Review Panarottis Kenilworth (halaal) - Kenilworth

I wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you for hosting our son's 4th birthday celebration. A special shout-out to Calvin, who went above and beyond in assisting our large group. His friendly demeanor, helpful guidance with orders, and cheerful attitude made the experience truly delightful. We're already planning our return, thanks to the exceptional service we received plus the winner was the amazing pizza

So we had a bit of a bad experience there, but the manager (Randy) called me to apologise and ask to come again as they just had an off night. And I must say I'm happy we went back as it was amazing! Food was awesome, the waiter (Esaie) was super friendly and knowledgeable, the music selection also on point. Overall very good experience

Food was really good, fresh and flavourful. Waiter checked on our table multiple times and was quite friendly. Place is kid friendly but do wish they would add a little more activities for the kids. Perhaps bring colouring pages and crayons to the tables. All in all, always have a very pleasant experience here.

Highly recommend specially if you got kids with you they will definitely enjoy the Play area

Great place to take the little kids play in the play area, however now that my son is 11 years old he doesn't like going there anymore. But for the little ones 👍👍👍👍👍👍 can't stop playing the love it. Never a fail.

I seem to enjoy the pizza there more than anything so next time I won't be buying pasta or ribs. The pizza is absolutely amazing.

I'm neither a pizza nor pasta fan, but a friend suggested Panarottis. She drives a hard bargain and she was paying, so off we went. The shop is nice and spacious, with a camera that monitors the play area and the open floor layout adds a level of transparency that makes you trust the restaurant more - you can see the kitchen, where the staff are and what is being discussed. We had a great server - Taine, who was very helpful with food suggestions and made sure I got the coffee just the way I like it. We ordered the Chicken Supreme sub (the halaal option has pressed beef instead of ham) and the Chicken Milano pasta. The pasta was perfectly cooked and tossed into a rich and creamy cheese sauce; the peppers added texture and colour as well. The sub was lightly toasted, the chicken was well cooked and the cheese was a great addition. The food was exceptionally seasoned, although they do have condiments and all on the table, and we'll prepared. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal: it was big on taste and flavour! I'm so happy with everything that I'm planning on taking someone there as soon as I get the chance. Heard the milkshakes are great as well. The food items around the restaurant gives it a Mom-and-Pop style diner feel. Or live you've traveled back in time to some store. Would highly recommend this restaurant

I love coming here in the afternoons with my kids after some shopping. I can have a coffee and waffle, while they have a play on the big enclosed play area.

Such a lovely place to sit and enjoy some good food for all ages.

Please address your cleaning staff to get their act together. The state of the floors are unacceptable and makes for an unpleasant experience. This is fast becoming a norm and needs to be fixed by your staff and if they’re not prepared to work, hire competent staff.

Everytime my fiance and I come here we get stopped and your security wants to put us out because they have no knowledge of guide dogs we never get to shop in private we must always be stopped in front of everyone as if we did something wrong
Ramona Jeuschenak
Why on earth do I have to do your staff's job by locating the toilet rolls and handing them out to all the ladies in the bathroom waiting and waiting to use the facilities but none of us could because at least 35% of the stalls had no paper and no staff members to be found any where??!!

Had such a bad experience at Milky Lane Kenilworth. First got the most grumpy greeting (if you can call it a greeting). We had to change our orders more than once because they didn't have the ingredients. And when our orders finally came, some of our food came in paper plates and one other person's in a normal plate. Milky Lane will definetly not see us again.

Great place to shopping or relax with friends. The place is stunning worth going too.

Now the shoppers must pay the bill for the Mall Upgrade. i just knew it would come. Paying for parking is happening soon people. You must foot the bill. KC won't seen me soon.

Kc is nice and big very good shopping atmospere...im a bit disapointed at the small sitting space available at the food court....too little eating space for all the takeways

KC should rethink this mission statement: "Kenilworth Centre presents a beacon of relaxation and freedom - freedom to take care of all shopping needs under one roof with no stress and no fuss." Our car got broken into in the parking lot yesterday at lunch time. Car guard seemed more surprised than us that our brand new- just purchased- mountain bike was no longer in our car. When we reported it to the security their response was: sorry those cameras on that end is not working. They took some photos for "their report", advised us to go to the police station and that's it. I am disgusted that after all the renovations the security cameras are still not working in the new section, You would think that with all of the trouble malls have had that, that is the first thing they'll sort out! Everybody should think twice about parking at KC mall. It is definitely not "a beacon of relaxation and freedom - freedom to take care of all shopping needs under one roof with no stress and no fuss."

