place to sit down and have breakfast and at the same time shop the butchery. Owners came to greet those sitting in the restaurant section and are friendly- showing how important their customers are. (Customer engagement makes a big difference so well done to them)

Very pleasant for a breakfast of top quality. Unhurried and friendly. Their specials are always great and inexpensive. Upon a recent visit, we saw the new menus. They are great, clear and easy to read. Food as always perfect.

What a lovely place. Well stocked, variety of meats, treats, spices etc. Restaurant serves really yummy food. The friendliest staff ever. Well worth a visit for German meats etc

It's a nice cosy place , with lots of little goodies. We had coffee ,bought some nice honey wine, beautiful thick wooden chopping board and mouth watering eisbein . The owner was very nice and friendly he even gave us tips on how to reheat the eisbein.They were devine and massive that we are them for about 3 days.

Amazing kindness; if owner is kind then staff also kind.That is fact from my experiences. Affordable price, pretty vibe. Neighbors are lucky to have this place.

Great little place, something different and all these weird German products thats sooooo tasty. I would certainly recommend the butchery and food from restaurant.

This German Butchery the the Best Quality meats available in the Westrand, by far! They have no fullers or additives to their meat, unlike other butcheries which add gluten products to food, Norbert's provides the real deal. I definitely recommend them!

Tasty German fare plus general cuisine. Their schnitzel and potato salad is one of my favorites. Very casual atmosphere with an attached delicatessen and take-away section.

I am dissapointed by their service and long waiting times. Was very embarrassed when I took a friend there. We received drinks after our breakfast arrived and the manager was very defensive and said smoothies take very long,you know. The shop can be revamped a bit to be fresher and more modern

Excellent food and service and wonderful value for money!!! Love the burgers! management constantly walking around and checking that the customers are happy????
