Review Bardelli's - Kenilworth

Hritik Mitha
Bardelli's offers an exquisite range of Italian-inspired foods, such as pizzas and pastas. The experience was enhanced by great service from attentive waitrons as well as a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our dinner was illuminated by candles as there was loadshedding but despite this, the wait for our food was reasonable and the fire-baked dishes were delivered warm and were delicious. Highly recommend this place for a casual lunch or dinner out with friends and family.

Amazing restaurant, amazing food and amazing service. Such a homey vibe, I felt like I was getting a big warm hug when I stepped in. And then an even bigger hug when the food arrived. Our server, Hash, was amazing! I'll definitely be going back, which is huge considering I live in the Northern Suburbs.

An authentic and quaint Italian restaurant offering the most delicious pizzas and pastas - especially the ravioli. They offer an array of options which cater for various dietary needs. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and cozy while the service of the staff are friendly and efficient.
Jenna Venter
The pizza was delicious and our waiter was very friendly and helpful. Our food also came very quickly (and disappeared just as quickly!) The pizza also has the option of a medium or large size which I appreciate. There was a bit of a traffic jam in the restaurant when we arrived as many people were waiting to be seated which was a bit puzzling as there appeared to be many seats available. Apart from this, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend!

Top! Top! Topclass Pizzeria in the heart of Kenilworth. This place offer and authentic Italian experience, they don't skimp on the ingredients. The flavour is amazing and their selections of pizza and pasta make it a go to. They were awarded the prize of being onenof the top 10 pizzerias in South Africa for 2021 so don't just take my word for it. They have the plaque to prove it. I would recommend getting their foccacia as a starter its the perfect way to introduce yourself to the menu and make a decision from there. Make a booking they fill up quite quickly as well! The Malva Pudding was very underwhelming and highly over priced for something that wasn't baked fresh. But I don't think anybody goes there for the desserts.

A lovely night out at Bardelli's. We were seated in cute covered courtyard - loved the garden style with plenty of pot plants. Delicious pizza and pastas. The calamari was served with sun-dried tomatoes, olives on a bed of rice - delicious. Generous portions. Oh and their Creme Brulee is a, perfect way to end your dinner. Friendly and efficient service.

Fabulous little spot with amazing food. Great flavour and the pizza base was perfection. I actually considered having another pizza, but have no idea where I would have put it!!! Excellent service, staff very knowledgeable about the menu. I will definitely be eating there again. Highly reccomended!

Was at the express and got 2 small pizzas. Delicious pizza guys, well done. Also, clean environment and friendly servers.

Such an amazing place. The service was perfect and accommodating. The food was great...everything is well worth a 5 star rating. Enjoyed the historic building setting like I was having dinner in a chilled home environment. The staff also make you feel at home, which adds to the amazing experience. I had the chicken lasagna and a salad, it was delicious and a very decent portion. Finished it off with some dessert, which was the icing on the cake (excuse the pun)of a good experience. Definitely one of my top go-to place from now on.

One of the best Pizza joints in Cape Town. Super thin bases and great quality toppings. Been going for years and never disapoints. Well done!

Hadn't been here in about 4 years, so decided to make a booking and revisit an old favorite. From the time I made that call and spoke to Grant, the Manager, I figured tonight was going to be different. Walking in, the waitron Candice greeted with a wide smile and you could just smell the knowledge on her, figuratively speaking. She was a brilliant, friendly and an extremely knowledgable waitron. The venue immediately felt homely. And although it looks tiny from the outside, it can accomodate approx 130 people in this very spacious home/set up. If you go all the way through to the back there is a smokers section with a water feature with live fish and a fire place bustling in the background. Bardellis can be used as a quick meal restaurant, an Italian experience restaurant, a romantic date place or even a place to take family or even work colleagues. The menu is easy to understand and if you have a waitron like Candice, there wouldn't be too much understanding required. Her pasta suggestion to me is what I ordered, the Mario. The Alfredo is also a good 'Italian tester'. Fyi, their ham, bacon and chicken are double smoked and the garlic and chillies are freshly cut daily! Dessert was creme brulee and a chocolate brownie with ice cream. Moments of silence were followed by each spoonful. Personally, I would have liked more ice-cream with the brownie, but it was delicious and soft and covered with deliciousness nevertheless. After having eaten around the world, Italy couldn't beat this Italian restaurant!