Breeding ground for hooligans... Management is coving up and sweeping dirty acts of crime under the carpet. I will not step foot even though you 2 mins away👍

I happened to leave my mobile phone in the ladies toilet at kenilworth Centre today and one of the cleaning staff handed my phone into the information desk , thank you thank you , it's good to know you have honest and good people working for you , I did enquirer who the lady was , but they were not sure , if you do find out who it was, please contact me and I would like to thank her personally .

I understand that your plan was to complete the food court renovations for the holiday period.... but i dont quite understand why on earth so many places such as milky lane for one, close at 8pm??? Its holiday time! Seriously??? What is the point if you close so early.

Clicks KC nurse took my Cholestrol reading incorrectly at 8.95, I went to my GP for 2nd opinion it was actually 4.79. Now she argues & say her reading was correct!

I love KC, but don't upgrade your mall but still have crap staff in shops like Woolworths and don't get me started on Fuji Image Centre. Whenever I go to Fuji at KC, I end up getting the worst service EVER. I've been using Fuji Image Centre since 2015 now and only get bad service and results when I use Kenilworth Centres one. Disappointing, since I used to love KC when I was younger and didn't actually use their services.

Honestly, the parking is poorly designed after the implementation of the ticket system. You're left incredibly frustrated going into the centre, and when leaving as well. The parking machines when leaving couldn't even read the parking tickets this morning, so there were lots of cars stuck inside just trying to get out, leaving a backlog of cars and overcrowding in the already poorly spaced parking area. It's more of an inconvenice to visit Kenilworth Centre than anything.

Lovely Centre with great new stores...well worth it!

Robberies every month since the pay for parking was introduced. What does that tell you? No way I am going back to KC - even after shopping there since it opened!

The Al Capone Pizza was my favorite pizza - I have been buying this pizza for many years and loved the toppings. Since they moved into the new premises at Kenilworth the topping and pizza base have reduced by more than half. These pizzas are not cheap. It’s highway robbery. Normally I would battle to finish a pizza, now it’s so thin that one has to look for chicken on the pizza and left me hungry afterwards... I have brought this to their attention before, but of this continues then you have lost us for good...

I was there on Monday morning I had such an amazing time there at panarottis the food was excellent and the service was amazing the waiter who served me I think her name is toufeeka or tougheeda she was incredible spoke to me like we know each other years and helped me choose the food because she tasted everything and it was a great choice. I will be coming back soon and hope to be served by her. thank you

Panarottis Kenilworth Centre disappointed me today. Having waited 40 minutes for a standard classic Greek pizza, being told by the floor manager that if I wait another 10 minutes, that I could have the pizza for free was disappointing. I declined as a free pizza was not what I wanted. They were polite & civil about the matter but that does not take away the bitter taste of poor service.

If I could rate 0, I would. We were a table of fifteen for breakfast and the service was completely horrible. Some of us were done eating and the other half never received their food even after we ordered at the same time. Other people who came in an hour later still received their food before the other half of our table. After telling the manager, nothing changed. It seemed he just kept talking but nothing was being done. I will never recommend this place and will never come back again. Terrible service. The fact that all our complaints were over looked made it even worse.

Wheat free pizza. Something out of Gordan Ramsey's nightmare kitchen. Utterly disgusting. How can you serve such a dish. The staff had no problem with it.

Amazing! Finally a halaal Panarottis 🍕. Honestly enjoyed the pizza. Waiting time was quite long but it was to be understood as the place was packed. The waiter was very sweet and accommodating. The menu is accommodating 💪. Very exciting. Will definitely be going back asap.

This is my favorite pizza place. Their menu is fantastic, I’ve noticed all the weird ‘names’ on their menu is actually strong pizza toppings🤣 really enjoy their specialty milkshakes and their service is always great 👍🏻

Panarottis Kenilworth Centre is definitely a great place to go and have supper with Friends or Family. Especially since they have Thursday All You Can Eat.

