27 Oct started with best milkshakes too thick to use a straw, Oreo - best! Starters Southern fried chicken strips, crispy crispy!! Cheese bombs! Tried the Southern fried chicken with mushrooms & cheese, chicken is crispy and chips! 9 Sept we were there today, for Breakfast, we had a Brunch burger with crispy chips! see photo!! 15 Aug Lunch we had Yummy Oreo Shake and a Chocolate Milkshakes, Cheese bombs, a Stacker and a Bacon & Guac burger. Early Aug. Roco Mamas the manager is always walking around and assisting customers and staff. Cheese bombs, Burgers, chips and shakes are always good yummy food!!

Will be returning soon. Big ups to the store manager for always being active

I visited on a tranquil Monday, which proved to be an excellent occasion as I received prompt assistance and engaged in an enlightening conversation with a staff member regarding the impressive new additions to the franchise menu.

The service is always amazing, I have never been to this restaurant and been disappointed by the staff. The staff are always friendly and they help you as fast as they can. The food is amazing if you are looking for a good burger and fries but I haven't tried anything else on the menu

Always loved their shakes, but their burgers are FAB! The Nachos were superb and the saucy fries was delish! The cheese bombs were good too. Considering how busy they were, service was fantastic! Highly recommended. Thanks André, Stanley and Chris for the delicious meals. We will be back :)

Their tick box menu left a lot to he desired. It was hard to read, blurry is the word. Otherwise good atmosphere. Excellent waitering stuff. Good food.

The burgers were very nice and the service very good! The place lacks atmosphere though. Will just go there to eat good hamburgers and great chips but not to spend time partying.

I loved it, though we were disappointed with not finding the R140 special.

The home of the original smash burger. Who doesn't like Rocomamas? It's always been one of my longtime favourites. I honestly didn't know there was another branch close to me and I am happy to have discovered it. Situated quite easily off Monument and Dann Roads, with ample parking and a great open space too. Staff and management are very hands on and attentive. Special mention to our waitress Louise who was an absolute ROCKstar, with such a great sense of humour, she can definitely get you to order everything off the menu if you are hungry 😂. To start we had the Mixed 6 Bombs (Chilli Cheese, Feta and Jalapeno) with Mofo Mayo (I am still scarred by the mofo wings so that's a NO NO for me, the Mofo Mayo I can handle the heat) and the Smashbrew Onion Rings. You know I gotta have my Onion Rings 😍 Crisp and flavourful, and the bombs had just enough kick to it to compliment the cheesy goodness. Another thing I pleasantly discovered to quench my thirst, was the extremely delicious and chilled @Rekordelig drink? I had the Strawberry/Lime flavour and it really was refreshing. Definitely keeping my eye out for that in future and to try the other varieties too. Off to a great start, what to order next. Although they have their current "Bad Boys" promo Burgers there is also the new SmashMac's on the menu that I've been eyeing out on social media. How do you choose? You dont, you order both and taste each one. We took the Burnett Burger and SmashMac. The burger was - Southern Fried Chicken, Swiss Cheese, Bacon, Shack Sauce, Pickles, Rocoyellow Mustard with fries on the side. The flavour combo is fantastic and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The SmashMac is a mouthful. It starts with a layer of Mac 'n Cheese, topped with 2 x 100g Beef smash, American cheese, Guacamole, Nacho Crumbs, Salsa and Smoked Mayo. It's got a bit of everything in each bite, juiciness, tender beef, crunchy, spicy. I loved it, except the Smoked Mayo. Personally the next time I would rather opt for the Mofo Mayo, the smokiness just kills the taste for me. I was defeat, I couldn't finish it so I took the balance in a takeaway, and Louise made sure I kept a space for some Waffles. Out comes this glorious looking waffle drenched in Nutella, topped with Ice Cream and Bananas. Any new years resolutions went straight out the door. We rolled out of there we were so stuffed. I am so glad the past few branches I've been too have kept up the standards. A while back I was starting to despair. Thanks to Andre and Chris as well for taking good care of us. Ps. Did you know Roco's now sells the @Beyond Meat burger? Good value for money. Friendly staff and fast response to orders for drinks. Large servings. Ample parking. Quite a draft in the smokers area and the cold wind came into the main dining area whenever patrons and waiters used the door from the main dining area into the smokers area. Jenga blocks are a nice touch if you need to kill some time. If you need to have a meal but you are pressed for time this is a good option.

