We had breakfast here this morning and it was a delight. Husband had the omelette and I had the Pot belly breakfast.
Hubbie likes his omelette soft and it arrived just as requested.
I had soft poached eggs with my Pot belly breakfast.
We have a rule whereby we assess the breakfast on the taste of the mushrooms.,these were delicious nicely spiced with herbs and garlic.
Coffee was good and my tea hot.
We did compliment the chef on a great meal made with love.
Their prices are also reasonable for great food.

The most devine selection of cakes & coffee's @ Potbelly. And their pies....well, they're not famous for nothing! Such a stunning little venue, definately my favourite!
Was on my way to the pinotage festival so I decided to go to potbelly for coffee as I am waiting on friends. I decided to get me a mega cappuccino and French toast with bacon and syrup as you can see in the picture. So much value for so much food. I only payed R75 bucks for my meal. It was soo delicious and the people are very friendly and very nice. I hear that potbelly is known for they pies but will get that next time. Definitely a place to go check out if you on your way to Stellenbosch.
Trolling through the Stellenbosch winelands would not be complete without a visit to Potbelly.
There are miriads of marvellous mouth watering munchies. Every square centimeter of space is filled with jams, relishes, pickles, marmalade, sauces, marinades, rubs, spices, pastries, pies (the best anywhere) cakes, meringue, macaroons, biscuits, koeksusters, sweets, fresh fruit & veg, chocolates, tea, coffee, biltong, butchery meats, fresh baked bread, free range eggs and dotted here and there with blooming flowers.

A lovely little café with absolutely delicious confectionaries. Service is however a little slow. The adjoining food and decor shops a definately with a visit too.

They have a delicious milktart.
Edit: actually, milk tart is a gamble. Not always that great😔 the pork sausages at the butcher are consistently fab though. They also make delicious salami sticks 👌🏽
The waiters are terrible, they dont smile and reply when asked a question. My coffee was cold and my wifes cappuccino was very strong after i requested not strong. When i eventually received my food , my chips was cold . The ladies behind the counter was friendly at least.
There are 3 businessess next to each other here. The Deli, the Restaurant and Bali trading. Food is excellent. The meat prices in the Deli was very reasonable. Lots of things to choose from in deli. Bali trading is always an experience with their wide selection of decorative paraphenalia. Well worth a visit.
Nice environment to shop. Staff are very helpful. Space is a hit constraint. Products vary between reasonable and excellent. Pies cannot compete with the best I've tasted, but it's reasonable. Value for money is good to expensive. But still a good place for shopping
Potbelly coffee shop has amazing food and desserts. We ordered the pulled pork burger and lamb pie. Both were very good and the chips were well fried. We then had carrot cake and croissant for dessert. Both were top quality desserts that were made to perfection. We will definitely be back when we are in the area again.

We were there at 9am and it was still relatively quiet. There are only a few tables available so a booking (if allowed) is recommended. The food and drinks was very nice, the service was good too. Would definitely go again. Don't forget to pop into Deli and Co next door - quality meat at affordable prices.

Very nice outing, food in restaurant was tasty. Deli well stocked and full of food and treats. Would liked to be served at our table. Not nice ordering at bakery.
We always stop at the Potbelly on our way to Paarl to buy their very delicious pies. Their meat is also very tasty. The fact that they are next to Bali Trading is a plus.

Great range of products. Some are well priced, others are a tad expensive.

Quaint little stop between Stellenbosh and Paarl, close to the N1. Great coffee with plenty of interesting eats, including a mini High Tea with smaller options from their menu.
Friendly staff, with actively involved management.
Worthwhile stop, even to browse through the adjoining bakery, with its range of spices, biscuits and other niceties.
What an amazing shop! Coffee shop gift shop butchery and veggies with biltong and all sorts of sweets and spices. Lovely selection of baked breads and treats. Good coffee. Stop there you wont be dissapointed!

The coffee shop is a really great and has outside seating for those warm supper mornings.
Very popular for Saturday morning breakfast and then browse the Bali Trading store on site, or pick up some freshly baked pies or bread from the deli on your way out.
