Wonderful setting on a fresh water lake, comforting food that filled the belly, super friendly service that made us feel very welcome. Had a chicken burger and hake.
Situated in Lake Pleasant Living on the banks of the Groenvlei (Green Wetland) is a well hidden gem of a restaurant. Bistro on the Lake offers a menu covering traditional South African dishes and is open from 7am till late. This was our second visit to the restaurant and I am sure it will not be our last.
Ate there once after it was highly recommended. While the steak was fantastic, I expected more than frozen veg warmed up. Give us some real veg! Otherwise it was a nice visit.

We had 4 amazing meals which were all delicious but the Lentil Bobotie was definitely my favorite 😋😋 Staff always friendly and welcoming with a cosy fire place to keep you warm. Great food at a good affordable price, well worth it!!!!
Best pizza in town! Love the olde style pub and resturant vibe. Definitely worth a stop when going through sedgefield.

Enjoyed the pub lunch special, but the best part about this place is that it's very pet-friendly! The bar is pet-friendly and well behaved dogs can spend the night too.
Absolutely delightful. We had calamari which was superb. Sheena so friendly. We will be back.

Cheapest decent pizza's in the area and service is friendly. Though parking at peak times can be a bit difficult.
6 stars if they had 1kg ribs hehe. 500g ribs was the best.
Good food that makes you feel happy. Go try the Ribs or Schnitzel. Yummy!
