Borruso's - Kenilworth - Photo album

Such a lovely dinner out with family on my first visit to Cape Town. In Kennilworth is where this quaint, traditional Italian gem can be found. Think 'Nonna's' kitchen - cozy corners, mood lighting, mismatched chairs, and the chatter of happy customers clinking wine glasses and enjoying generously p
Very good spot. My boyfriend says “the waitresses/waiters are very attractive here. But not so much the management staff” I love the vibes and the toppings. The banana fire thing is awesome! Would recommend
Great old fashioned restaurant in Kenilworth/Claremont. Very cozy with a wonderful ambiance. Food was delicious.
Went with family from overseas since we have grown up with this place but also because it is the only pizza and pasta place that is delicious beyond say. Pizza is thin base, with amazing toppings and superb fresh chilli on the side. Favourites are the 'foccaccio' and the 'no name brand', as well a
The staff are always friendly and welcoming. They don't rush you so you can relax and enjoy the visit. You can order a half / half pizza for those of us who cannot decide on just 1 pizza flavour. You can also take your own wine
Loved it. Great atmosphere. Great service. Great pizza. Would have been 5 star if it wasn't for the wait for food. It was packed so no problem but a bit long. Will give another go for sure!
Had a fantastic pasta dish and focaccia. Would definitely recommend for pasta or pizza at a reasonable price.
Amazing pizza and pasta dishes. A big variety of choices to satisfy everyone's tastes and preferences. I like the thin bases and saw pizzas come out with fresh cold tomato added on top definitely will try next time. Our waitress was friendly but service a little slow due to business of restaurant-ho
Always have the most delicious food and quick service. We are always in and out of there in 40 minutes because the food comes out so quickly and is so yummy that we eat it in seconds. I highly recommend a big bowl of gluten-free paste and the FAB pizza. This is a go-to pizza spot in the southern sub
Always a great meal at Borruso's. Tables are a little on top of each other where we sat but is winter and they lose a lot of outside seating so understandable. Quick and friendly service, great food.
Quite easily the best Pizzas in Cape Town. The Owners make the effort to get to know their customers and with the quirky relaxed atmosphere, the restaurant is always busy (for all of the right reasons)
Probably the best pizza I've ever had in my 47 years on this planet! Thanks so much guys!! Great service, friendly relaxed vibes, and Jasso..what a FANTASTIC thin based pizza!! Big up yourselves for being consistently just absolutely fabulous!!!!
Lovely restaurant, lovely server (as they always are) - her name was Sye (most likely the incorrect spelling). The manager behind the counter comes across as VERY rude and stressed. I’m a regular customer and have noticed what I would describe as a decline in his demeanour over the last year. He ma
By far my favourite pizza in Cape Town. With great pizza, pasta and calzone options this restaurant has a fantastic vibe and delicious food.
Another wonderful meal. The lasagne is so good I literally dream about it ! And even on a chilly evening you can still sit outside in the under cover area Family favourite for sure !
I’ve been going to Borruso’s with my family since I was a child, about 20 years ago. After living overseas for a number of years I had the privilege of visiting Borruso’s again a few weeks ago, and I’m happy to say it has not changed one bit. Still the best service with the best pizza makers (who kn
Place is very dark & interesting. Was greeted enthusiastically on arrival. Pizzas are tasty. I tried the BOBA. Bacon, Onion, Banana, Avo. Visit Borruso's!!
