Just popped in for some lunch, best decision of the day. There was 6 of us and they were packed but made a table up for us, the incredible service didn't stop there... amazing and super friendly team. We all had Pizza and I can highly recommend the club, add some chicken and its the best pizza going! Really good coffee and the trio of desserts with home made lemon meringue ice cream 👌😍🙌. Huge thanks to all the staff!

The pizza was amazing. I follow Jain diet strictly i.e. No onion and garlic and they customized the pizza for me. I was so happy and satisfied with the food. The taste was amazing. It was very yummy. Must go for all the vegetarians and those who follow Jain diet.

I have not tasted Pizza so good in a long time. I went in because the reviews were great, and I was not disappointed. The best Pizza in Knysna for me and remarkable service!

Very friendly service, nice and cosy terrace but most importantly... the best pizza on the garden route. Thin, not drowning in cheese and clearly made with love.

If you happen to go to knysna make sure you visit Chatters. Their pomodoro pasta was as good as their owners. The restaurant is run by Claire and her family. Believe me when i say Claire is one of the sweetest human i have ever met. I was on a trip to south africa with my family and we happen to visit her restaurant and the warmth in her hospitality took our heart away. They happened to make a special vegetarian Pizza according to our dietary restrictions and it was amazing. The cheese focaccia bread was out of this world. Visit chatters for a beautiful experience in Knysna, you would not regret it. Claire if you are reading this, lets connect.

Great pizza place, the nicest place in Knysna we know of! I really like that you can effectively make your own pizza on top of a normal margarita. If you're craving sweets after the pizza, definitely go for the homemade ice cream. It's delicious, and apparently, the flavours are different each day! Will definitely go here again when we visit SA!

Had the most incredible pizza!! If you're in town you have to try try the "La Jacqueline" pizza and ask them to add Avos to it!!... You can thank me later. Honestly I've been so impressed with Knysna's food 🤤, but this was just next level! They even brought the pizza to our car because my fiancé forgot her mask at home. Will be coming again for sure!

Gluten free pizza was not too bad considering it's SA and not Italy (where we come from)! My husband liked his pizza too. Very good service and nice place, even if small.

We had a lovely meal here on our last night in Knysna. The service was great, and the food was delicious. Their dessert menu looked epic but I was too full to order. The place filled up quite a lot so I would recommend making a reservation.

The best pizza in town! This time I took it one step further and tried the cheesecake which I had with a cappucino - delicious! Its also very close to the Knysna Waterfront so after one's meal, one can wander down to there for a bit of shopping or to sit next to the water.

What an awesome place... from the moment we got there, service was definately 5 star. Our waitor, Lance, was a breath of fresh air and the food was to die for. We will definately be back. What a refreshing experience guys.. absolutely fantastic. Best restaurant in Knysna hands down

We are on holiday from Sydney and tried to find a restaurant who understands the importance of gluten free especially for coeliacs. I am glad to report the food was most amazing and I had a lovely Gluten free pizza with no illness! The waitsaff were attentive and very helpful in accommodating our requests. If you're in Knysna and fancy a great pizza- do not hesitate!

Rob, Clare and his folks are tremendous restaurateurs who understand the importance of quality family service and a superior pizza time after time to groups we have arrived in from 2-30. We regularly frequent Chatters and heartily recommend it to anyone!!

Loved the Pizzas, and the servise but my husband chose wine that cost R412. by mistake without his glasses on. I was the only one amused. We will be back.

Everything made on site fresh, including bases that cater for every intolerance. Pasta is fantastic as well as pizza

This bistro came highly recommended in the internet and seeing as we felt like wood fired pizza we decided to try. It's a beautiful set up on the outside as you enter, with blankets and standing heaters for those were felt chilly. We were seated inside and our waitress came over in a flash. She was friendly, helpful and attentive without hovering around which is something I appreciate. Hubby had a standard classic with olives and anchovies. I had the La Jacqueline, which were later discovered was the owners moms creation. It was a thin crispy base loaded with melted brie with crispy bacon shreds and beautiful generous amounts of green fig preserve. It was simply to die for.<br/><br/>Atmosphere outside was better than inside although i'm glad we chose inside this time.<br/><br/>All and all a fabulous experience which I'll recommend and i'm going back for sure

Pizzas ok but very overpriced. Kids enjoyed it, me I would try somewhere else. The anchovies where pickled, not a common addition to a Carpri pizza, kids portions, although good where very small. For the price would expect more

Outstanding! Their pizza truly is so delicious! Had the gluten-free base with the Warner pizza, and couldn't be more impressed! The management are fantastic and really make You feel like one of the family! Highly recommended! The Brie starter is also worth your while!

Can I just say that this place has the most amazing pizza! Woodfired and thin crust, real italian style. The choices of pizzas are endless and they give you the option of creating your own pizza and the toppings are delicious.<br/><br/>The service is excellent and the wine list goes on for days. If youre in the area you have to try Chatters. Simply the most romantic setting with amazing dessert options! Claire (the owner) makes her own desserts and its real home made with a touch of love. Very good pizzas made with fresh ingredients and available in smaller sizes which was great. Delicious home made ice cream and friendly, attentive service. Would gladly return!

Upon a night time stroll, we stopped by this charming little bistro for a quick dessert. The dessert menu changes daily so you know that everything is served fresh. We ordered the chocolate mouse and the chocolate torte. They were both delicious and can tell that quality ingredients are used. The coffee was good and with all the fairy lights, it makes for a really romantic spot.