Food is always hot and lovingly made. Staff are helpful and ready to assist. My favourite is the mushroom swizz. And a good started is always the cheese bombs

This Rocomamas was cosy and didn't have an uncomfortable vibe to it. The burgers were great with fantastic chips that are big portions. I even had a vegetarian patty that was not soggy or old like some places, products are fresh and delicious. Their milkshakes remind me of old roadhouse milkshakes with the thickness and how good it tastes. Will definitely be going back again 👏

Good, fast service from friendly and attentive servers, great food and just a good vibe. Highly recommend. Don't go futher up Monument Road to where the big cats lactate. It's kak there

Dear Rocco Mamas, your service has always been the best and I think your vegetarian burger is the best in town. As per my usual Saturday night ritual I ordered the veg burger as take away. When my delivery arrived I was surprised by my delivery being accompanied by a much-too-smaller-packet-for-a-burger packet. When I got inside and looked at it, I couldn’t help but smile from ear to ear. My puppy really enjoyed her biscuit and I thank you for being so thoughtful. As someone who loves her animals to a point where it disgusts and annoys most around me, to be able to find those with the same appreciation I have for my animals you made me an even happier customer than ever��� Thank you Rocco Mamas as well as Beenos

For the 4th time I have had to cancel an uber eats order with you because it takes you over an hour to prepare a burger and chips. This is really pathetic. In the same time, I usually order my husband a meal to be delivered to him from one of your other stores, and he is tucking in nicely while I sit and wait for my food to be done.

Definitely a place to visit, wonderful service, great atmosphere and food to die for... I would most certainly recommended RocoMamas to anyone looking for good food and even better service, yours truly Frosty. Thanks for the great dinner guys and keep up the good work

Food was great, service good, pitty they didn't have dry white wine or Jack Fire as advertised on the menu. Cold Tequila would have been nice.

The food was great service okay but was shocked when paying the Bill the waitress told me to pay 10% of the Bill that it was compulsory. If this is true it should be boldly written on the menu so that we know

Great service, food and drink was served promptly despite the restaurant being busy. Friendly waitress, and best ribs I've ever had. Insane milkshakes! Did I mention we went there two nights in a row?

I have few things I look for when I walk through the doors of a restaurant. 1- Meet and greet.... That when I walk through the door I am recognised as a client and the communication of how long it will take to be seated. 2- Service delivery of a product as advertised. 3- the staff are knowledgeable and that even includes what is not available on a day!! Well done guys you pass with flying colours!!

Tonight was busy, but the friendly manager took my order and a very quick wait in and out the shop with my food ����well done was a good meal

The food was good and the service was very friendly, the We had the Alfi promo1 and The bacon cheese guacamole, large fries and of course my favorite blue cheese sauce to dip the fries in. <br/><br/>Then we ended the night of with cookies and Scream! Waffles <br/><br/>Delicious.

Small burgers, not bad but not worth the money. I would much rather go to their competitor. Recommendation would be the new burger place in town. 😉

The burgers are out of this world delicious. Hot wings are to die for. The family always insist on the cheezy shoe string fries with jalapenos. Really good food. The service is prompt and professional. Sheer excellence!

Truth be told Rocomamas is life. I can eat here everyday and I love how I can m customize my burgers to my taste and liking. I can also build a burger to the size that can satisfy my hunger. The ribs and wings are great too. I never eat the same burger twice as i always customize my food. The service is always great and one never waits for long for their food.

Kick ass burgers for real!!! Great food, great ambiance, super fast service (with a smile) Thank you for going the extra mile with my gin and tonic. Super fussy with my drinks (cucumber and all) :-) Definitely one of those burger joints I will visit often seeing that we don't have that many in Kempton Park .

We've been to a few different branches but the service at Glenacres is really good! The waiters and management is very attentive. The food has always been of the highest quality and the atmosphere is great as well! Will definitely recommend this establishment.

Was quite excited when Rocomamas opened up in Glen Marais. I've tried most of the burgers on the menu and always enjoyed them. Great taste and quality. Ribs are pretty darn good too. The extra hot version of the chicken wings is the bomb! Loved it. The staff have always been very attentive. In general a great dining experience in a diner.

