Very nice restaurant with friendly staff. The food was affordable and the place had a relaxing atmosphere. I would recommend the chicken strips and their craft beer - well worth the visit.

Great food, good service, nice ambience. Parking is in the street outside. Menu is excellent with diverse choices across the range without being too complex, food was excellently prepared and tasty. Portion sizes are generous, the waitress was very attentive accurate and speedy.
Would have given 5 stars if they still did craft beer, but they stopped it. They may have fired the brewmaster but have kept the chef.
This will be my first time to give a 5 star rating, absolutely fabulous everything!! Third night in a row to eat here and I can honestly say that they exceeded all my expectations as far as taste, affordability and service goes. Absolutely delicious mutton curry (best I've ever had) Pizza made in a real wood fired oven + you can build your own. And chicken fettuccine... just the right amount of everything. Well done guys. We'll definately visit again when we're in Kroonstad.
Great food and excellent value. We were pleasantly surprised how good the Greek salad was. Service was excellent and it's a friendly atmosphere - highly recommended. Good beers too and we are picky!
i followed Anne's review on Google map and found this place. we drive from Cape Town, arrive at 8:40pm hungry and tired. the Watron probably realised that and welcomes us warmly. the food is great and I have no doubt to say, even better than some of the steak house in Cape Town! mushroom crumbled to perfection, medium rare stake are not over cooked, and chicken wings! the chef was kind enough to give us portion bigger than the menu! after a long day of drinking this really put a smile on my face. thank you for the warm hosting!
We drove from Johannesburg to visit our helper who had suffered a stroke and who was celebrating her birthday. Limited for restaurants to go to, we searched and found this lovely little restaurant opposite the Spur. They welcomed us and were so concerned about our helper. We spent a couple of hours there, and even though we were the first to arrive and last to leave, they were happy to stay open for us. On Sundays they serve buffet and this was nice. The home made custard tart the iwners made was absolutely scrumptious. As a quick drive through I'd recommend this restaurant as a first option in Kroinstad. Thank you Oudorp, for welcoming and making my helper and her son feel at home. Much appreciated.

A very nice decent place to go have a sit down meal and a few drinks, owners are very friendly and make you feel welcome when visiting Kroonstad, will definitely go back!!