A romantic but casual setting with great management and even better food. we were seated near the fireplace which was super romantic as my hubby and I could gaze deeply into each other's eyes, it was our anniversary and they took such good care of us. I must say that the pizza was truly fantastic, loaded and fresh. Hands down one of the best evenings and we will be back.

I have never had a problem with Bardellis food in the past and usually enjoy it, but ordered two pizzas and two pastas now and I feel like the food quality has dropped substantially. My pizzas were ridiculously thin based and hardly any cheese, the pineapple extra was added after the pizza was made as was cold and just slapped on the pizza. The pastas at R130 for ravioli and R120 for Alfredo, were not nearly as good as I have had them in the past. The sauces were just not nice and seemed like almost flour based cream sauce instead of actual cream, with clumps of who knows what in the sauce. Overall experience was not great and it's a pity, will not order food from here again or be going to Bardellis again.

Wow what a great find! Excellent food, excellent service and an ambience to die for. This will definitely become a regular hangout for us.

Delicious! We went there for the first time last night for my boyfriend’s birthday. What an all-round 5 star experience! The best pizza I’ve had in a long time, warm and friendly service, and a comfortable atmosphere. I can’t wait to go back

Some of the most tasty food in the whole southern front of South Africa! Unique recipe and excellent friendly staff would highly recommend :)
Matt MacCallum
The food was excellent and we really enjoyed the pasta and pizza we had. Unfortunately the service was poor. Food took ages and the waiter was uninterested.
Danielle McDonald
Have tried this place a couple of times, each and every single time the food was either cold, raw or the wrong order. The last time we went the waiter forced us away from our table where we were sitting (which we reserved, by the way), to accommodate a bigger group of guests that had arrived after us. When I complained in writing to the manager he didn't even bother to respond. We will never go again, or recommend it to anybody.

I'm not a fan of pizzas but now and again I fancy one. Yesterday, after a day at Newlands, I decided to try out Bardelli's Kenilworth as I have been walking past this restaurant on a daily basis on my way to the station. It was a dissapointing experience!!! They serve the driest gluten free base pizza you have ever tasted. It's like eating cheese on cardboard. It actually tasted like the base has passed its sell by date. I was eating it thinking this cannot be happening, it must be me but as I reflect back on my previous gluten free pizza experience I realised this was not up to scratch. My stomach is still struggling. I wasn't impressed with the service either and only tip out of political correctness. The blase attitude to bad service in this country really amaze me. If you want great gluten free base pizza experience , forget Bardelli's. I won't be going there again. Instead, go to Panorotti's (the best) or Bacini's. For raw pizzas check out The Hungry Herbivore at the V&A Food market at the Waterfront. They serve a wicked raw pizza!!!

Pizzas are good, but fairly pricey. Disappointed that a glass of wine is R45 and only about two sips of wine in a glass.
Marc Van Den Berg
Really good pizzas! Speedy service, delicious creme brulee and perfect coffee to top it all off. Would definitely go there again and recommend it to everyone.

Friday, 2nd June was the first time I've been there with my family. It was my son's birthday and he wanted to check out Bardelli's in Kenilworth, because his best friend, Darren, works there and he recommended we try it out. My mom is not a pizza lover, but she is now after we visited your establishment. We had a really great experience and will be back for seconds.
Cherith O'Connor
My husband and I had our first date there. Its one of our favourite restaurants. Love the friendly homey feel, and the food is amazing whether its pizza pasta. We keep on going back !

Thanks for the great pizzas and warm friendly service that makes for a cosy dinner or take aways. Keep it up

Our local pizza place. We're lucky to have the best so close! Great pizza, pasta, lasagna and lamb!

Follow the smoking regulations...manager Troy should never speak to customers the way he did... but I can see there won't be any consquence because of the way this establishment is dealing with this

My husband and I love Bardellis. The food is really outstanding and the service is great. I wasn’t the type of person that would order pasta at a restaurant as Ive always felt its something we can easily make at home, but now when I feel like yummy pasta - we know were to go.
Chelsea Tucker
The BEST Italian restaurant in Cape Town. Jenni the waitress is incredible and the vibe is so romantic and homey. Such an amazing experience. The food was phenomenal. My friend had a Olympia range pizza which is a mix of four pizzas and I had the well advised Roma pizza. A winner?
Diane Meyer
Went for dinner in Friday 1st February 2019 and ordered a Papa G large pizza, absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was great and the service was excellent, would really recommend it for a date night. Also the courtyard is amazing too.