Out of all the pizza joints we tried out in the knysna/plet area, this was definitely the tastiest and best prepared pizza of our trip, beating out some of the heavyweights that came highly recommended. The location can mean that noisy foot- and taxi-traffic will interrupt parts of your meal during daytime hours

It was very nice to find such an amazing Italian restaurant that could accommodate us on very short notice during The Oyster Festival. The waiters and managers were friendly and prompt and the pizzas and pastas were generous and delicious - I enjoyed the pizza, for the thin crust and generous toppings. We had brought some wine with us, but we're told this is not allowed, because they take pride in their wine list - their pride is well deserved, as the wine list is a large and good one to suit all tastes and wallets. I would definitely be back!

The true test of a good place to eat is where the locals go to eat!! When they say best pizza in town they mean it.Can not fault the food or service,great place for family and friends .Highly recommend you try this for a casual lunch or dinner.

We are real pizza snobs. Probably one of the best pizzas I had ever eaten. Excellent vibe, great food with huge variety of pizza topping. Crispy thin base loaded with fresh ingredients. Will drive all the way back there from Cape Town for a pizza lunch. Service friendly and personal. A must visit!

Had a impromtu pizza break after leaving the waterfront. Loved it so much we returned to knysna 2 days later for another round. Enjoyed the pizzas, baked bree and absolutely awesome service. Was so accomodating with my toddler

We dined at Chatters whilst on a mini holidayat Knysna, and being a Monday evening, expected it to be quiet - it was anything but! Within 30min all the outdoor tables were full. You can see its a local favourite as opposed to the tourist favourites at the waterfront.<br/>What's really lovely is that it's proper al fresco dining outside along the street, under the trees.<br/>Our waitress was very good and attentive. The host was good too, you can see him greeting locals and regular diners. However you arent allowed to bring in your own wine - as we were kindly refused by him. I understand why as the wine menu is like an encyclopedia!<br/>We both opted for their famous wood fired pizzas (they do offer pastas, burgers and paninis too).<br/>I chose The Alexander with spicy chicken and it was very tasty. My boyfriend has the honey mustard chicken and the sauce they used was yummy :)<br/>One thing is you cant swop toppings of equal price, they'll just charge for both even if you dont have one - i dont see why restaurants can't accomodate this.<br/>We didnt have dessert, but they have a small yet adequate selection, next time i would have the trio of desserts :)<br/>

Food was top quality. Ordered pizzas and they didn't disappoint. Service was not as good as the food though. It may have been due to how busy they got but I hoped for more. Despite this, Chatters is highly recommended.

This was a really random pick of choice for a lunch stop but we saw a sign that said best oven pizza and it sure was 😊 despite the humid heat the service was good and welcoming . Such a sweet little place in the middle of Knysna Town. Defiantly a place you should stop by and try if you passing through! Also if you have space their dessert menu looks like a definate try me out.

Chatters Bistro is seeped in history as when Knysna was still a railway town it was used as a railway house for the train workers, the owners of Chatters Bistro are very clued up so if you have any questions about the building or the old railway they are definitely the people to ask.<br/>Chatters has always been the place to go if we are just feeling like a good, simple meal. They have a wide variety of pizzas and pastas but also a lot of other tasty meals on the menu such as burgers and salads.<br/>I am a huge fan of the pastas and usually order the Pasta Alla Siciliana but recently I ordered the Caprese salad which comes with a fresh ciabatta. I was very impressed with my beautifully presented salad which was fresh and light after a week of eating junk food. My friend ordered the Chatters Burger and while it definitely looked the best of all our meals he found it quite dry.<br/>Overall Chatters Bistro has always been friendly and the food consistently good. I must warn you that sometimes the waiting staff can be a little slow and distracted when it comes to clearing tables or bringing in the bill/card machine.<br/>

We went to this restaurant as a family on holiday. We are seated outside in a very pleasant setting. The menu offers mainly pizza and pasta dishes, with a few salads and burgers. We ordered pizza and lasagne. Pizza was wonderful. Lasagne was very tasty with lots of meat and not too much cheese. The wine list was impressive. Good service and there was direct involvement from management. Highly recommended

On a rain drenched day in knysna, we decided on take-out pizzas ( and a pasta) from Chatters. Located in a quaint old house in Gray St., the restaurant has an authentic pizza cafe vibe to it. And the pizzas are really good - thin crust and plenty of cheese - if not a bit pricey The pesto pasta however was plain awful and a rip-off at R79 - I could have put in a better effort at 3am drunk and blindfolded.

Simply the best pizza in the area. The service is good too. Kid friendly and great ambience. Only negative is the street view with beggars always around.

This is the place to be on the evening prior to the Knysna Half and Marathon. You will require a booking to be seated. Great pizza and an even better atmosphere. Wish they offered a half-and-half pizza

EDIT: how things change in a year. Came back exactly a year later (2016) and not one person out of our table of 10 enjoyed their meal. Pizzas were average at best and the pastas were even worse. :( This was a 4.5 a year ago, sadly, it's. 1.5 and we won't be back. <br/><br/>Service and all of that was fine - it's the food that was nowhere near as good as last year. <br/>-----<br/><br/>Looking for pizza in Knysna? Chatters is your go to restuarant. Wood fired pizza oven, thin & crispy bases with the pizza piled high with toppings. Try the michelino pizza. Like this review if you did and loved it!

The best pizza in Knysna! We're here for the Big 5 Sport Challenge and Oyster Festival and we've had it a couple of times already. Really friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Keep it up, we'll definitely be back.

Really good pizza restaurant with takeaway. Very quick, very tasty and it's nice place to have a glass or two whilst waiting for your pizza. Highly recommend
