Review Cafe Pavillion - Kempton Park

Lovely restaurant with safe and clean play area for small kids, the food and service was great. The bathrooms are beautiful and they have a baby changing station đź‘Ź I love their Christmas displays, it's absolutely beautiful. You can also host events like babyshowers or a kitchen tea in a more private area.

Visited Sunkist Garden Pavillion and all I can say is wow! They have the most gorgeous Christmas decorations and displays! Definitely somewhere to take the kids and enjoy a light lunch at the awesome restaurant there.

A well known and popular locally owned and owner run garden centre and on site restaurant. Great for family outings and easy gardening solutions. They have one of the best Christmas shops that opens annually from later October to Christmas in Gauteng.

Grace and her team put on a spectacular intimate 80th birthday function with gorgeous decor, great service and delicious food. I would recommend them for any small function at a very reasonable price. All our guests were happy! THANKYOU!!

Beautiful surroundings. Had an awesome bobotie meal and very friendly services. The Cake per slice was however a bit too pricy.

A lovely restaurant area here especially for people with young children. The playground is accessible even for early walkers. The food is great and reasonably priced. They offer blankets for outside and a fire inside in winter. The playground needs a little attention for safety especially for very little ones but overall it is clean and we'll maintained. The bathroom could be more accessible for people with babies and nursing moms. No wifi available here.

Beautiful garden centre to visit. Something for every garden..be it a small balcony,a kitchen garden, a potted garden or a large outside garden. Different nooks and crannies where certain plants and statues are grouped for maximum effect, A shop area with every possible thing you may need, from seeds to soil mixes and pots, small gifts for the gardener, or your home,. A lovely restaurant and outside teagarden where you can relax. There is a also a glasswork studio where classes are given on request. Lots of parking with guards. Situated on High rd Pomona, Benoni. Worth a visit.you will surely return.

After chatting to a friend who assisted in the construction of the new restaurant area i was very impressed by the setting and style of the place... We decided to have lunch there today...... As we sat down we immediately ordered... A soup starter highly recommended by the waitress.... We ordered 2 juices with it.... After 10minutes the waiter returns and says no tropical juice.... No problem a fresh glass of orange will be fine... Another 8mins go buy and am brought a bottle of clover orange juice.... I asked why does it take a total of 18minutes if its as simple as walking to the fridge to take it out.... There were only 5tables occupied in the whole place. The answer'i am fighting with them because they slow"as she pointed to the culprits behind the counter... The manager namley grace looked up briefly from her cell phone and continued on her fone... After 25mins the soup arrives.... Ice cold... No butter for the toast and still no specific answer if the mains being bobotie was available to eat... One sip of the cold soup we decided to cancel the lunch and go else where.... Grace then suddenly got off her fone and said the warm orange juice was no charge. On exit another couple overheard my unhappiness in the plant section and confirmed they had similar slow service.... One can understand if they were busy but 5tables...really.... Then onto the seedling section one guy on duty helping a client... I shopped for what i hope is winter seedlings as there was nobody available until we entered the shop with our trolley. We only ended up spending 550.00 odd... But would have gladly spent a total of at least 2k on lunch plants etc. At the till we asked for johan the owners number to formally complain.. We were handed a card with his number on it. We called from the car only to get back thru to sunkist to hear johan is on leave and back on 9th of june. And we had to talk to grace again..... Bottom line if you want to be in the servive industry rather employ competent people or rather close shop while you go on leave.... Very Dissapointed.... Bad experience....

Not the fastest service you will get but fantastic place to eat and meals are great. The shakes are probably the bet I have had. Fun place for children.

Food and service is fine, the decor beautiful for a restaurant/coffe shop but the tables inside are arranged like an army mes most settings for 6+ patrons and that spoils the ambiance. Outside lovely, big kids play area.

I haven't even been here but I've been looking for the past 30 minutes to get an email address for an enquiry. I eventually called the number provided but just the way the person answered the phone made me not even consider making a reservation here. Very unprofessional

How sad, a muffin shaped scone... We ordered two scones with strawberry jam&cream for afternoon tea and received muffins instead, when questioned we were informed that these are muffin shaped scones; Management are either ignorant or uneducated-a scone is a scone and a muffin something different as all Tea Gardens would know. Service was ok, nothing exceptional nor fast.

While walking around an antique fair we got a bit hungry but didn't feel like eating there. I remembered a breakfast spot my friend once told me about but didnt know exactly where it was so we just drove up high road looking for it. Its inside the sunkist garden centre. I have never been there before and if you a plant lover and only do the usuals off northrand road you should give this one a try. <br/><br/>There is an inside section, outside and even a "smoking section". There is also a huge kids play area. Its just a lovely outdoor area which is appealing to the eyes to sitback and enjoy a meal. <br/><br/>They have a decent variety of food and their prices are reasonable. I took the steak sandwich with chips. My mom took the chicken curry and rice and my sister ordered the quiche. My sandwich was divine and huge i couldn't finish it and the steak was nice and soft. My sister enjoyed her spinach quiche with bacon bits. My mom however didnt like the curry as it was more like a chicken ala king it didnt have any spice to it to be called curry. <br/>The coffees were good, my cappuccino was really strong though. <br/><br/>The other thing i loved about this place was the inside decor with teapots all over it just gave it that quirky feel and i love looking at them all over the walls. And the messages on the walls. Seems to be the in thing at restaurants the chalkboard effect.