This is a local spot close to home and I can honestly say that they have one of the best Pizza's in Cape Town. The owners great, there's a nice ambience inside the restaurant with an outside area and the service has been really good every time we go.

I’m very disappointed with the appalling unprofessional service at Bardellis as a first time customer.

I placed an order over the phone at 20:56 for a pizza only to arrive at the restaurant after 15 minutes to be told the order was not placed. Apparently Grant (who spoke to me over the phone) forgot to tell the restaurant manager on duty about the order and I proceeded to wait a further 20 minutes for my order to be rectified, and was compensated only with a “complementary garlic and chilli.”There was no sense in urgency to make sure the pizza comes out as soon as possible.

I’m definitely not in a rush to come back here.
Bhavini Bhagwan
We didn’t end up eating here since we had made a reservation for 8pm, but was told by the manager (only upon arrival) that they would like to close the kitchen by 9 and be packed up and closed by 10 - which is a pretty weird way to welcome a party of 6.
Nati Celliers
Went here for dinner with my sister. It’s quite expensive and the food is ok. On the bright side, the portions are large. But you need to add more flavor yourself. Their carbonara isn’t as great as they tell you. I’d recommend their butternut lasagne.
Linda Thompson
Fanatic service from William. Quick service and chilled romantic setting for those sitting at the restaurant.
Pizza was truly delicious. I’ll be back and great to hear of the specials on Monday and Tuesdays.

This restaurant has a homely feel to it and offers guests an intimate dining experience. I love the courtyard section. They also offer guests blankets and light up a fire place on cold evenings. The menu offers light meals and as well as mains which includes grills, pastas and pizzas. I must add their pizzas are absolutely delicious as well as their steaks! Will definitely my added to one of my favourites list.
Mish-al Ebrahim
To be honest, i’ve only ever had the Creme Brûlée, but I must say it was AMAZING. Probably one of the best in Cape town (so they claim) plus I get a real homely feel when i’m there, which is great

Went for a quick supper at around 8.30pm last night. After living in Harfield for a 3 years, we finally decided to leave the comfort of our local Italian spot to try something new. We decided to give Bardellis a go. The decor is interesting and maybe a little but old considering it has an intense Italian vibe which I do like. Food took a little longer than expected, we only ordered a pasta and pizza. My main concern is how the Napolitana was served. When a truly authentic Italian Napolitana is cooked, it should be mixed and swished with the pasta. I received cooked pasta with a dollop of tomato sauce on the top. One thing the Italians know how to do is serve a simple meal with style, however Bardellis failed.

I was splendidly surprised by Bardellis. The service was good and the atmosphere assisted in making it a lovely evening with friends. The pizza!

D-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s.

Will come back

Beautiful thin crusted pizzas, interesting lasagnes, and fantastic creme Brule.
Bardelli's offers some great specials and an intimate setting. Lovely for a mid-week dinner date.

Definitely book for Friday nights or you might be faced with a rude hostess unwilling to make a plan for a walk-in customer (which was my latest experience). Other than that, the food is good.

I've been going to Bardellis at least one a month for over fifteen years and have loved the fact it was consistently good in terms of quality of food and service. I was totally shocked last night over the response of the manager when I told him I found a bone on a pizza - I have never complained before. He responded that I should understand chickens come with bones and I should complain to the butcher! One of my favourite restaurants for years but I won't go back

Used to love this place, such a pity it is being let down by a manager who brings a very unpleasant energy to an otherwise beautiful restaurant. Something to be said for how a manager treats his staff. Ambience is so important. Excellent food though.

Went there for a friends birthday. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Service was quite good. The portions of pasta and pizza serve a decent amount. Food was served nice and hot and tasted great!
Lukhanyo Maseti
The food was great, the staff were very friendly and the vibe was nice and cosy. I'd definitely recommend them for a date night.

Their Alfredo is definitely worth a try 👌

Some of the best gluten free pizzas around. No carb free pizzas available but the gluten free are great. Really good prices too. A large selection of pasta and pizzas and desserts.

Amazing food and very friendly staff after a long ultra marathon was tired and hungry the restaurant opens at 6 I called at 5:15 and they were happy to have me. The caprese was fresh would love to see the mozeralla slices to be a bit thicker, ordered myself the wood fire mushrooms pizza which is not in the menu but they were so glad to help and to top it all the Creme Bruule was amazing. Anytime in Cape town make a trip to Bardelli

We don't often go for dinner but as our dinner thing, we often come here and order our favourite pizza and dessert.

