Superb, gourmet style, extremely tasty food, and with the aid of Silvino's impeccable service it was all in all a great evening.
Only down side was the fire ended up smoking out the place, but just a small miscalculation.

Light breakfast on Boxing Day, only opened at 12h00, but we were served drinks while waiting for the kitchen to open.
Table was off-balance but the waiter quickly aligned it for us.
Portions were good and well presented. Pleasant view of the sea and harbour.

I popped in just for a cup of coffee and what a lovely surprise. The staff and service was amazing. The waitress enticed me into trying their Mozart cake and I'm so glad she did. I was in second heaven. If you are in the area, take some time off and enjoy a cuppa with a slice of cake.

An extremely correct woman went to lengths to accommodate my GF vegan needs and even popped over to the neighbour to buy me ginger beer. The roast veggies and salad were delicious and I was very happy to forgive the feta on the salad. But really Kleinmond, is it a principle or just general lack of empathy with people who have special needs? It's extremely boring to eat a very basic salad (there's only iceberg in your world?) every time we eat out...

I enjoyed the view while listening to Des (Money for jam). The food is presented in a creative / mouth-watering way and the cocktails, just wow! I recommend Kaplan’s to anybody, especially because of the interactive owner and staff.

Absolutely shocking. After 10min of sitting and trying to get someones attention to just get a menu, we were eventually helped by a lady that said nothing when I asked for menus and nothing when she put them down and walked away. After another 10min of patiently waiting for someone to take a drinks order, we decided to rather go. Not one person working there even blinked when we got up and left. Top notch view, hopefully by next December they'll have made space for someone that actually wants to do business.

Drove from Cape Town and sat in the cold outside after arranging a table to be told 15minutes before opening time that it is now full and we can't get a table! Crap attitude, very unhelpful staff... people like that can only make crap food... don't bother to go there, you are not important!