Every day of the week they have specials so you can see which specials you come across when you go.

Service is great but can become a bit chaotic when they are full.

It was our first time eating at this restaurant, the service was fair (the waiter could have shown us a couple of teeth aka smile) however the food was delicious according to hubby (being a picky eater) we had 2x Tuesday specials pasta and pizzas. We'll go back a second time and maybe we might give a higher score.

Lovely pasta great pizza and amazing service , waiting time sometimes takes a while but otherwise the kiddies area is such a big help when going with kids , its a really flexible space to hang out

Small, medium and large. These are the basic
degrees of size that have been used throughout the history of exchange. Clothing, food, accessories and so on have stuck to this classification because it works and because normal people like you and me know this system. So why do the 'marketing geniuses' at Panarottis come up with their own version of these sizes? What did they do to be given the privilege of making up their own sizes? Just like they messed up their pizzas they messed up their sizes.

The standard pizza is actually a small pizza. The large pizza is actually a medium pizza. The signature Monster pizza is actually a large. Wow, imagine the amazement when you order a large.

We ordered a large duo meaty supreme and chicken mayo (for the kids) pizza.

The base is too soft to be that thin yet it still manages to appear uneven - almost lumpy. The shape is closer to oval than round. Below average for a mechanical kitchen pizza.

Tomatoe flavour is there but its not sharp enough. I suspect a franchise issue mass produced 'can or jar type' product in use.

As far as cheese goes this is a first for me. I didnt taste any cheese on that pizza, so cheese may be considered as an addition to a pizza! If there was cheese on that pizza it completely missed my tastebuds.

For Panarottis I am giving them an average rating, which is actually a below average rating for normal people. 2/5. You need to up your game Signore.

(If you prefer quantity over quality then you will like the all you can eat option on Thursdays; the play area is quite good aswell, large)

M

Panarottis has become a firm favourite in our home. Simply because the food is good and my 2yr old can join in on any of the meals we purchase or she can have her own. The carnivore pizza is excellent! I normally add some feta and rocket which makes it even better. Hubby tried the Panarottis special pizza and that wasnt too bad either. Repeatable good. If i had to complain it would be about the size of the sub. I havent had one for years but i am pretty sure it was bigger than a normal hotdog roll back then? For over R60 its a bit pricey too :-/

I was craving some Italian and we ordered lasagne with a margherita. The margherita was average and the lasagne was awful. There is no words to describe how off the mark they are when it comes to lasagne. The mince was clumpy and bland, the béchamel sauce seemed a little watery and there was like 2 tiny pieces of lasagne sheet floating around all the clumped up mince!

I was not impressed to say the least, but the pizza's mediocrity came to my rescue even though I had to steal a few pieces from other people's food 😂

The reason why I'm giving the place a 3.0 score is because when we called to complain, the manager was completely amicable towards us. This type of service is much appreciated. If you guys need some cooking lessons on how to make an authentic Italian lasagne, please give me a shout 😂

I was very impressed with the food and service. I initially did not expect much but was blown away by the the great experience my husband and I had. I had the sticky chicken wings and three cheese flat bread, it was so tasty and the portions were huge. My husband had the ribs and quater chicken and he too enjoyed himself. Compared to some of the up market restuarants I have been to, this place wins the competition hands down. The waiters actually care and are attentive to their customers, something other restuarants lack.

Good food, good service. Our waiter, Blessing, was awesome and very patient with our indecisive group. I was looking for something low carb so had the chicken Caesar salad. Tasted too good to be healthy! I like the al Capone pizza if I feel for a treat.

Only go to this Panarottis because it's one of the very few halaal pizza/pasta places one can go to. Not the greatest of service but seems to be improving. At least the food is ok. We usually go on Tuesday for the buy one pizza/pasta and get one free or tried the Thursday all you can eat special as well which I find isn't as worth it as the Tuesday one unless you can eat ALOT!
Berne-Leigh Berny Gabriel
Excellent food! Buy one, get one free (on Tuesday's). Any standard pizza or standard pasta. Basically free food, and who's not down for that? Super happy with service as well.