We are both vegetarian and there does seem to be a few options on the menu although not many.

We almost always go for the Butternut, feta, sun-dried tomato and caramelised onion pizza. Which is one of the yummiest pizzas and actually my favourite pizza of all time.

We also love the Creme brulee that's made here, it is Creamy and not too sweet or too rich. Hearing the crack of the caramelised sugar as you eat into it I'd incredibly satisfying.

The restaurant is charming but also very busy, this is much more of a family restaurant than a restaurant for quiet time.

Kelly Russell
Very mediocre starter bread, dry and tasteless and the pizza is nothing to write home about. Waiters and waitresses need to put deo on when serving customers.
If no avo in season, tell customers when ordering, not when the pizza arrives.
Very dissapointed, won't rush back.
Meg Ringdal
Really lovely dining experience. Our food was super tasty, delivered quickly and the staff were exceptional. I had the seafood lasagne which I can highly recommend, while my partner had the Raphael pizza (peri peri chicken). All round good experience - would recommend, would go back.

One of better Italian restaurants in the Southern Suburbs. The staff as well as the owner Grant, is extremely warm and welcoming and service is friendly and efficient. This particular establishment was an old house which has now been converted into a cosy restaurant. My two favourites on the menu, is the Butternut lasagne and the Pablo pizza (bacon feta rosemary). Oh and while you're there, ask for the homemade chilli!

Came here as part of a big group and the restaurant handled it well. Our food all came promptly and was of a good quality. I especially like the option for a 4 way pizza (2 slices of 4 different pizzas) and the half an half options. The whole table seemed happy with their orders, and the gluten free people enjoyed their bases too. Overall a good night. :)

We love to support the restaurants in our hood and this one has been around for so long, it's become an institution. Located on Kenilworth road, the small exterior belies the lovely interior and magical garden that hides beyond the facade. The house has been transformed into the cosiest of restaurants that is more like an old Italian home filled with memorabilia. Each room offers a different ambience and some can
be used for a private dining experience. My favourite is the covered garden courtyard. It sets the scene for a very romantic evening.

The menu boasts a good selection of starters (we always have a thin and crispy garlic foccacio), quite a few salads and vegetarian dishes, and of course an extensive list of pizza and pasta. And yes, the pizzas are wood fired. Love that they do quarters for the indecisive! Hubby loves their breakfast pizza and my go to is usually a Regina. Specialities include calamari, line fish, carpaccio (my favourite) and really good steaks.
The portions are perfect and the quality is unmistakable. If there is space - their desserts are pretty excellent too! Sorbet, milkshakes, malva, tiramisu (of course) brulee and more.
BigJoe

Last night was the first time we ordered from Bardelli's. Did the calamari starters, garlic and herb foccacia, italia salad and puttenesca pasta. So we didnt get the salad for whatever reason and I am still fighting with Mr Delivery to get a refund - pathetic. Food was't that great though. Calamari was cooked great but super salty and the accompanying rice was hard. Pasta was ok and so was the focaccia. Not worth another try i'm afraid...

