Small restaurant with quick and friendly service. Unisex bathroom is a bit small. Small kids play area outside the seated area. No smoking area available. Food portions on starters menu to small for the prices charged. The main meal came fast and fresh. The waitress was attentive, friendly and patient with the small kids. All in all a good night out during the week, for a quick meal with the family

Enjoyed working over lunch with my friends. The place was empty inside and outside. Few couples came and left but never was the place full. The food was delish and the staff was friendly. Covid-19 protocols adhered.

The food was nice. We had oysters and prawns. Service was lekker. Will definitely go back again.

The staff are friendly. The manager was really nice and welcomed us in when they were actually considering closing for the night. 10/10 for service and the food and drinks are exactly what you would expect from Ocean Basket, top class.

I've recently been back to this Ocean Basket, and I must admit. My opinion of them has improved since my last visit. Especially the service. The food was never really an issue. Well done to the shift managers, they were noticeably more hands on, which facilitated the improvement in service standard.

The food was amazing. Great value for money as I left there quite filled. The ambience is also nice because the location where it’s situated is not too busy or chaotic. Would definitely recommend.

Miller is our favourite waiter. Very friendly and always smiling. You are lucky to have him at Ocean basket. We go back every week because of the awesome service he gives us.

The most amazing staff and service despite them being busy last night. Staff still remember us - even recognize my voice when I reserve a table, what wine we drink - what are our favourite starters, etc. Ocean Basket at Cape Town International Airport can take a really good lesson from them.

Amazing food!!!! Great staff (thanks Frans for the great service) and very friendly manager that makes you feel at home, even in the cold winter weather. I highly recommend the Ocean Basket at Brentwood Park shopping centre to any and ALL!!! Its always nice to say after a great meal that it was EVERT cent worth paying!! Won't order a cocktail again. They pour it from a box. Grilled Fish was excellent. Sweet potatoes were deepfried which is not the preferred preperation method, oil was dripping out of it.

I took my family to OB Brentwood Park on Friday (25 March). It wasn't very busy when we arrived with only a few tables being occupied. We were seated outside, given menus and that's when the long wait began. We were a table of 8, of which one was a very old lady of 93 years and a 7 month pregnant woman. None of these factors were noticed by our super ignorant waitress. Our waitress only reappeared about 15 minutes later to take the drinks order. Then we waited for the very simple drinks order to arrive. Next was the order for starters, and only 2 people out of our party of 8 ordered starters. The starters only arrived with the mains. As for the mains, that took well over an hour to arrive - and only after our pregnant lady got up to find out what was happening with our food. When the mains eventually materialised, we were all so hungry that we couldn't remember who ordered what. The manager only came to our table after we had eaten to ask if everything was ok. We told her we waited so long for our food and her lame explanation was that they had two large tables inside. So this means if they have anything more than 2 large tables to attend to then everything else comes to a grinding halt. What utter rubbish because we looked around inside and out and we were the largest table being occupied at the time. Let me not even get started on the food itself. Basically poor quality for the prices they charge. I had sushi and the plate was full of wasabi fingerprints. You can get much better quality sushi at a Pick 'n Pay. Avoid this place unless you like waiting a long time for your food and wasting your hard earned money on bad service.