So glad this branch opened so close to us! We've gone a few times with family & friends & will continue to frequent here!<br/>The venue is the same as other branches and the staff and managers are really professional and friendly and Justice is a wonderfully attentive waiter!<br/>Everything is great, but it's just not on par with other branches, as we've experienced a few 'oopsies'.<br/><br/>My husby, brothers and friends tried the "Chilli cheeze bomb" and didn't like it, they said it was way too hot, resulting in them not enjoying their food and tongues burning for some time afterward, haha!<br/>I tried the bunless burger & wouldn't recommend it, somehow it wasn't that great without the bread.<br/>Also had the vegetarian patty (even though I'm not a veggie, I really do enjoy this option) But it wasn't as tasty and crispy as the Irene branch one, it was mushy.<br/><br/>Since Rocomammas stopped the brinjali and saffron chilli chutney, my new go-to burger is now the: Bacon Guac! You cant go wrong because no extra toppings are needed, its very saucy!<br/><br/>Went again and had the 'Peanutology freak shake'. This crazy milkshake is so filling, there's no way you could have this and a meal together, this IS the meal!<br/>It's really yummy and there's obviously no skimping on ingredients there! Will definitely be back to try the other freak shakes!

Update: I was back at rocos last Monday and i must say the burger was incredible. Even my nephew said it was the best burger he had ever had (and he is extremely fussy when it comes to foo) Keep it simple. ☺<br/><br/><br/> Service was great. Our waiter T.J was super efficient and helpful. I had the vegetarian burger with mozzarella, mushroom and hot sauce. The burger pattie was fine., but my bottom bun was still ice cold. Parents had the mushroom whizz burger and chicken wings and they thoroughly enjoyed their meal. I will be back to try the milkshakes.

Never had a bad meal here. I have not eaten burgers at another branch so cannot compare, therefore you get a healthy 4 from me! It beats the other burger offerings in the area hands down, with a nice atmosphere to boot. My kids love it too. Always got a friendly welcome at the door. I like the "build your own" option and the fries are really nice and I have been lucky to get them hot every time, as these thin fries cool down quickly, then becomes inedible. The chicken wings are not my favourite.....

We went to this Kempton Park branch of Rocomamas yesterday evening (Saturday). We ordered 2 of the burgers that were promotions; The New Yorker and Wild Bill. In addition, we ordered medium fries, some buffalo hot wings, and 2 milkshakes. (Blueberry and Oreo)<br/>The food was really disappointing. The fries were cold by the time they arrived at our table, and the buns on our burgers were cold too. The burger patties inside were lukewarm, almost warm. It made me wonder if the food had been sitting out before we were served. <br/>The milkshakes and wings were just okay. <br/>I have eaten at another branch of Rocomamas and had a far tastier meal. I expected the same quality, but was sorely disappointed. <br/>On a positive note the waitress and other staff I encountered were friendly and polite.

Last week Friday, and it seemed everyone wanted burgers! The place was full. We didn't wait too long until we were taken to our table, which was in a really nice spot. <br/><br/>For drinks we ordered a red wine, castle lite and a milkshake. Not any milkshake, but most likely the best flavour I have ever had. CRÉME BRULEÉ. Maybe it was because I didn't expect it to be so On Point, but oh boy, was it? Blew my mind! <br/><br/>I tried the number 2 special, which was the Wild Bill. Chilli, jalapeños and a sprinkle of nacho crisps on top - no bun - it was pretty good! I, unfortunately make better chilli than them, but their patties and house mayo are unbeatable.<br/>We also shared a rack of ribs with the old school BBQ sauce, very good! Ribs and the sauce.<br/><br/>For dessert, we shared one of their flapjack stacks... Wait for it... Milkybar sauce, dollop of Nutella on top and a fresh strawberry. So, so, SO delicious. Flapjacks were fresh, light and fluffy, even with all the sweet toppings, it wasn't a heavy dessert. <br/><br/>Our waitress Naledi was so cool as well, she definitely positively added to our evening! <br/>I love the basin they have near the bathrooms, easily wash your hands instead of actually going into a bathroom. #winning

Second time Im here, the service is good. The food and atmosphere is great as well. I loved it. I recommend it to anyone who loves juicy burgers and a great time 🙏🏾