Love coming here. My favorite little spot right on my doorstep and I've always enjoyed the service and fresh cooked food I've eaten here. :)
Johnny Jol
A reliable old favourite. Amongst the top few pizzas in Cape Town, offering many options from plain and simple to wild and exotic toppings. Also offers lots of different seating options including outdoor, indoor or even a (semi) private room for larger gatherings
Barbara Ann Hall
Arguably, the best pizza in Cape Town! The variety, quality and wafer thin bases are a winner! Homely interior/exterior restaurant with great waitrons. Good value with a blazing fire for cold winter evenings 😉👍🏻
Catherine Arzul
Lovely place to be on a date night, especially the outside area. All of their pizzas are absolutely delicious. Not anything extravagant but a warm, pleasant atmosphere, generally good service and lovely food.
Noels
One of my favourite spots in Kenilworth. The intimate setting makes it perfect for dates, the food is consistently wonderful and the staff are friendly and attentive.
Jenni McCann
Always a favourite ... best choice for a spontaneous date night, when you want great food, an intimate, friendly atmosphere and easy service.
Pasta, wine and warm atmosphere.
Ceone
This used to be a favourite and regular spot for us, as its within walking distance and the food is pretty good. We've lately just had terrible service and I'm afraid we've been put off permanently. Don't know if management changed (or disappeared!), but it's just not good anymore.
Garth
If you really want good pizza this is the place to check out. The vibe is really chilled and with the setup you'd be forgiven for thinking that you're sitting in a street in Italy (though I have not been there but seen enough movies to know). The pizzas are so tasty, even the ones created for the banting eaters. I do need to mention that I was with a group of about 15 people so I understand the Oder would take some time to process but we did what a long time for the food to arrive. You get what you paid for and as far as I'm concerned you paying for quality
Sarah Lee Beckett
Amazing fire cooked pizza. Their Angelo pizza is to die for (for reals)and there is always a cozy quint table to sit at in the candlelight. Lovely authentic pizza place.
Darren Oosterberg
Not great not bad, simple Italian food. Was a bit concerned when they didn't know what lemoncello was and even had it on the menu. But other than that a well priced average dinning restaurant .
Lindsay Jackson
Had a lovely birthday dinner. The pasta Alfredo was tasty, a bit too creamy. Lots to choose from on the menu and there are certain specials and certain days which is exciting:) service was great! Dessert- average.
Kyle
Fantastic little spot hiding in Kenilworth. Ambience favours more intimate gatherings however we had a large table of boisterous personalities and had a blast. Pizza and pasta variations were on point and everyone was very happy with their choices. Service was a tad inattentive, wine choice limited but pricing was good and balanced.
Klutz In The Kitchen
The Klutz in the Kitchen's Straight Talkin' No Punches Pulled Restaurant, Bisto, Cafe, Pub, Food Truck, Street Food & Take Away Grub n' Cooking Maguffta Reviews
======+++++======
The Klutz decided it was time to gallivant around the neighbourhood again, this time in search of his groovy, celebrated hero’s much loved food, Lasagne. We refer to that goofy cat Garfield naturally, and to find that beautiful baked concoction perfected by the Italians who gave it to the world at large to enjoy with a good bottle or two of wine, Pinotage of course and some freshly baked bread to soak up the delicious sauce.

The search was narrowed to Kenilworth, where we found ourselves sauntering through the doors of Bardelli’s, which we’d not been to before. We were pounced, ok not really, accosted didn't sound like the right word to use, so pounce it'll have to stay, by a waitress, who we later found was the manageress and quite fetching she was too. She took us through a number of inter-leading rooms, with tables and an outdoor cover area at the back, bigger than it looks at the storefront.

I decided the we’d like the table I'd spotted in the front room which was quite busy with a sports team and parent celebrating the good season they had. On being seated was asked what we’d like to drink. I said Pinotage, she said yes they had a great house brand bottled for them by Beyerskloof, I said I’ll try a glass. She sauntered off to get the vino while I perused the menu, unnecessary but being a first visit i deemed it was.

When the wine arrived I placed the order for Lasagna and a Garlic Pizza, then found out they had some Beyerskloof Chenin/Pinotage Blend in stock too, and something very rarely found in restaurants. Not being a big white wine drinker, this was one I always make an exception for and ordered a glass of it too. The evening looked very promising.

The Garlic Pizza arrived looked good and was the thinnest I’d ever come across and though, sjoe, too good to be true ‘cause that just how I like my Garlic Pizza, great start and contentedly started munching. The Lasagne arrived steaming hot, good sign, but still had to pass The Klutz In The Kitchen’s famous and exacting great Lasagna Test, oh alright, it’s simply a knife stabbed into the centre of the dish, the tip must be piping hot to the tongue, if not it, fails and is sent back with the promise of not returning to the venue again in a hurry. Pass it did and was one of the most yummolicious Lasagne’s I’d had in a long while.

Good food, wonderful wine, but sadly the only downer was the coffee, nowhere near good at all, in fact blerry awful and horribly bitter. All in all a fantastic evening of really great food and marvellous wine, we’ll just forget about the coffee and have a Kahlua Don Pedro next time. Oh, and Bardelli’s is near the top of my go to Italian food joints. Lasagna rule’s OK.
======+++++======
The Klutz in the Kitchen’s Grub Rating System

Such a super spot! Feels like you have a little corner of Italy right on your doorstep. It has a very intimate atmosphere perfect for a date. We share a few pizzas paired with great wine. The service is also truly fantastic.

