A perfect place for a pit stop. A hidden jem. We had a little lunch on the balcony and enjoyed the pleasant vista of the nearby mountains. Both burgers were delicious and well cooked. Portion sizes were perfect, not leaving us too full to then fall asleep on the road whilst nursing a food baby.

Very convenient location for a pitstop. Cosy, great service and a good variety of Karoo food items and homemade preserves, baked goods and sweets. The parking is great and the toilet facilities are clean and modern thanks to a R2 entry mechanism. There is a more 'modern' takeaway shop too if you want an express stop for chicken strips and chips etc.

Excellent, friendly service. We had the Fillet medallion "special" The best steak, cooked to perfection! I had steamed veg which was delicious. My husband had the best crispy chips he had in a long time! The sauces were great and food piping hot.
