Review Umami Restaurant - Kommetjie

Attended a 2 year old's birthday party & everything went incredibly smoothly. The animal encounter area is fenced off & extremely secure so you need not worry about your children. There are plenty of little shops & restaurants for the adults to visit whilst their kids are playing in the enclosed area. Definitely worth the visit. R5 to feed the animals is not much at all & it helps to care for the animals.

We just went for a drive and popped in at Imhoff Farm. What a lovely place, so many places to eat. Lovely farm with lots of animals for the children to enjoy. Place is well maintained with lovely garden and grass area to relax.

Good selection of preserves, baked goods, sauces etc. Nice little outing for tourists and residents alike. There are a couple of restaurants with lovely views.

Great place for the kids to experience farm animals and feed them. We also loved going into all the little shops, and the food at the restaurant was very tasty. Perfect place for a Sunday outing

This is an absolutely stellar place for the family, kids and just a couple looking for some good food and interesting stalls to meander around. Spectacular views of the Noordhoek beach as well as Chapman’s Peak. The chocolate cake is probably the best I’ve ever had! Pizza thing crispy base and delicious too. Were some obnoxious patrons we moved away from but nothing the organisers can do about that. Just eye your table out. Super place 👌🏼

Tranquil garden with delicious food and drinks. Cake and coffee very good. A beautiful setting for lunch.

Always loved a quick stop here but I'm think that it is going to need to come up with something more to attract even more visitors. Been empty the last few visits with less to see & do. Much less animals than before & what I thought would be a new attraction.. The maze.. Also gone. But I enjoy any animal visits non the less. Cake at the coffee shop & the fresh breads are always great!

The Farm Store have quality and delicious food. Excellent menu with variety of healthy options. Wait is too long and battling with insects. Imhoff farm has a lot to offer the family for entertainment. Beer tasting, specialty clothing, restaurants,paintball, play area and more! Check it out!

En route to Kommetjie. Great place for a relaxing Saturday or Sunday breakfast, lunch or afternoon meal. Restaurants, craft shops and farm for children to enjoy. Safe secure farmyard experience. Animals behind fence. Lovely lawn to enjoy with your toddler. Shaded garden to protect you from the sun. Well manicured garden. Check out the nursery for those plants you always wanted. Sufficient public toilets. Ample paved parking. Enjoy a lovely ice cream 🍦 or an icy cold drink. A must stop if you passing by.

One of my favourite places in the Noordhoek area is Imhoff Farm. The variety of things to do ensures that everyone in the group will have a good time. This includes visiting the farm shop which has a wide variety of products available, a wine shop with a great selection of wines to purchase, a petting zoo for the kids, a craft brewery and various shops and restaurants. When we visited we had lunch at the Blue Water Cafe (reviewed separately) and did a beer tasting at the Lakeside Brewing Co (reviewed separately). What I really liked was the big green lawns where kids can run around and play, and one of the other restaurants also had a decent jungle gym. Overall if you are visiting with family or friends, you will have a great time.