Scrumdidilicious Italian spot - good pizza, pasta and wine! Great outside courtyard and lovely Italian feel to the restaurant. We have always been happy with our meals, the service and the overall atmosphere. Friendly, cheerful and delicious all rolled into one!

The initial experience was a mixed one - unwillingness of the owners to give the spot decided by us, delay in taking orders etc etc BUT during our stay, it progressively became better and ended on a rather amazing note where chef surprised my daughter with a baked playdough. Overall it turned out to be a good experience.

This was a spontaneous dinner. We decided to pop in here for some pizza and pasta on Friday eve as we had drinks down the road. We specifically chose Bardellis also because we knew they had a lovely enclosed back area with a roaring fire going! Upon our arrival we knew we hadn't booked so as we entered we asked the waiter that approached us if there was place outside, he then said no and showed us to a seat right at the front door! Luckily the manager passed us just as we were looking probably abit put off and asked if we had called about a table a moment ago, to which we responded no but we would loove a seat out back if possible near the fire and he said no problem and asked us to follow him. Not sure why the waiter didn't do this for us! We got a great seat near the fire and then we were welcomed by an awesome waitor who was attending the outside area. I ordered a pasta and my boyfriend a pizza. It was good to know that their kitchen closed at 11 only, quite surprised but really cool. We were both disappointed at the meal portion sizes. When my pasta arrived, i immediately saw how small it was. My pasta was R92 and I didn't have anything fancy, but I managed to finish it all. That is not like me, I always take home a doggie bag, I never finish my meal. My boyfriend's pizza - he complained the base is terribly thin and therefor not filling at all, he too finished his pizza, also not the norm! So ya, I can't say I'll be back. For the price you paying for these dishes and the quantity received, not great! It's a pity cos the setting, ambience and convenience of location (to our house) is awesome.
Jonathan Layton-Nel
I went to Bardelli's 2 years ago and it was great. I then decided to go back 3 months ago and we had a disaster with a table of 8. Food was brought out in different stages and two of the pizza's werent cooked and two of the orders were wrong. The manager brushed over it like they had done nothing wrong (terrible move). They then took two of the pizzas away and put them back in the oven (as is) - not even asking to remake it. They then came back burnt. This put a damper on the whole night - not to mention all of our food was cold by the time we all received it. I was so embarrassed by the whole night. I then decided to go back to Bardelli's last night, to see if they were having a bad night the previous time. It was food for two people - the food took forever and was terrible. I made a change on my pizza and they kept it the same without making the change and my friends spaghetti bolognese was dry and overcooked. If you planning a night out with friends here I suggest going somewhere else. Unless you want to have one of those awkward nights. Management is horrific, the food is overpriced for what it is and it does not do it for me.
Denny Mo
I was a regular there but when a new manager took over things got worst. I had a party there, we booked out the back area and had about 40 people there. We guaranteed 8k worth of bills but thats wasn't enough. Their manager decided to charge me R30 per cupcake my friends made for me. I ended up with a bill of R1200 for some cupcakes. A very desperate move and you've chased you locals away and never again!
Nicola Wheat
I was there as part of a large party. One person found a fish bone in her lasagne which was quite off putting, but what was even worse was the pudding. Stale chocolate mousse that could be removed from its ramekin in a single piece to reveal the entire base covered with various colours of mould. Disgusting. I wouldn't eat there again.
Rachel
Bardelli's pizza is incredible; the base was honestly the thinnest I've ever had and just delicious. Their house wine was a serious let down; I had a bottle of the red and lacked flavour.

Get the pizza, don't get their house wine.
Janet
Love it. I live just down the road, so am a little ashamed but I know their menu by heart! My favourites are the artichoke salad and the bella rosa pizza... This is the pizza to beat in Cape Town, with great service and a great atmosphere too
Alice Scott
Delicious pizza set in a warm and cozy setting.

The owners are very accommodating for special functions and give you lots of different options and advice which is always welcomed.

Pizzas are thin and crispy with fresh toppings and tasty combinations.
Andrea Lauren Kraak
Spent date night at bardellis and what a lovely time it was. Warm and cosy, and very intimate. The owner made sure we were looked after which made it even more special. The milkshakes are creamy and delicious. Only restaurant I will have a milkshake. The pastas were warm, fresh and full of flavour. All you can say there is hmmm. Had a window seat and it was so pretty looking out onto the street, very nostalgic. Homey restaurant, loved it.
